Let's face it, Cartoon Network sucks these days. If I were them, I would rename it "Cable Network" (same initials, new name). I know it may not sound that much of a good channel name, but if they contenue to NOT show the old Pokemon episodes (pre-Advanced), Dexter's Laboratory, and all of the other classics, and even if they still don't deside to renew Futurerama's syndacation rights, I'm going to be so pisted off. I stopped watching CN since 2005 (full time anyways). I used to watch it all the time until like around late 2004 (shortly after the relaunch).
Plus, we still don't have Boomerang in our area (fuckin' Comcast!) Cable sucks these days! Beleve me, cable companies (including Comcast) would likely pull the plug and drop the channel for good if CN contenues to not behave.
Plus, alot of other existing theme-based cable channels are trying to mix the theme. Most of these channels are between 10-30 years old, and after awhile, that probly explains why they are showing "miss matched themed" shows. For example, has anyone seen Epic Conditions on The Weather Channel in the U.S.? The show talks about extreme sports, not weather!
Besides, cable rates are also rising, more and more Comcast buyout takeovers are happening, and cable channels are running out of good ideas to show programs. That's why brodcast is better, and it gets higher ratings, and it's all for free, and it's even portable too -- unlike cable!
Besides, nowadays, I only watch news and sports.
More good cartoons, no anime and live action shows and movies! Save it for the Disney Channel!
