These are my favourite ms for charmander and charizard

Modest@Focus band
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
Hidden Power Grass
Protect
EV training:255 on sp.attack and speed respectively.
Stadegy: If you challenge your friend (or vice aresa) to a baby cup challenge, this is a good ms for charmander. Dragon claw takes care of dragon pokemons (bagon) while hp grass pwns water, rock and groung before they pwn you. If a powerful attack hits charmander andwas about t KO it, focus band may save your day, as it activate blaze to boost flamethrower power, and therefore the base damage will be 95 x 1.5 x 1.5! Use protect if you had a feeling that charmander can't take an attack, although a filler move can replace it. If for other challenge then it is best to be baton-passed with max sp.attack, speed and defences states.

Stradegy:It's like charmander's ms, but use subsitute 3 times to activate blaze+petaya for greater power for charizard. In 2vs2 battle, if your partner used sunny day prior, flamthrower might be able to even overwhelm regice.
