Charizard, Lv. 46 (I restarted my firered version) Modest nature

Fly
Slash
Dragon Claw
Flamethrower

What's a good move I could substitute slash for? Because of my Charizard's modest nature, its attack stat SUCKS!

And I don't know a good attack to replace slash, um...Earthqauke maybe?

i don't really know since it is a modest nature and it's attack stat sucks i would say go with overheat hotheads moveset

by the way, to everyone suggesting bite on 'zard: QUIT IT. first of all, it's an egg move, so it's impossible to get on his starter. second of all, dark doesn't cover any really useful types. finally, it's only 60 power. neutral-effective flamethrower does more than SE Bite.

Dude you shouldn't have gone with Modest. I mean I love using it for the special attack, but I prefer the Mixed set.

Use Sunny day. If they get you under one third HP, Petaya and Blaze activate which gives Flamethrower a power of about 275.

well, i can explain why NOT to
first, what is the real point if charizard can take almost any pokemon out with 1 hit. Does charizard really need something like that
slash can be swiched with EQ and if you want fly could be swiched with AA or
RS. even though its attack isn't great they give it more options

Konion Champ, I'm at the crucial point right before the Elite Four realizing that my whole team is in the late 40's and I need to desperately train.

And I already gave my EQ TM to my Aerodactyl, the next rock move I have is Rock Tomb, which... nah.

Are there any good non-attacking moves I could teach it?
