~Card Captor Sakura: The Destiny of Seven~

(I would like to thank Wish-chan whose fanfic and helpful advice helped me create this RPG and I'll like to thank her for everything. Also, CLAMP owns Card Captor Sakura so I'll like to thank them as well. I know I sound like a moron but this took me a great deal of my time and energy to write so that's why I want to thank them. Also, this is an old CCS RPG, re-starting due to popular request and editted and improved so more people can participate)

...It all begins...

For as long as anyone can remember, there have always been two worlds on this planet. The normal world and the ‘magical’ world. This ‘magical’ world that co-exists with the ‘normal’ world is home to a ‘race’ of people called sorcerers. These sorcerers are still nonetheless, human beings; sometimes there is no way of telling them apart from ‘normal’ people, while other times, it is glaringly obvious. They are still Homo sapiens; we are of the same blood and flesh. The only difference is sorcerers, possess fantastical, unreal, even deadly supernatural powers which they call magic, sorcery. Their powers range from the ability to levitate a small teaspoon to the power to cause a Hurricane, even to take lives in mass numbers with the simple flick of a finger. People of magic, of power, of destiny… But there is Western Magic and Eastern Magic, each with their good and bad… Sorcerers were separated into two sides, the ones of the East and the ones of the West… They hate each other with their hearts; fear them, because they are just so alike… Nonetheless, even though their powers and abilities are great; they are still human beings, and speak in the languages used by humans. And so the Magical World existed alongside our world…

The two worlds have co-existed for many centuries; some times being more peaceful than others. Nevertheless, we still shared the same soil and turf and the two worlds managed to keep sound harmony. Somewhere in the world, many eons ago, a single sorcerer who had power beyond your wildest dreams infused the power of the East and the West and finally uniting the Western and Eastern Magic and ending the feud. His name was Clow Reed and with the powers of magic and destiny, he created the most powerful magical artefact of the world; the Clow Cards. They were the result of a combination of both Eastern and Western magic that formed the basis of an entirely new type of wizardry unlike anything else seen at the time.…

There are things in each world that mustn’t be discovered… Such as the Clow Cards… The Cards were sealed away by a book, a guardian of the Sun and a guardian of the Moon, to never be opened again, for so it has been said and should ever be.

All people live and die; life is a journey where everyone, must meet their demises in the end. Even for the most powerful sorcerer, Clow Reed himself, soon the time to pass on came… To contain the incredible power of the Clow Cards after his passing, Clow Reed locked the Clow Cards into the Clow Book. In addition, he assigned two magical beings whom he also created to guard the Clow Cards—Cerberus the Guardian of the Sun represented by a golden, winged lion on the Clow Book's front cover and Yue the Guardian of the Moon represented by a winged, crescent moon on the Clow Book's back cover. The two guardians watch for anyone who would be capable of becoming the new Master of the Clow Cards, with Cerberus, Beast of the Seal and The Selector, being the advocate of the new candidate and Yue, the Judge, passing the final judgment of worthiness.

For many years after Clow’s death, the Clow was protected from view and was kept untouched for many years. The Cards were no without a Card Master or Mistress as their previous Master Clow Reed, had passed away. This meant they were now under no control of a magical contract which they once were under Clow’s magic. If they were released from the Clow Book, they could cause great havoc and damage. It was a good thing they were untouched for many years. But this all changed on one faithful day and this is where Sakura Kinomoto’s adventure begins…

It all began on a typical day in the modern Japanese suburban town of Tomoeda, home to many Japanese citizens, living the comfortable yet busy city life but most particularly home to a special family consisting of three people; Fujitaka Kinomoto, a brown-haired professor at an university, the father of his two children, Touya, a high school student who lives with his father Fujitaka and his little sister Sakura, and Sakura, a kind-hearted girl of a tender ten years at the time. It was a seemingly ordinary day; her father was off at work, her brother at one of his many part-time jobs and young Sakura was spending a seemingly ordinary day at home by herself. Little did she know that she would soon face things beyond her dreams- and her nightmares…

Sakura Kinomoto was down stairs in her father’s study and library which contained many ancient and mysterious books when she found a strange book almost beckoning her to open it. On its front cover was its intricate title which read ‘The Clow’. She undid the seal and opened the Clow, a feat which people with no great magical potential would have able to do. She was destined for great things yet she did not know yet…

When she opens ‘The Clow’ and sees inside there is a deck of strange looking tarot cards. She then out of curiosity picks up the very top card on the deck and she peers at it. The card had a very peculiar design, with a pattern of the Sun, Moon and the Stars on its sides and in the middle, a gentle looking feminine figure with the words ‘Windy’ written on the bottom. She then innocently reads out its name, ‘The Windy’. Suddenly, a glowing magical circle with a pattern of mystical energies and the Sun and the Moon appear under her feet, with Sakura being in its centre point. A gust of powerful wind encircles her, as Sakura cried. She held on to the ‘The Windy’ card as the others were blown by the wind out through the window, released into the world. Little did she know what she had just done…

Sakura cried in surprise as the wind died down and the circle disappeared. Immediately, a cute fluffy looking orange plush toy suddenly emerges from the front cover of ‘The Clow’. It looked like it was sleeping. Then suddenly, it opened its eyes and cried a stifled yowl. Sakura was surprised; plush toys did not talk and they couldn’t speak. She then grabbed it and checked if it had batteries. It didn’t’; it was alive. The plush toy called itself Cerberus and then asked Sakura where the Clow Cards were. Sakura told him they were all blown away and the only whole she had left was ‘The Windy’. Cerberus, Kero-chan for short then realised that she accidentally released the magical Clow Cards contained therein via the power of ‘The Windy’ and that someone needed to capture the Cards again now that they were on the loose under no magical contract and seal them under a new contract of magic, a Cardcaptor was needed.

Kero-chan then decided to recruit Sakura as she was the one responsible of releasing the Cards and she did have quite a lot of magical potential. So then Sakura Kinomoto was recruited to become the Cardcaptor and retrieve the Cards. In return, she gained the right to use the Cards' power herself. Sakura then received a curious key-shaped staff, the mystical Sealing Staff of Clow Reed and the Key of the Book of Clow, and she set out to capture the loose Cards. Little did she know she was fulfilling her own destiny as Clow Reed’s chosen successor…

Sakura, with the help of Kero-chan and her friend Tomoyo Daidouji slowly but surely started to recapture the loose Clow Cards and she was starting to make good progress. From the far distant city of Hong Kong, a boy of Sakura’s age who was part of the Li Clan arrived in Tomoeda. His name was Syaoran Li and he was the next Li Clan Leader. The Li Clan were a powerful influential Chinese family in Hong Kong who were descendants of Clow Reed himself. They were a magical family and nearly all members of the Clan had magical powers. Syaoran was no exception. He was also a Cardcaptor who wanted to capture the Clow Cards, a rival of Sakura. At first, they did not go along very well but soon they became allies and friends and where and he joined in her quest capture the Clow Cards.

In their adventures, the Cardcaptors fought many different Clow Cards ranging from the gentle mild ‘The Wood’ to the aggressive proud ‘The Fight’. Sakura, being the only one with the Sealing Staff was the only person who was able to recapture the . Slowly, a turn in the tide started to proceed… But the Clow Cards were not finished with yet and little did they did they know that something more ominous than the Clow Cards was waiting to be awoken…

Soon, Sakura and Syaoran with the help of Kero-chan, Tomoyo, Kaho Mitsuki, Sakura and Syaoran’s magical mysterious teacher and Syaoran’s cousin Meiling were finally down to capturing the last of the Clow Cards, Earthy. Apart from the most powerful cards in the Deck which were ‘The Light’ and ‘The Dark’, there were the four most powerful Clow Cards called the Elementals. Those four cards tapped into the mystic realm of Elemental Magic. There were ‘The Windy’, ‘The Firey’, ‘The Watery’ and ‘The Earthy’. ‘The Earthy’ proved quite a challenge but Sakura using ‘The Wood’ card and Kero-chan, who had now gained enough magical strength to change into his true form, into a great winged fire breathing feline, managed to defeat and capture it. The moment ‘The Earthy’ was captured, suddenly Yukito, Sakura’s brother’s best friend suddenly transformed into a Celestial magical winged human; Yue. The Judge was awaken once more and was ready to test Sakura and Syaoran, both holders of some of the Clow Cards, to see if one of them was worthy to be Clow’s successor and the next Master or Mistress of the Cards.

Yue faced Syaoran first; the amber eyed boy lost almost immediately. Soon it was Sakura’s turn. Yue and Sakura battled it out but she lost at first as Yue’s Moon based magic had power over nearly half of Sakura’s Clow Cards as half of the Cards draws their power from the Moon while the other half draws their power from the Sun. Sakura did not know what she could do; all of her magic was based on Clow Reed’s superior magical abilities; it was almost as if she didn’t have magic of her own. But suddenly, Sakura lost her consciousness as she then found herself talking to Clow Reed himself.

He told her she had magical potentials beyond anyone’s wildest imaginations. Clow Reed then told Sakura of her unique magical abilities, which wasn’t Sun based or Moon based but Star based; it drew its powers from the Stars. Here Clow explained the coincidences he had planned for Sakura--situations that would allow her to recapture all the Cards. He also advised Sakura to take care of her new power, the power that changed the original sealing wand into one that is completely Sakura's. This thus changed all the magic of the Clow Cards into Star Magic, allowing Cards that Yue once had control over to, to become completely under Sakura’s Magical Contract and Power. Sakura then defeated Yue and finally completed the Final Judgment, thus becoming the new Mistress of The Clow. But the battle was not over yet…

When Sakura passed the Final Judgment and was declared the new Mistress of the Clow, as a result, the Clow Cards lost their affinity and their magical connection with Clow Reed. Sakura must realign all of them under her own magic, the Star Magic, thus transforming them into Sakura Cards. If she doesn’t do this in time, the Clow Cards might slowly fade out of existence. These Sakura Cards have a pink colour scheme as opposed to the red scheme of the Clow Cards.

As Sakura tried to convert the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards, a new arrival was one the scene. In Syaoran and Sakura’s year, a new transfer student from England had arrived in Tomoeda. He was of Syaoran and Sakura’s age and his name was Eriol Hiiragizawa and little did they know who he truly was…

Syaoran Li was slowly falling in love with Sakura Kinomoto; everybody could tell. Tomoyo Daidouji a.k.a the ‘D-Cam Maniac’ could tell. Touya Kinomoto alias ‘The Baka’ could tell. Even Eriol Hiiragizawa, Sakura’s new friend, also known as the ‘Four Eyed Freak’ could tell. It seemed everyone except Sakura herself could tell Syaoran was in love with his ex-rival, now best friend. At the same time, a series of magical disasters forced Sakura to gradually convert the Clow Cards into ‘Sakura Cards,’ which draw from her own magical energy rather than the dwindling amount of magic left in them by Clow. Somebody was behind all of this…

Mysteriously, whenever Sakura, Syaoran and their friends were involved in another magical supernatural disaster, they could sense Clow Reed’s presence. Clow Reed was meant to be dead but how could that be possible? Could it? What Sakura did not know is that Eriol, her new friend, the transfer student himself creates these situations. He was Clow Reed’s reincarnation, who was fulfilling his past self’s wish; to help Sakura to convert all the Cards before it’s too late. During each battle or event, he was seen from afar just observing the action, often accompanied by his guardians, Spinel Sun and Ruby Moon. All three of them even lived in a house that was formerly occupied by Clow Reed himself.

Eventually Eriol confronted Sakura and revealed himself to be the reincarnation of Clow Reed, creator of the Cards. He challenged Sakura to defeat him by converting the final Cards, The Light and The Dark, which would prevent Tomoeda from being permanently plunged into darkness. With his guardians occupying the attention of Sakura's own guardians, Yue and Cerberus, Eriol used his magic to hamper Sakura. But eventually she managesdto convert Light and Dark with the help of Cerberus and Yue, who together fused with Sakura's wand to make it more powerful, and Syaoran, who provided both magical and moral support.

Eriol and his guardians escaped the scene after his defeat, and on the next day he informed Tomoeda Elementary that he would be returning to England. However before his leave, he invited Sakura, Syaoran, and Tomoyo Daidouji to his home, where he calmly treated them to tea and explained that his motivations and challenges were to aid Sakura in reaching her potential. He then introduces Kaho as his overseas aide. Eriol then admitted he did not foresee everything as Clow Reed but said the surprise was certainly not unwelcome. Then Eriol and his two guardians then left for London. That was the last anyone heard of them…

All was going good. Syaoran had finally gained the courage to confess his feelings to Sakura and they were returned. Tomoyo gained yet another D-Cam to her collection and Kero-chan conveniently found a way to scoff down as many sweets as he can while playing the next level on his video game. Many prosperous years had past. But then it happened… It was Sakura’s thirteenth birthday party; everyone she could think of was invited; her father and brother, her second cousin and best friend Tomoyo, the overly confident yet caring Meiling Li, the bickering couple Yamazaki and Chiharu, the gluttonous Kero-chan who invited himself as one of Sakura’s inanimate plush toys, Yue who attended in his false form as Yukito, the creative Naoko, Terada-Sensei, the shy Rika, ‘creepy glasses’ Eriol, the eccentric Ruby Moon, Spinel Sun the ‘Drunk’ and finally, the compassionate Syaoran. Kaho was the only one who said she couldn’t make it. Nobody knows what happened that eve on Sakura’s birthday but the neighbours said they saw an ominous blaze of light flash on the strike of seven and when they went into the Kinomoto Residence to see what happened, the place was deserted; nobody was there. It was as if nobody had ever lived there but yet they heard noises from that house…

That was the last anyone saw of Sakura and her companions…

Three years had past since Sakura had converted all of the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards. People moved on as those who knew Sakura and her friends mourned for their disappearances and suspected deaths. The Sakura Cards had disappeared with their Mistress; there was nothing that threatened Tomoeda now. Eriol and his Guardians had disappeared. All possible threats were eliminated. That’s what they thought. They were wrong…

In the Kinomoto Residence where Sakura and her family once occupied, Kaho Mitsuki, uncovered a startling ancient parchment. On it was an ancient legend of the Great Five. This is what the parchment said:

There were seven great magicians in the generation before Clow Reed, who was the greatest in the world. Each of them had mastered in one of the combined five principles of Eastern and Western magic. Back then, Magic was divided into Seven basic categories.

First was the ‘power of the heavenly bodies.’ This was borrowing power from the sun, moon, stars, and celestial events. Second was the ‘elemental power,’ the force drawn from earthly aura. Power was drawn from wood, fire, wind, earth, metal, and water, the Five Elements Theory plus the additional Elemental power of the wind. Third was the 'sixth sense,' or sometimes called the second sight. This was the gift of seeing the unearthly spirits, telecommunication, fortune telling with dreams, and the magic with one’s will and mind power control.

Next was 'contract magic.' This was the power drawn from complex spells, like magic circles, scrolls, incantations, ward papers, etc. Fifth was ‘time and space magic’, the power to influence the very fabrics of space and time. Then came ‘summon magic’, those gifted with to able to summon the most fantastical and powerful creatures the earth had ever seen. And last was the 'power of the dark and light.' These Seven Principles of Magic combined formed the basis of Eastern Magic and Western Magic. The Seven who mastered the Principles of Magic was known as the Great Seven. They had power beyond anyone had ever since; they were truly the greatest of the great. There magic shall be passed down from generation to generations, growing more and more powerful as it goes.

The Great Seven; each of them represented each of the Seven Powers. There names were Hayashi Amamiya of the Heavenly Bodies, Shulin Li of the Elemental Power, Mayura Mizuki of the Second Sight, Landon Reed of Contract Magic, Takashi Ishida of the Time and Space, Ayumi Takaishi of the Summons and finally, Ruichi Chang of the Power of Light and Dark. They were the most powerful of the powerful. Then, Clow Reed came along, son of Shulin Li and Landon Reed, two of the seven magicians; he then became the greatest magician of the world, by blending the powers of East and West, and all of the Seven Powers. He uses power of the sun, darkness, as well as the five elements. Clow can bend the laws of Time and Space and he can summon and tame even the most volatile of mythical monsters. He also uses magic circles, staffs, incantations, as well as being able to see the future. Clow Reed may be the world’s most powerful sorcerer and he is able to predict the future but his insolence not to know and finish off the work his parents had started may have already jeopardised the future of the next generations of the Great Seven to come.

Kaho was puzzled. Eriol had never mentioned this before. Why? She knew her family was of ancient magical heritage but she didn’t know it stretched this far back nor did she knew it was of powerful sorcery. The auburn haired woman continued to read.

Many years ago, when the world was still young, an entity of pure evil emerged. It had powers beyond people’s imaginations. It was almost invincible. Soon this evil spread throughout the lands like an epidemic and consumed the hearts of people with evil and corrupted them. People were in despair; they did not know what to do. But the Great Seven emerged. The two leaders of the group, Hayashi Amamiya and Shulin Li, led Mayura Mizuki, Landon Reed, Takashi Ishida, Ayumi Takaishi and Ruichi Reed. The Great Seven won but were only able to seal the evil away. All was good. Then it happened. Ruichi’s heart went cold and evil; it seemed none of the Great Five cared about his twin sister Risa who was suffering from a fatal terminal illness. Little did he know the disease of caused by the entity of evil.

Soon Ruichi went bad; his heart was corrupted and he gained a great hatred for his former friends and seeks to destroy them. The deep kindled love between Hayashi and Shulin was destroyed, and Shulin left with Landon to London, marrying him baring Landon a son instead and leaving a heart broken Hayashi mourning for his lost love. Takashi went mad after his dearest son was cruelly murdered by Ruichi, who quickly killed the Time and Space Sorcerer’s son while he wasn’t looking. Ayumi was imprisoned by Ruichi, kept hostage in a void of enmity and darkness. Mayura was publicly disgraced; she was falsely accused of losing her virginity by Ruichi while she was still the chief miko of the Tsukimine Shrine. The villagers stoned her to death as the gentle hearted Mayura couldn’t dare hurt her fellow villagers with her magic; even for her own life. The moment Mayura died, something hideous happened; Ruichi had forgotten that the Great Seven had made a bond to once one of them dies, all of them immediately follow their companion’s path; for the cost of their lives.

The Great Seven then in their dying breath, transformed themselves into pure magical entity, and thus their magic and spirit shall pass down through the generations of their families; their abilities and traits passed down from generation to generation; all of the Mizuki family were talented in archery like Mayura, the Li family formed a clan and Shulin’s elemental magic eventually manifested as ofuda magic and the Reed family consisted nearly completely of twisted people like Landon Reed himself. But in every generation, there is a Great Seven; a descendant of Hayashi, a descendant of Shulin, a descendant of Mayura, a descendant of Landon, a descendant of Takashi, a descendant of Ayumi and a descendant of Ruichi, with the spirits of their ancestors living in them. But the spirits and powers of Hayashi, Shulin, Mayura, Landon, Takashi, Ayumi and Ruichi would only truly fully manifest when it is time to save the world; when the time is right.

As legend goes, the Amamiya and the Li shall prepare the way; they were to appear first and save the worlds from a deadly threat; but only a shadow of a much more powerful evil. Although Clow never bothered to truly destroy the entity due to his twisted insolence, he did give a VERY powerful aid; his heir and legacy; the Card Mistress. The Mistress is to be the Amamiya as Hayashi’s role as the leader of the Seven still stands strong. But the Mistress’s Cards shall not be easily given and willingly found; they will be scattering and on the loose once more, in the faithful town of Tomoeda where it all began; like they scattered when they were Clow Cards, they shall scatter once more as Sakura Cards. These Cards must be recaptured by the other Great Ones; the cards are only truly loyal to their one true Mistress but they will be loyal to the other Great Ones as it was Clow, their old master’s will.

The other Great Ones will only appeared when the time is right and when the Amamiya and Li of that generation had been defeated and imprisoned by the true evil. Only then will the others will appear, and save the other two and together, the five shall defeat the evil, once and for all. We do not know what this evil is but we know it had sealed away by the Great Seven before; they put a lock on; a lock that cannot be broken but only with five powerful magical artefacts. There is no known way of opening the lock; we do not even know its location. But we do know that the poor soul who tries the open it shall feel the indescribable pain and shall deeply regret it…

Kaho were startled. She could not make head or tail of what this legend was talking about. She dismissed it as a myth and she ignored it. Little did she know of its importance…

Only days after Kaho had discovered the parchment, after Kaho had returned to England, the word came from Tomoeda that suddenly, there were mysterious magical disasters happening all over Tomoeda. But that was only the beginning… Soon they were happening all over the world. It was like the Clow Cards all over again, except this time it wasn’t just in Tomoeda. This was found odd by many people; why was this happening? They awaited the return of Sakura and his friends, trying to cope as best as they could until then. However, many people fell to the plights…

Kaho then returned to Tomoeda; she knew something was not quite right. The auburn haired woman then found something in the abandoned Kinomoto Residence. Neatly, in the middle of the floor, was a glowing book. It looked like it had seen better days. It had a title; ‘The Clow’. Kaho gasped and opened the book. Inside it was nothing, no Sakura Cards, no Kero-chan, nothing. But on the flip side of the front cover, was an inscription. It had strange symbol which looked identical to Sakura’s magical circle, except it had four other different smaller magical circles inside it. In the centre of Sakura’s star of her circle suddenly the name ‘Sakura Kinomoto’ appeared on it. Also, one of the smaller circles had a crescent moon in its middle suddenly on the name ‘Syaoran Li’ appear on it. Kaho looked at the other three magical circles; they didn’t have names on them. May be, just may be the legend was true… After all, Nadeshiko Amamiya was Sakura’s mother… Then suddenly, five Sakura Cards appeared in the book. They were ‘The Windy’, ‘The Jump’, ‘The Through’, ‘The Mirror’ and ‘The Wood’. Kaho then read the inscription:

To find the Other Great Ones of Sakura’s generation, you must first find their sealing staffs which Clow has made for them specially. These sealing staffs are to be used to recapture the Sakura Cards and help save Sakura and Syaoran. Their sealing staffs can be in terms of physical appearance either actual staffs or swords The Great Five will be of the following age range. Sakura and Syaoran’s current age is sixteen. The youngest possible is one year from Sakura’s current age and the eldest possible is one year from Syaoran’s current age. The Others will be somewhere in Tomoeda; their staffs shall find them and when you venture close to them, their name shall appear on their magical circle in this book. Also, the Great Five have two Guardians each; one of the Sun and one of the Moon. The Guardians are hiding in their false forms, waiting patiently for the Master and Mistresses to arrive. They will recognise their Masters and Mistresses. All of the Great Seven will be attending their First Year of Senior High School in Tomoeda. Once you find the Great Seven, the Sealing Staffs Clow made for them specifically shall find them also. These five Sakura Cards have been specifically chosen and protected by Clow Reed himself so each of the five Great Ones have a starting point. ‘The Windy’ is to be lent the descendant of Mizuki, ‘The Jump’ to the descendant of Reed, ‘The Through’ to the descendant of Ishida, ‘The Mirror’ to the descendant of Takaishi and ‘The Wood’ to the descendant of Chang.

Suddenly, a burst of fire attacked her from above the house. Her attacker resembled a young boy with shoulder length blond hair, a bare torso, and very long elf-like ears. He has a corona of fire around its head and has no legs, but he flew on a column of fire. He also has large orange-feathered wings. He was the Firey Card. The legend was true; the Sakura Cards where on the loose. She then took out the parchment she had examined before. There was a very slight chance, the Other Great Seven might still exist.

Sakura was needed. But she had kidnapped and now in goodness knows what, and so her duty as a Card Captor would be passed down to other people. If the legend was true then she must find the Great Seven and their guardians for it was their only hope. She took out a map. Somebody now had to recapture all the Sakura Cards again and rescue Sakura and her friends. Kaho hoped that the legend was true…

Summary:

You are one of the predestined Great Seven. You don’t know that. You don’t even that your ancestors were powerful magicians and you don’t know much about magic as well. Your goal is recapture the Sakura Cards, fight against this new evil, rescue Sakura, Syaoran, Kero-chan, Eriol, Tomoyo and the others who disappeared at the party and try and solve the mystery of the Five Force Lock; the lock the Great Seven put on the great evil. Tomoeda Senior High School is starting today and it’s your first day of Senior High School. All of your other fellow Great Seven are in the same class as you; 1-7. Guardians can be of any year group; as long as they attend the same school. Your adventure starts in your first day of Senior High School where you, one of the Great Seven, will first meet your sealing staff…

Okay, now that that’s done, I suppose I have to explain technical terms now?

Sealing Staffs and Other Weapons: The main weapon in Card Captor Sakura, the Sealing Staff, is the only thing that can return a Sakura/Clow Card to its original form and thus capture it. It is one of the few weapons that can truly make a Sakura/Clow Card obey you even you are not its true Mistress/Master. It’s said that the Sealing Staff has the power to save the world, but also is said that it has the power to create chaos. You can use weapons like guns, swords, axes, shields, bows and arrows, whatever your heart desires. But the main weapon is the Sealing Staff and everyone who is one of the Ones of the Great Seven MUST have one. You can get bows and arrows and all that stuff as extra weapons but everyone who is one of other Great Five MUST have a Sealing Staff.

Magic: As you know, Sakura/Clow Cards aren’t the only source of magic. You can have other magical abilities such as Sakura’s precognition and Touya’s Second Sight but like your magical abilities regarding Sakura/Clow Cards, you don’t know much of them but yet you HAVE them. If you choose to be one of the Ones of the Great Seven, then you must have ONE these additional magical. You must choose the magic which is your past life’s specialty. So if you’re the Chang, then you MUST choose the Power of Dark and Light, if you’re the Mizuki, you must choose the Second Sight, etc. Don’t overpower as you must describe the extents of these powers and I will be harsh to those who overpower themselves. Remember, be simplistic and weak but as soon as you give the Sakura Cards back to Sakura after you rescue her, these additional powers of yours WILL increase dramatically so don’t fret:

The Power of Heavenly Bodies: This is magic involving borrowing power and magic from the sun, moon, stars, and celestial events. So energy rejuvenation via solar energy, energy influenced powers such as synthesis and solar beams are part of this. Also, you can influence Elemental Powers such as tides and wave patterns with this magic. You may also influence gravity and create powerful magical shields. You can also influence ALL magic related to the Heavenly Bodies such as if Syaoran attacks you and his magic is Moon Based Contract & Elemental Magic, you can deliberately make his magic backfire. This magic is very nifty as nearly everyone’s magic is related to the sun, moon, stars and celestial events. But for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as a small magic level boost while in strong sunlight.

Elemental Power: This type is where force is drawn from earthly aura. Power is drawn from wood, fire, wind, earth, metal, and water, the Five Elements Theory plus the Elemental Power of the Wind. So basically, you can influence the Elemental Sources slightly: Wood, Fire, Earth, Wind, Metal and Water. This can manifest as either ofuda ward papers which branches into Contract Magic or like the mutant powers of the X-Men. But for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as able to kindle VERY small flames

Second Sight: This is also known as the Sixth Sense. This was the gift of seeing the unearthly spirits, telecommunication, fortune telling with dreams, and the magic with one’s will and mind power control. So you can have precognitive powers, telekinesis and telepathy with this. But for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as when using the Sakura Cards as Tarot Cards, you know there deeper meaning much faster and easier than others.

Contract Magic: This is the power drawn from complex spells, like magic circles, scrolls, incantations, ward papers, etc. So Ofuda cards and incantations and spells are good examples of this. So all the verbal spells in Harry Potter or the ‘Magic’ in X-Men which are both spoken incantations and spells are examples of Contract Magic. This is the most diverse and open Magical Abilities as it can reach into a lot of power. But for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as you can repeatedly say what you wish to happen and you might have influenced the probability of it more likely to happen a LITTLE bit.

Time and Space Magic: Time and Space Magic is a category of magic broadly encompasses those spells which relate to spatial status (including outer space and the concept of teleportation) and the flow of time. Those who could harness this kind of magic can affect the rate of activity of allies, theirs and their opponents. What they can do include they can “Haste” and increase the speed and rate of activity of individuals, slow down the speed and rate of activity of others and they can also completely bend the rules of time and space, able to stop time and such. Also they can affect their targets' spatial status and theirs by able to teleport, and they can increase, decrease and influence their density and others, and such. Shadowcat from X-Men and her powers is a good example of able to influence density (i.e. able to walk through walls,etc.). Also Time and Space Magic also includes Gravity-based powers, entropy projection, and able to create powerful force-fields. But for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as able to fall a bit slower than others.

Summon Magic: This is the type of magic in where which a multitude of magical creatures are called forth to aid in battle, either through attacking enemies or offering healing and/or protection to allies. There is a surreal realm of mythical creatures and only those who have perfected the art of Summon Magic and summon them and control them. Summoned monsters are described as humans that were transformed in the magical crossfire between three powerful sorcerers, and who then created the own world of the Summon Monsters, sealing the gate between it and the human world. Summon Monsters, also known as Summons, are controlled by sorcerers who have perfected the art of Summon Magic. They learn new magic and physical attacks as the Summoner progresses in level. There are different Summon Monsters, some more powerful than others. The more powerful the Summoner, the more variety of monsters they are able to summon. Also, the more powerful the Summoner becomes, the more powerful the actual monster they summon becomes. I will provide a list of Summon Monsters and what they can do but for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as able to summon a small normal animal such as a ferret.

The Power of Light and Dark: This is where you use the power of light and dark. So ‘White’ Magic such as curing people and ‘Black’ Magic such as giving people curses are examples of this. Light and Dark are a pair which you can’t separate; with light comes dark and with dark comes light. Light and Dark together are okay but if you become too greedy and spiteful like Ruichi did, your heart might become corrupted and you might completely forget about Light and only focus on ‘Black’ Magic. But for now, until the Sakura Cards are recaptured and given back to Sakura, nothing too grand. So small things such as able to see in the Dark.

Also, when you capture Sakura Cards, it doesn’t matter WHO returns the Card into its card form, the Card goes to the Great One who had the biggest role in capturing it. I decide who gets the Card and in the end, all five Card Captors will have seven Sakura Cards equally in their possession before Sakura gets ALL of them back. You can lend each other cards when one of you specifically needs one. But your guardian should be able to help you get you to places. Only the Great Ones can capture cards and use them.

Basic rules:

1) No God-Modding or 'invincible' players.

2) I have the right to expel or refuse anyone who does not meet my standards.

3) You have a right to know why I am expelling/refusing you.

4) I expect you to at least skim each person’s post so you know what is happening. There is nothing more annoying than when someone captures a certain Sakura Card in their post, and the next person posts saying that their character is fighting the certain Sakura Card. -_-;; So READ!

5) If you are going to swear excessively, post a warning at the top of your post please. I don’t mind swearing if it is appropriate for that situation, but no needless swearing please.

6) No extreme romance, i.e. No sex scenes. I don’t expect any, as obviously it will be kind of hard to find love in these hard times any way but if you are thinking of developing a relationship between two characters, kissing is the maximum you can do.

7) No bunnying, i.e. controlling another RPGer’s character. You can only control another person’s character with their expressed permission VIA PM.

8) Try to post at least once every two days. I don't want this to die as soon as it starts.

9) If your Sign-Up doesn’t meet my standards, I will refuse it. You may edit appropriately and resubmit it but beware, every time I refuse it, you will lose one chance. Each person has three chances. If you lose all your chances, tough luck, you can’t join the RPG.

10) HAVE FUN!

The rules could be edited later.

I am cracking down on grammar, length and depth in this RPG. I will not, I repeat, not accept anyone who I feel cannot uphold to my grammar and RPG’ing standards.

Be warned: when the RPG starts, I will not hesitate to expel any members of the Team who don’t post long replies. No five line additions to the RPG, that’s not a post. Plus, I expect some level of maturity in your posts, and a basic usage of proper, and possibly advanced, English.

The Sign-up Sheet.

Keep in mind that this is NOT Sakura’s story. It is related but not the same. Remember to keep your characters far away from Sakura. In the RPG, you’ll have NO IDEA about Sakura, the Great Five and anything major; there is no real reason you should. Don’t make your character like he/she was sitting right behind Sakura all the time. Nobody could have apart from the main witnesses. Your character is one of the predestined Great Ones. You must choose one of the following families if you want to be a Great One. Mizuki, Reed, Ishida, Takaishi and Chang. Only ONE person can be of each ancestry and as I’m taking Ishida, basically only four other people will be in this RPG. If this is popular, I may think of a way to include LSUs in the RPG.

Now with that done, I will like to present you the Sign-Up Form…

Name: (First and Last Name required. Your surname doesn’t necessarily be Mizuki or Reed if you’re a Great One but your mother or one of you grandparents or one of your great grand parents has to)

Age: (15-17. Must be attending First Year of Senior High School. Yes, for seventeen year olds, they repeated an year and for fifteen year olds, they skipped on year as First Year of Senior High School is the Japanese equivalent of Grade 10 so most people would be sixteen. So sixteen is the recommendable age.)

Gender:

Description: FIVES LINES MINIMUM

Personality: FIVE LINES MINIMUM

History: FIVE LINES MINIMUM

Weapon: (Sealing Staff plus an extra weapon if you want one. I’ll explain the Sealing Staffs more thoroughly later on)

Magic: (K.I.S.S. Also it has to be the one of your chosen ancestry)

Other:

I’ll post my Sign-Up later. I just hope this RPG attracts enough people.

Regarding Reservations: I only give Reservations to those I trust will give me a good quality Sign-Up in time. But just because you don't get a Reservation, doesn't mean you can't try out for the spot; it just means you have to do it the hard old fashioned way. But I repeat, a reservation does NOT mean auto-entry for me. Plus anyone can challenge your Sign-Up while you're still reserved and if they produce a better Sign-Up, the spot goes over to the better RP-er. Sorry but that's the way it works. Also, read my Ten RPG Rules above before even TRYING out for this RPG.

Current List of Participators

1.) The Mizuki:
2.) The Reed: Literate TAKEN
3.) The Ishida: masterwannabe TAKEN
4.) The Takaishi:
5.) The Chang: Jellybeans TAKEN

Regarding Reservations: Reservation does not mean auto-entry for me. Plus anyone can challenge your Sign-Up while you're still Reserved and if they produce a better Reed Sign-Up, the spot goes over to the better RP-er. Sorry but that's the way it works.

Also, I forgot who were in the Old RPG so those who were in the old one, you could just copy-and paste your old Sign-Up.

Name: Nicola Marie Gail (Great, great grandmothers original name was Mizuki)

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Description: Nicola can never be seen without her usual Dark red sleeveless shirt. It has a pink broken heart on her chest area. Her secondary, never-seen-without item of clothing is either her faded light blue jeans with black graffiti style writing on the right knee or more likely a black mini skirt. She is seen to wear the same clothes everyday but she infact has two pairs and washes them each night. Her hair is always tied in a ponytail mainly to the left hand side and her hair is a dirty blond colour. Her eyes are usually either sapphire blue or emerald green but alter their colour from time to time so she may sometimes be seen with yellow eyes. She also has a braclet that is just above her left knee and just under where her skirt ends. She also has a necklace of a rose quartz gem stone pendant in the shape of a heart that dangles loosly from her neck. She is known to have a very athletic posture.

Personality: Nicola can be a girly girl at points, having fun is her main way of how to do things. She can be very flirty to boys if she is in a good mood but is known to change moods in a blink of an eye. People see her a fun loving girl that can just play around all day and be happy but inside she knows herself that she needs other people around or she is not very fun and is infact the opposite of that. She is very emotionally intune with herself which helps her when she is writing her song lyrics and can be seen as a very emotional girl.

History: Growing up Nicola came into contacts with the supernatural numerous times such as ghosts and even woke up late at night several times caused by something and she would see an outline and instantly know it was her grandfather who had died just before she was born. Aroudn the age of eight she made a doll for herself. She made the whole thing without thinking about it, upon first making it, its colour was a bright pink but within a week it had turned a greyish purple and had a zipper for a mouth. It's head was much bigger than its body which gave it an eerrie effect. As she aged she began to beleive a spirit inhabbited the doll and from there she grew an amazingly huge liking to ghosts and the supernatural. As she turned teenager she began to become more enveloped in music and even has tryed to start a band various times, however she failed everytime.

Weapon: Sealing Staff and a Jitte

Magic: Spiritual (hope that is ok)

Other: She always carries around her handmade doll

Mikuru-chan

objection!
Name: Kiwi Mitsuko [Grandmother's surname was Chang]
Age: 16
Gender: Female

Description: Kiwi has a peachy skin-complexion to which her face appears to be glowing and full of life. She has flowing russet-brown hair that reaches to her shoulders. Her bangs range from a slanted position on the right side of her head to a small stub on the left, part of this obscures her viridian eyes that are to say the least, pupiless. Kiwi keeps her eyes protected by her unruly bangs with her lime-trimmed spectacles that enable her to see clearly. At the base of her hair, lies an emerald ribbon that keeps about one inch of hair at bay.

Now, you could easily conclude that Kiwi absoulutely adores the color of green and yes, there is more to it. For her top, Kiwi harnesses a once again, pine tunic with a collar on the upper. The collar sports a chalky tie which has sage-green polka dots splattered onto it. She wears flared jeans that seem a tad to large for her, as both of them can easily flapp under to reveal her underwear. At the end her herself, she usually walks barefoot and only sometimes wears waraji.

Kiwi is petite, and stands at a short height for her average age. In paltry details, Kiwi also sports two bells along the side of jeans and they are just for show and when moving, they are almost completely silent except for the tingling echo of it. Around Kiwi's wrist lies a string bracelet of the color raven, it was given to her by her father and is a memory of him. In her hair are two barrettes, that are a chartreuse color and are shaped of a flower.

Personality: Kiwi is an optimistic girl, and it can easily be proclaimed. She's upbeat and perky, and always ready to cracka quirk at the worst time though. Kiwi is seemingly naive for her own good and is one of those, ooh what does this button do? And she'd blow half of Europe, this is the way that Kiwi is curious but not stupid. Kiwi is one that plays the blues when she's bitter and finds it as a way to relax her emotions. To be one agronomy, you would need to be patient and tolerant, which is exactly what Kiwi is. She can become a bit mousy at times when blood is shown, but now, it is only minor hemophobia. Kiwi has also developed some abberant fears, such as anatidaephobia, fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you. You could easily come to the fact that Kiwi is blindly optimistic, but can come to the fact that she's intelligent, and a strategist, behind the naive exterior. Kiwi in her past life, was often known as a motherly figure and shy, and has taken on a little bit of her past character still now, she has the heart of a lion, but the body of a mouse.

History: Kiwi was always one of those that was teased about her, she was known as "the ghost," because of her once-pale skin, and her bland chestnut was no help at all. She always lived in the shadows of her two sisters, dubbed Takara and Tsuki, the treasure and the moon. Her parents hardly let her out, this is what became of her pale-complexion and dull hair, she was only let out on school days, and was taught the trade of the mother, keeping the house clean, she soon became a motherly figure to her sisters.

But that all changed.

But that all changed, when Kiwi met Ichigo, on one afternoon after school, Kiwi was pacing back home when. All of a sudden, a girl with scarlet-red hair, and viridian eyes bumped into Kiwi and she dropped her books. Kiwi stopped to help pick them up, and was greeted with a big, smiling face of Ichigo.

"Konichiwa!" Ichigo cried as Kiwi let out a small "Eep," and droped her books once again, "Gomen, gomen for making you drop your books!" Every sentence she ended in was in an exclamation, and she was blindly optimistic.

After that small incident, Kiwi had began to hang out with Ichigo more and more, letting her skin and hair out into the sun, it began contrasting and became healthier. She let her out out every day and took the time to pick out vibrant clothes, and all of this was because of Ichigo, a clutz, an optimistic girl, and most importantly a life-changing friend.

Since then, Kiwi has been interested in stuff that no one has even mentioned to her before, she plays the saxophone daily and has played the blues most of the time. Kiwi has also become interested in the supernatural, but still doesn't take a big interest into it. Because of Ichigo, Kiwi has become an optimistic girl with Ichigo as her rolemodel and one that can be dubbed as "a girl with a big heart and imagination," one that takes a good outlook on life, she is Kiwi Rukia Mitsuko, one that is optimistic.

Weapon: Sealing staff, a small pocket-knife which holds many contraptions, such as scissors, a knife, and a cork-screw, this resides in Kiwi's back pocket.

Magic: The power of light and dark; Kiwi always had had a small gift of when she gets a minor injury, it heals. But this only works on ones such as nosebleeds, scabs, and small scrapes. Also, Kiwi can see in the dark, a gift that is much like a cat, her powers are limited and if she tries alot more, she'll lose energy and might even faint.

Burning Effigy

A Hollow Being
Name:Len Reed

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Description: Len is 6'0, and has a tanned skin tone. His eyes are a deep shade of emerald. He has high cheekbones, and a small nose. He has stunning brown hair that he keeps out of his face with a headband. The headband is blue with wavy stripes. He wears a plain blue short-sleeved shirt. He covers up the shirt with a black coat. On the collar of the coat and around the zipper there is a blue stripe. Len also wears a pair of loose black jeans with blue stripes running horizontally down the pant legs. Len's favorite thing that he never takes off is a necklace passed down through his family. The necklace has a mini European style sword with a small emerald pommel stone, and a sapphire blade with a golden hilt.

Personality: After the accident Len has always been upbeat. He is always smiling about something. His spirits are almost always up. He isn't very good at making other people happy, and he often ends up annoying them by how he acts. Len almost never says what he really thinks. Truthfully he likes to be by himself, but just ended up around a lot of people. This lead him fake his feelings, and now almost never speaks his mind. He is fascinated by anything out of the ordinary. That is one of the reasons he is fascinated by the sea and the creatures in its depths. Len is always polite, but isn't much of a help to anybody else.

History: Len grew up in an average family. His parents were nothing special, with average jobs. The only member of his family that was interesting was his strange grandma, but he never got to visit her. When his parents put him in school he did well, but never got along well with the other kids. When he was ten his family took a vacation to the beach. When he went out into the ocean he was caught in a riptide and sucked under the water. Len was under the water for ten minutes, but he was fine he was enjoying himself. The lifeguard dragged him out of the water and Len just smiled and laughed. His parents thought he was going to die. They took him to the hospital and kept him there overnight just to make sure nothing was wrong. While he was there his grandma visited him. She just looked at him with a knowing smile, and gave him the beautiful necklace he never takes off. After that Len always seemed happy. Now he is getting ready to start Senior high school.

Weapon: Sealing Staff and the sword in his necklace wich activates when elemental magic is applied.

Magic: Elemental Magic

Hoprefully, this is alright. I had to hurry this because *points to above* he kind of "challenged" my spot. :) So there might be a few mistakes here. This might be one of the only characters that I based so much on myself. /aside from having magic and that my mother's side aren't martial artists. (Some of them are though...)

Other than that I hope I did alright. I don't know about the K.I.S.S. So whatever it means, I covered. If a bit.

Name: Hiroshi Reed

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Description: He’s of considerable average height, weighing as average he could get. His brown hair is swept into the line of his empty amber eyes, with which often, he finds easy to pretend in any way. His mouth is usually kept in its neutral line, though for him, smiling is easier than frowning. Being accustomed to wearing covered clothing, his skin is of a pale sort, unexposed to much sun, even if he spends half the day outside. His clothes, as stated before, are long—sleeved, resulting in him choosing light colors for hot days, or with a black coat when it’s unusually cold. Hiroshi is one of the ones who stick their hands in their pockets whenever able, so his dark pants are usually riddled with them. He also wears regular clean sneakers that tell most people that he was discreet to not roam around in puddles.

Personality: Hiroshi’s personality can be described in one word: pessimistic. While he can alter a possibility of something happening as the way he could have it due to his lineage, he never has high hopes about his expectations coming true, and even if it does, he would pass it as pure luck. With his serious upbringing, his heart is like ice turning into water; he is willing to be friendly and social to more strangers. Though Hiroshi can be out—going and seemingly carefree, his pessimistic way of thinking usually churns up strange results, or possibilities. Thus, he also voices his concerns bluntly and carelessly, so many don’t heed his warning. [For example, he could say they would fall while swinging on a branch, and then, they’d maybe fall or not.] He also stays away from any sort of contact, with good intentions or bad; it makes him feel rather insecure.

On the issue of his intellect, due to studying too much, he's not street smart in any way. His also ignorant about teens' strange habits, though try to go along. He's also suspicious of the dark (in other words scared of it), and would avoid going out after eight.

History: Hiroshi comes from a family proficient in martial arts, (it’s his mother’s side, and his father’s the inheritor of Contract Magic) but even though he might get in an attack or two with his decency in it, he’d probably just avoid it altogether. His upbringing was harsh, daily runs every day, practicing moves over and over, until he finally decided that his fate lay elsewhere, all the more because he strangely felt empty while practicing the art. After four years of that education since he was six and with his grades taking a deep dive because of the harsher curriculum, he concentrated on his school work even so. He had taken advantage of his retentive memory and had never studied for tests, only preparing through the notes he was told in class.

Two years after he wrestled with his mad schedule (studying for this test, reviewing for that test), a comment from a friend made way to him that he was “popular” back in the when, back when he didn’t have any pressures of anything. He felt a part of him that longed for more friends, maybe perhaps being friendlier or more cooperative. But six years of being aloof in his school life had created a problem: Hiroshi couldn’t just jump back into the school life he once had. Middle school was harder than grade school when attaining friends and actually keeping them. It was a slow process, but four years later, Hiroshi Reed saw that he had changed, if a bit: lounging and relaxing his anxiety—less life.

Weapon: Just a Sealing Staff. Naturally, he hates fighting; besides, he reasoned, the police/patrollers would confiscate weapons anyway. Fingers and fists, if it ever comes to it.

Magic: Contract Magic; he mainly uses incantations when necessary, even though they might not always work, or never since he had excluded it from his life. He’ll try use complex spells, but doesn’t understand them, so it’d be worth nearly nothing.

Other: He likes sweets. It makes his mouth water.

So, I hope that's alright. I edited it to make him seem less of a Gary-Stu. >< It's hard when you try to model a character after yourself.

Okie dokie, time to sort things out.

Kazuki Yukimura: Over a week had past since your reservation. Plus I don't think I creally know you well enough to give you a Reservation. So Reservation Denied

crystal-zephyr: You choose Mizuki for your ancestry and Miara Mizuki specialised in CONTRACT MAGIC not "Spiritual" if you read correctly. Plus I found your Sign-Up a tad bit lacking. So Rejected

Jellybeans: Good, good. Accepted

hyoga: Sorry but Literate reserved the Reed Spot before you. Plus I found Literate's Sign-Up superior to yours so Rejected.

Literate: Everything seems to be fine. Accepted. Oh and K.I.S.S. is one of the RPG Rules made by Lady Myuu. It stands for "Keep It Simple Stupid" A pretty self-explanatory rules. XD

Joshua - Shadow Brigadier

Well-Known Member
Hope this is up to the standard you're looking for. I've always wanted to try for a Cardcaptors RP.

Name: Joshua Mizuki

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Description: Joshua’s eyes are kinda… hard to describe, as different people tend to tell him different things about them, varying from green to blue to grey to varying mixes of two or all three colours. His hair would make a very good mop head, often uncontrollable and all over the place, though if he laid down on a beach, his sandy blonde hair would disappear from sight. He is stocky, not really much of a runner because of his build, with a small gut and stocky thighs. A small scar runs across his eye, a scar he can’t remember why it exists, or how it didn’t cut his eye. He often wears loose fitting clothing (usually varying shades of blue, green, black or purples. Never seen in pink, unless FORCED TO), as he thinks anything tight around the waist makes him look fat, although on special occasions he'll don a pair of blue or black jeans with a t-shirt.

Personality: Joshua is shy and bashful around new people, often unable to look someone in the eye during conversation, often stuttering or lost for words when talking to new people. However, he is fiercely loyal to those who can earn his friendship, often inconveniencing himself to help his friends. He has a very bad temper, often losing his head over nothing if he hasn’t slept enough, and considers himself to be of moderate intelligence, able to solve most riddles and puzzles that are presented to him. He likes to be challenged, and often will try different methods to solve the same puzzle. He doesn’t like being the centre of attention, but he is confident enough in himself to not crumble under pressure, and he has an annoying tendency to try and predict someone’s movements, trying to read people like a book.

History: Joshua was brought up to value his intelligence, trained by his mother from an early age to be able to understand things considered complex for his age. He never knew his father, and his mother became distant and silent when he brought the subject up. His mother also refused to discuss his scar, but it often fascinated Joshua, causing him to stare endlessly at it in the mirror.

From the age of three, Joshua had to deal with the upsets of having a younger sister, Yuna often occupying a great deal of his mother’s time, so he’d have to entertain himself. He found himself obsessed with weaponry at the age of eight, trying to teach himself swordsmanship with wooden branches he’d find on the way home. This stopped, however, after he smacked himself in the shoulder one day, shattering the bones in his left shoulder. It was at this point that his mother presented him with his grandfather’s bow, and Joshua integrated archery into his physical rehabilitation, Yuna often watching in awe.

Weapon: Oaken bow, which he carries with him whenever he legally can... and the Sealing Staff, of course.

Magic: Joshua has the uncanny ability to be able to read into people’s actions, making guesses into why they did what they did. It is a suppressed thought that it may be a minor form of telepathy, but he simply shrugged that thought off, since magic doesn’t exist (or so he thinks). He also seems to have the ability to foresee pain, but since it seems to only happen about three seconds before any pain occurs, he simply believes any ‘foresight’ to be his brain muddled up by pain.

Other: Joshua is fiercely protective of Yuna, unwilling to hear any wrongs about her. This is not helped, however, by Yuna’s popularity with the boys, and her careless attitude towards her own safety.

If you need a RP sample, just ask.

Joshua

La Melancolie Noir
Aww, I really wanted to be the Mizuki descendant... Oh well, I'll try, but if I don't get that spot, I'd like to reserve the Takaishi spot instead. So if this doesn't work out, I'll play Ari's brother or something instead...

Name: Ari Hakuremu
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Description: From looking at Ari you can sort of tell that she spends more time sitting in front of some sort of screen than exercising or just spending time outside. First of all, her skin is a pale almond colour, so she doesn't really have a tan. Second, she wears glasses. Third, her figure is definitely not muscular. She's not overweight or underweight either--one could say she's just somewhere in the middle of all that. Anyways, Ari's hair is supposed to be black, but it takes on sort of a grayish or bluish tint at the strangest times. And there's really nothing special about it otherwise--it's straight, shoulder-length, and some of it falls near her eyes but not in her face. And her eyes are dark gray in colour, though in some lights they look blue or even purple. (When she's on the computer, they would definitely look purple.) Anyways, aside from that, Ari is about five feet tall. And as far as what she wears, she prefers dark colours as she looks better in them, especially blues, purples, grays, or blacks. (She thinks green is too weird-looking, as is any light colour.) Also, she never wears short-sleeved shirts except in hot weather, and she never ever wears dresses or skirts. Usually she wears a jacket in any weather, and she usually wears the same blue hat as well.
Personality: All her life Ari has been a computer freak--she loves spending time on the computer above all things. Though she's not as eccentric as that stereotype is, she is as intelligent. Standing out really isn't one of her specialties, so this could possibly be a factor in her rather low charisma. However, she is quite confident in herself, and she won't accept being weak or feeling left behind. She's not extremely confident--a little modesty shows--just enough to generally feel good about herself. This does not make her very vengeful, quite oddly--if someone puts her down, she'll try to find a creative way to prove that what that person said is not true. She's pretty much concerned about her reputation a little, but she's not the type that brags about what she can do. So she tries to please herself without hurting others. As far as other things go, she is basically a loner and is not compatible with pretty much any type of relationship. She prefers to do things her own creative way and also do them herself. In general she's hard to please and doesn't trust others easily. She doesn't really express herself that much either, nor show any extreme emotion.
History: Ari lived in Tomoeda all her life, with a family that was caring on some ways and not so much in other ways. Both of her parents had careers that they spent quite a bit of time in, both of which hapened to be in the technological field. Her father was good at fixing computers and programming them as well, and he also taught a class at the Tomoeda University in computer programming. Her mother had a job in a cell phone company, so she dealt with handling the various services that cell phone customers had. And Ari... well, let's just say she didn't spend that much time with her parents. But fortunately, she did have an older brother who called himself Gon. Gon was five years older than Ari, and the two siblings got along very well together. Often times while their parents were working, Gon and Ari went out to explore the town a bit. They would play in the park, venture into shops, and other fun stuff--but they rarely did any of this to cause mischief. They were just not the kind of kids to turn into gangsters or something at a later age. It was a happy life for the two of them, even after they both started enrolling in elementary school.

Over time, Gon really got into anime, and Ari really started to like doing stuff on the computer. Ari spent much of her time on online RPG's, for she didn't like chatting with other people or researching stuff. And also, Gon was into video games, and many of his favourites were anime-based. So really, Gon and Ari had similar interests, but as they got more into these interests, they started spending less and less time with each other...

Gon became his parents' favourite. When he got older, he graduated high school and attended the very university his dad taught at, and even took the class he taught. And plus, he often went either with his dad or his mom to work or just... other places, little family trips. Ari very seldom went on these family trips; she usually spent most of her time by herself, much of which was on the computer. And she never spent time with friends either, as she had none. Gon was really the only person she ever felt really comfortable with; all others just... weren't right.

In high school, Ari did pretty well in most of her classes. Math and science were her absolute best subjects, and she was usually the top of her class in a math class. In her history classes though, she usually got B's, and a couple times she got a C or an A-. This was clearly her worst subject. And, there were many times when she faltered on group projects, or chose to work by herself instead of in a group. If she ever got teased by her peers, it was either in her math class for being "too smart", or in PE for looking awkward in her gym clothes or for not being so good at sports. (She never liked sports anyway.) And plus, she was never in high school with Gon at the same time. It was kind of stressful, but there would be one miraculous day in the near future that would change all that...

Weapon: A sealing staff (which is lavender in colour with a blue star on top, if they're allowed to look different), that's basically it. Ari doesn't need any other weapons to go with her abilities.
Magic: The second sight, being a distant relative of the Mizuki family. For now, Ari is quite a bit more intuitive that the average person. She can usually tell when someone is telling a lie, and there have been a few moments when Ari knew a little factoid about a person, and she didn't know how she knew it... Ari can use telekinesis on a very small scale, being able to move nothing bigger than a marble no more than a centimeter from its original position.
Other: As I probably mentioned before, the only exception to Ari being a loner is that she and her brother Gon are very close. There have been a coupe rumors about Gon and Ari being together (as in boyfriend/girlfriend), even.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again, I can change Ari's descended family from Mizuki to Takaishi if needed be. I just thought this was more appropriate for her.
Joshua - Shadow Brigadier / Kiruria: Okay, this is how I'm going to decide how gets the covetted Mizuki spot. You will both give me a RP Sample of your character's first day in Senior High School (In Japan, there's Junior High and Senior High). I don't care what happens during this Sample but the person with the better Sample overrall, description, spelling, grammar, creativity and such will win the Mizuki spot. If Joshua wins, then the Takaishi spot will be Reserved for Kiruria. If Kiruria gets the Mizuki spot, then the Takaishi spot will Reserved for JoJo@210.
The Sample must be posted as soon as possible.
La Melancolie Noir
It was a cool morning near the end of summer. The weather was quite pleasing this time of year--the sun was out, and the streets were still a little wet from last night's rainstorm. The time was 6:30 AM in Tomoeda, and in one particular household, the liveliness of the day was already beginning to unfold.
It was the Hakuremu residence, where two sleepy-eyed parents sat in the family room, drinking tea and/or reading the newspaper, and their son and daughter got their things together for the school day ahead.
"Whose car are we taking this time?" Gon asked as he picked up a rather heavy book bag.
"Might as well be mine," Ari offered. "Its tires need to be cleaned, and what better way to do it than driving on a wet street?"
With that, Ari picked up the last of her belongings: a pink plush toy in the shape of a cat.
"What is that?" Gon stammered, pointing at the plushie.
"This girl named Akiko wants it back," Ari mentioned without much interest. "For some reason she gave it to me last year."
Gon merely shrugged as he and Ari headed to the garage.
About half an hour later, Ari was on the road. She was the only one in the car this time, as she had just dropped off Gon at the university. Now, she was about to come to a stop at a traffic light, where she had to turn left on the street that led into her school...
"Hey Ari!" a group of girls called from another car next to her, just while she was turning.
"Did you find my pink kitty?" teased one of the girls, who Ari recognized as Akiko. Ari just paid no attention to them, as she didn't want to crash the car somewhere out of distraction. Indeed, before Ari completed her turn, a gray cat came running out across the street. Had Ari not seen where she was going and braked, she would have run over the poor kitty.
What fools, Ari thought as she drove on. The answer is that I do have the plushie. And then she decided to smile, for it was the first day of school. She was even wearing her favourite outfit: a dark blue denim jacket, long gray pants, black boots, and of course her favourite blue hat. This really reflected her personality, which certainly wasn't the least bit "pink".
Later on, Ari was sitting at a desk in a classroom. This was history, her suspected least favourite class of all. And her teacher, Mr. Kawaishi, didn't sound like he'd make the subject sound better either. Anyways, Ari was sitting right next to a window, which she occasionally glanced out of while Kawaishi wasn't talking about anything interesting. At this particular moment, the class was supposed to be doing a book assignment (on the first day of school?!?), but Ari had just finished that. Most of the other students were still working.
Yes, and there's Akiko, the girl that was in the other car... I bet she'll finish close to last--she must be pretty slow to work up to nerve this morning.
Ari glanced at the plushie that was in her lap, then out the window again. To her surprise, a gray cat was standing on a ledge right outside the window, its paw right up against the glass. This was the same cat that Ari had avoided running over before! Fortunately, Ari was much softer on animals than people, so she casually put her finger on the glass where the cat's paw touched from the other side.
"Nyaa," Ari whispered as quietly as possible. "You shouldn't go running out in front of a car like that..."
"Ari?" It was Mr. Kawaishi. Ari quickly turned away from the cat to face the teacher. He was giving her a stern look, as he didn't particularly like students who played with cats while they were supposed to be working.
"Oh, I'm done with the assignment already," Ari explained.
"Then you can use your time to study for this Friday's test," Kawaishi reprimanded.
It's Monday, so I have plenty of time, Ari said to herself. Then she just looked back at her assignment, pretending to study.
"We shall see how you do on the exam," Kawaishi threatened as he turned away from Ari. "Now everyone, get back to work!"
The girl named Akiko giggled and looked at Ari's plushie, still barely visible between her lap and her desk.
OOC: Oh well, I guess someone has to post the RP sample first.
OOC: I hope this turns out ok, as I'm not entirely sure about any school systems outside my country, so anything posted here will be a mixture of what I'm used to, and what I could gleam from watching the anime.
Eyes of indecipherable shades flickered in all directions as he walked along the cement pavement, his chest fluttering up and down in time with his erratic breathing. A celestial smile beat down on him through solar salutations, but all the beaming rays did was heat up the pavement, forcing the nervous teen to raise his line of sight from the ground below.
His thoughts trailed to his schoolbag which hang casually from one shoulder in a futile attempt to seem as though he was unconcerned about today's events, but his eyes told a completely different story, fear lunging from his gaze like a starved lion. He walked stiffly, trying to find the balance between the traditional 'nerd' who runs to school so as not to miss any moment of class, and the 'cool jock' who walks slowly so as to seem 'cool' by strutting into class late and irritating the staff.
"I wish I'd brought my bow," he thought to himself, missing the cool feeling of the sapphire-coloured quiver strapped across his back, large enough to hold his unstrung saviour along with a few arrows. He had never really known his grandfather, the bow's original owner, but with the bow within reach, he felt as though he could feel his grandfather's presence, a silent protector watching him.
He shook his head violently, desperate to clear such thoughts from his mind, his eyes wild with panic as his gaze latched onto his shoulder, the vivid scars veiled by his current attire. Yet the hidden physical evidence could not blink back the memories, the torrent of emotions which flooded from his mind, threatening to drag him back to the despair of his past psyche...
"Big Bro? Are you okay?" Snapped out of his nightmarish reverie, his eyes meet up with hers. Not much shorter than he was, Yuna Mizuki stared up at her older brother, her emerald green eyes sparkling with intermingling curiosity and worry, her blonde hair sparkling in the sun's gaze.
He forced himself to smile, gently placing one hand on his sister's shoulder. "Don't you worry about me, Yuna." He looked ahead, to the Junior High School. Memories threaten to come flooding back, but he fought them back with every ounce of his strength, returning his attention to his little sister.
"Go on, Mum will kill me if you're late." Yuna cast him one last glance, as if asking whether he really was okay, before strutting away towards her school. He watched her as she left, envious of her carefree attitude and exuberant confidence. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts once more, he tore his gaze from his old school, and, inhaling deeply to try and calm himself, Joshua Mizuki began the trek towards the Senior High School.
Each step seemed like a declaration of doom, and he cast his thoughts to his outfit in order to drive off the panic. He hadn't been able to contact the school in regards to uniform (he hadn't even been sure if the school had a uniform code), so he'd chosen his more casual clothes to try not to stand out, just a simple pale blue shirt and baggy black pants. He was, however, regretting the pants at this moment, the sun heating his legs like a rotisserie. "Someone turn me over, I'm almost done on this side," he thought to himself, a smile finally breaking out on his face from his wit.
As he stepped through the gate into the school, his heart soared at the nerve-gratting sound which echoed throughout the school, the school bell sounding more like a half-dead vulture then a musical chime. He quickened his pace, heading for the main building, but he almost found himself dead in his tracks. Never had he seen such a mass of writhing life, the corridors almost packed with people. His eyes stole a glance to a noticeboard, and to his relief it told him his class and where he was now to meet for assembly.
He slunk into the classroom, avoiding the gaze of the people already seated. It was hard enough progressing from the Junior High to the Senior High in his eyes, but it was almost crippling to know he was here without her... His eyes threatened to well with tears as thoughts of Ally rose to mind, but he shook his head to regain his composure, and watched as the teacher strutted into the room.
It seemed as though time had stopped, casting a swift glance around the room to find several students able to do naught but stare and drool. He couldn't help but be judgmental, shaking his head without moving before returning his attention to the teacher. She wore a matching ensemble of cherry pink, a two-piece dress with a buttoned blazer and short skirt highlighting her figure. He considered her to be in her early 20s, her long flowing hair of chestnut draped loosely over her shoulders, and as she gazed around the room with her eyes of violet night, Joshua could understand the other student's urge to stare, although he wasn't sure how she was coping so well, since he couldn't count the amount of students who were staring at her chest on one hand.
"Good morning class," she spoke, a soft musical voice which seemed to echo throughout the classroom and hum inside the very core of Joshua's being. "Perhaps this year won't be so bad after all," he thought to himself.
"My name is Miss Taylor, and I will be your teacher for this year in the subjects of Science, History and Arts. I am also the teacher responsible for your grade, so we will meet here each morning so I may mark attendance and discuss items of importance." The boys Joshua could see out of the corner of his eye simply nodded, and he knew that not one of them had actually heard what she had said.
She sat down behind a large oaken desk at the front of the room, and began to call attendance. This, it seemed, was what the girl's had been waiting for, for when each of the 'droolers' names were called, one of the girls would jab them sharply in the ribs, a high-ptiched yelp answering Miss Taylor's call.
Joshua noticed several students cast him a glance when his name was called, but he couldn't understand why. Nothing sprang to mind as to why he would be known here already... He shrugged it off, and continued to listen to Miss Taylor as she finished marking attendance.
"Now, we have a few things to get through today, so pay attention please..." Joshua found himself tuning out, his mind simply losing cohesion for a few moments, before he realised that everyone was getting up to leave, and he glanced down at his desk to see a schedule sitting in front of him. He scooped it up from the desk, and followed the rest of his grade out to their first class.
OOC (again): I'm really sorry about this, but I've run outta time, and I've gotta get offline. If this isn't enough, say so, and I can finish this off sometime soon. I just wanted to get this up today, since I'm not sure if I'll be able to get online here at all again today.
Apologies if this is inconvenient,
Joshua
EDIT: Well, I'm back. Do you want me to finish up this post, or is this enough to judge on? Please post or PM me your response.
