The Compromise
It's quite good, cdra! I like the drawings. It's better to insert the text instead of writing it yourself, though. You can draw a lot better than me, my last attempt at drawing a horse on paint left me with a really weird demented horse thingy. I especially like the pictures in the banner in your siggy.
If you don't mind, I would be delighted to create a nice snazzy banner for you with those images, as a little thank you for being a nice friend.

well you need to work on the eyes. i have now relised that to make it look like the pokemon the eyes are an importnt part. I'l look forward to seeing mor eof your art to see what you've done with the eyes. BTW The Suicune looks like the real one

Oh you're one to watch already seeing how you're able to take critism and try to keep getting beter rather than say youre perfect as is. That made me happy ya =) With the poportions and shaping, have you tried drawing the basic shapes of what youre drawing then making a outline? I never used to draw the basic shapes, just went straight to line art, the shapes make it so much easier to draw with correct porpotions now. And dont worry about the eyes too much, it takes time to find a good style that looks right. I really like the computer pictures btw.

Okay, time for some comments.
1) Arthium was good. Very good.
2) I like the ideas behind some. I emphasise ideas unforntunatly though.
3) You really need to work on tails. They change width constantly as you go along.
4) You're weakness is Pokemon. If you're really stuck, buy the FR/LG stratergy guide, it has the Sugimori art for the first 251 Pokemon, so can help you with proportions and details.
5) XD001 looks like a mildly annoyed normal Lugia. The main problem was you didn't change the head ornament, XD001's are far more sinister and blade like the Lugia's.
But yeah, you hand draw much better than I did just over half a year ago, keep practising, as you have, and you'll improve greatly. All I can say is if you're stuck with proportions, get reference material of what you want to draw and then practise drawing shown poses, like Sugimori art for Pokemon. It helps a lot. I improved my anime style art in about two months by doing that.
And frankly your computer art is better than anythng I could hope to do.
