Change a GFWL Arkham City to Steam

I bought Arkham City on a disk today, and within 3 hours, it's barely worked. GFWL has been having errors, and is working like absolute bull crap. Is there any way I can transfer it to run on Steam>?

No, you can't redeem it on Steam. And the Steam version requires GFWL anyway.

Yeah, it's dumb.

Damn

That sucks. Wait, even Steam Version requires GFWL?

Unfortunately, Arkham City has GFWL since the anti-piracy measure used for Asylum was quickly worked around with a patch. Rather than not removing it for Steam, it's still part of the game.

The game's PC port was delayed for a reason - it was a sloppy job from the start. This is one of those rare occasions you were better off with the console version. Though I'm sure there are patches out there that'll let you bypass GFWL (as there were for Dead Rising 2).

I'll look for patch, thanks!
