I think I read this question but once you have remacths with the gym leaders and you battled them to a point where they won't get stronger can you still battle them at there best. Hope this isn't confusing.

Are you referring to Emerald? I think in there, you only have one chance to rematch them... Not sure though, because when I had a rematch (after Elite Four), they aren't talking in the match calls about a rematch.

If Ruby or Sapphire, then I don't know really..

Yes, after you've battled them for the fifth time, they can still show up in your Match Call and they will be at their max strength.

Yeah i gotta question what kinda relates to this right when you go battle steven then (thrash him LOL) can you rematch him? does he ever appear in your pokenav with the box beside it? cos i want to thrash him again can someone enlighten me please?

You have Ruby or Sapphire, in Emerald, you battle it once and it is like Red in G/S/C.
