Sigh. My nincada chain broke at 22 -_-
New chain is at 4.

I'm going to try another time being I go to sleep >_>

broke at 14 to Flaaffy.. hmmmmmm. Okay one more try before I gotta pass out ;D

Dunno what to chain nxt. If set a target, prolly wont get it. Actually what I wanted is shiny cacturne, not Hippowdon.

Hippowdon is so fugly, even its shiny form. Its eyes colour didnt change, still red,
*shrugs* why would I want 10 hippowdon in my PC.
Gonna keep one and send the rest to Mars.

Nincada are so.. uhh.. shy. Haha. I don't like how long their shinies took to show up..

I messed around with a random Floatzel chain after finding one while looking for Skitty.. but it broke to Gastrodon at 15 or so. Chain break from annoying pokémon = D:

Hmm, good job finding these patch formations, pimplup. I'll try to use them if I go chaining tomorrow. So, if two patches appear in the same row, its likely that they will break the chain?

This one is my favorite for some reason, and I had it posted before, without noticing that 1 and 4 aligned. Like I said before, the 4th rung patch continued the chain.
I have entered patterns similar to the examples many times and none have broken my chain. I have concluded that line patterns do not, and I repeat do NOT break your chain.

Have got my geodude chain up to 40 but been resetting for ages and no shiny patches. Am getting worried coz i only got 350 max repels left - he he.
What do you reckon i should do - stick on 40 or try and make the chain bigger?
Also i better check if geodudes can self destruct or explode at level 22

You should probably stay at 40 unless you are so bored of resetting that you want to continue the chain.

Found out geodudes can self destruct at level 21. So looks like i'll have to waste a master ball if i ever meet one - he he

got completely frustrated chaining glameow again this morning, so took a break from it and randomly decided to try pidgey, and ended up with....

the most i've gotten out of 1 chain so far, and on the 1st try too, lol. ^^;; ended up with 2 males and 1 female, with natures jolly, timid and brave. haven't checked iv's or anything yet, but think i'll probably keep the jolly 1?... i could have gotten more since i still had more than 100 repels left, but i got tired and hungry and couldn't really be bothered chaining any more after that! ^^;

hmm, back to glameow now i think, although i don't think i have enough luck to get more than 3 shinies in the 1 day, lol! >.<

I was testing line patterns with the 4th rung patch aligned with another patch. You have patterns that don't have anything to do with the 4th rung patch, like the 2 and 3 on the same line for example. Most people go to the 4th rung patch anyway, and I was reassuring them that line patterns won't break their chains. Good finds, nonetheless.
 
I was testing all lined patterns. But from my experience, lined patterns which involve the 4th patch don't seem to break your chain if you enter the 4th patch, so you're most probably right, but I was just showing some of my research.

Hmm, in my chaining news, I broke a nincada chain at 23, but I'm not giving up.
