Also try using your parteners discharge poke assist. Charizard is eather flying or fire so it affects both, also by that point in the game it should do a lot a paralisis...

ooo, what's cooking?
u gotta be fast, while hes flying in the middle of the field, use water (the best assist, so use poliwhirl, they last longest) or ur partner. Make the smallest circles as fast as u can without touching Charizard, and mae sure ur partner is charged to full for longest hold!
