I think a more appropriate question would be "How did Venusaur Master possibly miss the big, fat Spoiler sub forum". But then again, that could be said for the majority of posts that pop up around here these days, ne?

I don't know why they decided to give it Dragonbreath. It didn't function any differently to either Charizard's Flamethrower or it's totallyswipedfromTorkoalOverheat, so the addition was essentially pointless.
I suppose looking at it through their (the writer's) eyes, it makes Charizard look even more accomplished or something. And with the way people seem to lap that stuff up like milk from a dish, I guess it's beneficial to it's popularity or some bs.

Anime =/= games. It absolutely makes no sense why a Pokémon can all of a sudden no longer learn a move in the Advance games that they could in the old games. Lizardon lost its ability to use Dragonbreath in the games, as did Kingdra lose its ability to use Headbutt.

Because this is the anime, it wouldn't make any kinds of sense to have it not know a move it was capable of learning years before the Advance series kicked in.

The real question you should be asking is how the hell a Vibrava can use Supersonic? >_>

I think that ANY resemblance of trying to follow a current generation TM system should be disallowed from now on then. When that occurs, too much confusion arises from trying to make sense of it all because they go ahead and do something stupid ....like giving Dragonbreath to Charizard.

'Course, that ain't going to stop them from using the 4th Gen. TMs as soon as that generation kicks in. And hey, if we're lucky, maybe they'll pull a similar stunt like this again!

Sure it does. When it wants to. Why do you think we got so many freaking Ice Beams and Bullet Seeds and Iron Tails?

S.Suikun

Thank you, SPPf! :)
And Solar Beams and Hyper Beams and Seismic Tosses.

U 4 got Double Team

Yer, but double team is a useful move compared with the other overused ones.

And try not to speak in txt talk.

Yeah, ok!
Shadow Ball has been cropping up out of the woodwork in AG too.

Although I kind of like it, as in Kanto-Johto we almost never saw these powerful TM attacks, yet in AG the writers are giving some of the strongest attacks to the gangs Pokemon.

Skitty with Blizzard, Munchlax with Focus Punch and Solarbeam, Combusken with Mega Kick, etc.

Delcatty with Thunderbolt and such in that episode.

Solarbeam, Shadow Ball, Blizzard, Mega Kick, Double Team, Metronome (Which were only used by Clefairy, Clefable, Togepi and Togetic in the Anime till Munchlax).

And such. We need Mega Punch damnit.

That's true actually. There hasn't been a gang Mega Punch since Snorlax I don't think.

Charizard probably learned Dragonbreath by traning on Charicific Valley. Didn't he have Charizard use Dragonbreath during the Johto League? Scratch that, it used Dragon Rage I think.

Yeah, that was Dragon Rage. A much better design of the attack than the first one seen by Gyarados.

Dragon breath is a GSC TM (won by beating clair in the games) that Charizard can learn by that TM. in the Anime they can learn TM moves, so obviously it did

I wish they'd made Dragonbreath a Move Tutor move like they did with some of the other RBY/GSC TMs...

It's funny how Ash's Charizard knows all thse similar-looking moves but no Wing Attack. It's got a huge movepool, but an unneccessary one.
