Casual battle mode for Pokemon Switch online battles.

Should the new Switch game have a non competitive mode for online battles?

I have seen a lot of casual players being turned of by Pokemon online play just because they don't want to put in the work required to breed Pokemon to go and actually stand a chance of winning in an online game and some don't like it because they don't get to use their main in-game team online. This would be especially true for the Switch game since most possible buyers of the game would be casual players of Pokemon and haven't had exposure to the online meta and mechanics which would be a huge turn of to them to play online.

A solution to this would introducing 2 battle modes for online play. One with every competitive aspect of Pokemon in the meta and a casual mode where those aspects are removed.

To make things easier for casual players IVs, EVs, items (probably), would be ignored in casual mode and any competitively viable Pokemon brought to this mode will have those aspects that make them useful ignored and make it a level playing field for those who are casual players.

Now the question is with the casual mode what reason would players have to play the competitive mode? The people who love to play competitive will be willing to continue to play it but what about the players that played competitive because they had no choice and the players who would never play competitive how are you supposed to get them to put in the necessary work the play the competitive format, a good solution to this would be giving the players rewards. Rare items and legendaries would be a nice reward for the players and rewards could be given in a leader board format that updates every season or month.

Ex.
Top 100 players - Prize:nuggets
Top 50 players - Prize:Master ball
Top 20 players - Special Pokemon
Top 5 players - Special Legendary
Top player - Special character costume.

Also players could be giving performance rewards with battle points like sweeping a team with one Pokemon would give you 20 BP.

Another solution to this would be to communicate to the players more openly about how to train a competitive team. Gen 6/7 made huge improvements that made it pretty reasonable to train teams pretty quickly, but without already knowing which online sources to help guide you through those steps, it's extremely daunting. A few improvements to the process can still be made, but even with what we have, there isn't really a need for a new battle mode to split the community into even more fragments.

True the TPC and GF have had poor communication when it comes to teaching players how to prepare for the online pvp enviroment and the game doesn't prepare the players enough for the rude awakening they are going to have when they enter the Battle Spot. I suggested this solution in this thread https://forums.serebii.net/threads/gyms-trials-or-something-else.661991/

Making the gyms based on the competitive apects and strats in the meta game would be a nice change and would make the battles harder.

First gym teaching the concept of EVs
Second gym focuses on status moves
Third on setup moves
Fourth on abilities, natures etc.

and so on and this would teach new players the technical aspects of competitive battling while they play the game

Basically just teach the player how to battle online by adding it to the main game monotype gyms were fun but after years of wiping out gyms with one Pokemon the novelty wears off. Making the gyms more like the Battle Frontier would be a nice change of pace for the current formula of Pokemon. They have to change it they just have to refine it like they did for the battle system

But we also run into the problem of player not willing to put in the time to breed the perfect team for online play. For me I don't have Pokebank so I have to find a Ditto to breed everytime so I would probably have a battle ready team in about of week with break sessions while breeding and ditto hunting. And players with Pokebank who already have the resources would do this in less time but for new players who don't want to invest time to breed just to have a fair chance at winning online would probably be a little annoyed.
