Canadian DP Events and Offers?

I was just wondering if there have been any announcements about any DP giveaways or events happening in Canada. I was really disappointed back in September when they weren't offering the Mews at Toys r Us in Canada (or maybe they did; I never could get a straight answer from either Toys r Us OR pokemon.ca on the subject).

Anyways, does anyone know anything about pokemon events in Canada?

I highly doubt it. I have never heard of an event in Canada, ever! Atleast for that advanced generations. I wish they would have some though, that would be spectacular.
