Okay so I had Pearl and beat it. I got Diamond and tried to play through it. I was just really bored/didn't like my pokemon/etc. so I restarted. I never played R/S but I did play Emerald (two times through) and LOVED it. I recently traded in my Pearl version for Leafgreen and the game is simply amazing.
I know that if I'm going to enjoy the benefits of online battling I need to play and beat Diamond. But I just find Sinnoh so... bleh. The world is small and boring, the battle frontier is dead, the selection of pokemon during the main game is abysmal, the characters are horrible, the story is severely lacking. (I know this sounds like a rant... sorry) You get the point on why I'm finding it hard to play through again... it took all my gaming strength to complete Pearl for the first time... and I couldn't even bring myself to explore the new island.
Questions:
Should I play through Leafgreen, then get Ranger, and wait for a possible third 4th gen game? (like Crystal, Emerald, etc.) Have they said anything about a third one?
Is there any way to get through D/P in under 15 hours??
