Can't change options

When I try to change account options in the User Control Panel, such as disabling V-Cards or private messaging, the options I change are never applied. I cleared my cookies and it's still doing this.
For example, I uncheck a check box that was previously checked, press "Save Changes" as I should, but the options never are applied? Am I doing something wrong, or has stupid policy been applied to prohibit changes to account options?

Try changing the skin before changing your options.
Might souns strange, but it has already helped several people...

I did what you said, and that solved it. This wasn't a problem earlier though.

I think these problems might have started after the upgrade.

Anyway, this has been answered.
