Heh i love it also, cute characters, amazing voice cast, and cuz it's anime. A shame it became CARDCAPTORS here in the us. Innocent 10yr old Sakura Kinomoto became bratty mean 16yr old Sakura Avalon. And the same for the other cast. Also try not to doubble post kay?

I never would've known it was edited unless I went on the internet. I liked it and all. I heard in the original Lee had homosexual tendencies toward Tory's(sp?) best friend.

I miss that show. I guess it didn't last very long. I never got to see any of the movies. It was like my 2nd favorite anime at its time.

No, they dubbed the last few episodes too (but still skipped a few). So, it ended.

I liked this one when I was a kid. I was planning to buy the boxed set of DVDs of this anime via online. I think there are 2 movies now. It used to be on tv at KidsWB every sunday few years ago, along with Monster Ranchers (I hate that show).

Yeah, but he wasn't really homosexual - he was just attracted to him because of his magic. Which was removed from the dub.

Thank GOD Geneon/Pioneer released original, uncut and subbed DVDs or I would've DIED.

As I recall, Sakura Kinomoto was still a 10 yr-olrd in the dub as well.

WB did show all the "dubbed" episodes, but they rushed through the last 15 or so of them.

Cardcaptor Sakura originally ran for 4 seasons in Japan and spanned 70 episodes and 2 movies. The first two seasons is often referred to as the "Clow Cards" chapter as it consists of Sakura's escapades to obtain all the clow cards. The second chapter, consisting of the final two seasons, features Sakura's attempt to convert the Clow Cards into Sakura cards(as she is now the new master of the cards) before they lose their power.

There were lots of "homosexual" relationships in Cardcaptor Sakura. The most obvious, of course, is Touya's(Sakura's bro) relationship with Yukito(Yue). There is also much speculation that Tomoyo(Madison) was infatuated with Sakura and then there's Li's crush on Touya. These relationships are rather normal and accepted in Japan, however, stateside, we consider it a taboo.

All in all, it's a good anime.

Syaoran had a crush on Yukito not Touya, and it was only because he was attracted to Yikuto's magacial powers.

True, but Nelvana did give Sakura Avalon a very very bad voice that sounded like a 16 year old (unlike the sweet sounding 10 year old voice Sakura Kinomoto did). Not to mention having her acting like a very stereotypical one.

I remember Cardcaptors. It was fun to watch, but episodes were skipped BADLY, were out of order, and the show ended incomplete.

I like Cardcaptor Sakura. I think the dubbers sorta butchered CCS when they made Cardcaptors. I saw the original CCS and its way better than Cardcaptors.

No, it didn't end incomplete Nevela (sp?) did dub the very last episode. The series continues in the second movie, where Sakura finally gets a chance to confess her love to Syaoran.

Nelvana. :p

Though Nelvana didn't dub the second movie, Bang Zoom! did. Who did a much better dubbing job than them. So, in a sense, Nelvana didn't really "complete" the whole series. :p

:p You got me there. I somewhat wish that someone would re-dub the anime, using the Bang Zoom! cast. Though everytime I hear Touya's dub voice in the second movie, I think of Cyborg 002 from the anime Cyborg 009. =^^=;;
