I thought this show was pretty neat and it was also a nice way to start a new thread..so yea! this show is pretty nifty! come say something about it!...-_-' ^_^
Yeah, but he wasn't really homosexual - he was just attracted to him because of his magic. Which was removed from the dub.MidnightScott said:I heard in the original Lee had homosexual tendencies toward Tory's(sp?) best friend.

WB did show all the "dubbed" episodes, but they rushed through the last 15 or so of them.
Cardcaptor Sakura originally ran for 4 seasons in Japan and spanned 70 episodes and 2 movies. The first two seasons is often referred to as the "Clow Cards" chapter as it consists of Sakura's escapades to obtain all the clow cards. The second chapter, consisting of the final two seasons, features Sakura's attempt to convert the Clow Cards into Sakura cards(as she is now the new master of the cards) before they lose their power.
There were lots of "homosexual" relationships in Cardcaptor Sakura. The most obvious, of course, is Touya's(Sakura's bro) relationship with Yukito(Yue). There is also much speculation that Tomoyo(Madison) was infatuated with Sakura and then there's Li's crush on Touya. These relationships are rather normal and accepted in Japan, however, stateside, we consider it a taboo.
All in all, it's a good anime.
True, but Nelvana did give Sakura Avalon a very very bad voice that sounded like a 16 year old (unlike the sweet sounding 10 year old voice Sakura Kinomoto did). Not to mention having her acting like a very stereotypical one.Cutiebunny said:As I recall, Sakura Kinomoto was still a 10 yr-olrd in the dub as well.
No, it didn't end incomplete Nevela (sp?) did dub the very last episode. The series continues in the second movie, where Sakura finally gets a chance to confess her love to Syaoran.Phosphate said:I remember Cardcaptors. It was fun to watch, but episodes were skipped BADLY, were out of order, and the show ended incomplete.

Though Nelvana didn't dub the second movie, Bang Zoom! did. Who did a much better dubbing job than them. So, in a sense, Nelvana didn't really "complete" the whole series.![]()
