Charizard E4 Moveset

When you beat E4 with Charizard (if you chose him as your starter), what moves did you have when you hopefully swept the E4 off their feet? I want to prepare for a thrashing.

^no blast burn if you are gonna sweep thru E4. It only got 5 pp and u have to take a rest next turn, which might be the last turn of Charizard.
I gave Charizard Dragon Claw to beat Lance's dragons but it's kinda hard to beat Aerodactyl with Charizard.. too fast, and ancientpower/rockslide can kill charizard

Yeah, blast burn did make it a bit trickier. Probably not the best move to have.

Fire Blast with a PP Up used on it may be better though?

i just did this about a month ago actually, and you need to be at a VERY high level. i was around level 84 i believe, and i still fainted twice. but for movesets, you're best bet would be to go with:
flamethrower (you'll need the PP, fire blast even with a PP max isn't enough) use it on jynx, all of agatha, pidgeot, and exeggutor)
brick break- maybe not the most powerful but type coverage is almost exactly the same as steel wing/metal claw/iron tail, and it's 100% accurate; use it on everyone of lorelei's pokemon save jynx, onix, rhydon, and either this or dragon claw on aerodactyl
dragon claw- i wish i'd had this attack... use it on lance's entire team, they'll all die pretty quickly. you'll probably be lucky in that they'll use outrage which will limit their ability heal up
wing attack- bruno's fighters, alakazam, maybe blastoise, and arcanine (dragon claw is an option for him too, especially after an intimidate)

make sure you have plenty of revives and hyper potions and that you're at a very high level to stand a chance against blastoise. have at least 4 other pokemon with you to use at bait while you heal up zard.

It's been a long while since I used my Charizard in the pokemon leauge, but its moveset was:

Charizard
~Flamethrower
~Earthquake
~Dragon claw
~Fly

And yeah, I know it sucks, but I used this back in my newbie days, when I didn't know any better.

If I were smarter back then, its moveset would've been dragon dance, Earthquake, aerial ace, and overheat.
Eh, I don't care really...

Charizard
Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk) or Jolly (+Spd, -Sp. Atk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Fire Blast

Swords Dance tutor is on Island 7 I believe, use it to increase Attack and your ready to sweep things. Aerial Ace is there for a physical stab move. If you go with a -Sp. Atk nature use Fire Blast for the extra power.

Well, last night I stayed up to midnight to tromp all over the E4, and I saved after Lance, I lost to Gary the first time, turned the game off, on, and went on the murder him.

My moveset was:
Slash
Wing Attack
Flamerthrower
Dragon Rage
