can't find skitty!!!

iv'e spent ages..... now trying to find a damn skitty so i can get a meowth in my emerald game. just how rare is this pokrmon? iv'e been lookin all over route 116 help!

Skitty can have outbreaks, so you'll have better luck finding it them. I think you need to have beaten the Elite 4 first, but if you're looking to get it for a Meowth, you've probably already beaten it.

you dont catch skitty after the leauge.And if you dont have delcatty you better evolve the one you got and then breed with a pokemon to get another skitty then you can trade , if your going to complete the dex then you better do what I told you instead of having to find another.

After you beat the Elite Four there are Skitty Outbreaks. Just keep on watching the TVs.
I had a Skitty Outbreak instantly after I beat the Elite Four, but I guess others aren't so lucky.

I think that the chances to have an outbreak of one determinated pokémon is rarer than find one skitty... since when I bought emerald I saw no outbreak of no pokemon.
