chat programm: For both Mac please?

Hi I'm having trouble finding a chat program that will download to a Mac.
Most mainly work on PC.

http://www.xchat.org/ Is a good IRC app that will work both on a PC, and on a mac, though you have to download a different version.

I reccomend using a program called Adium:

It's a messaging program for Mac that lets you access multiple IMing accounts at once. Ones such as MSN, Yahoo, AIM, etc. I use it all the time. Very good, easy to use program.
