Chansey

I run into about 100 pokemon each safari game and only come across a chansey once or twice if im lucky. How do you catch this pokemon? I've tried everything. Throw a rock 1st turn it runs away. Another time i tried throwing bait 1st it ran away. The last time i just threw a safari ball at it and obviously it didnt get caught and it said its watching carefully and then runs away. No matter what i do first and in any order, it runs away. For those who have caught a chansey, can you please tell me how you did it? I also have trouble with kangaskan.

There is another place to catch one not in the safari zone. I do not remember where but it is easier.

well I dont think you can catch anywhere else...

Well, Ive done a couple of safari runs for that evasive chansey... id see about 2-3 per run and realised the best way to catch em, was just throw a pokeball at it. and throw another 1 if it didnt flee yet

im actually glad cuz the 3rd one I caught was holding a lucky egg, so that saved me a lot of annooying hunting time.

all I can say is good luck, cause thats all there is to it.

Not in FR/LG. The ONLY place to find Chansey is the Safari Zone. In R/B/Y you could catch one elsewhere, but not in these games.

These topics come up every once in a while and it's always the same answer: It's all about luck.

Some people catch Chansey using bait, some using rocks, some by just throwing Safari Balls like crazy. Unfortunately there's no easy way to do it. It took me about a week of searching to finally catch my one Chansey, others caught one on their first try. You'll end up getting a dozen different answers and then you'll finally catch one on your own.
