Ok....Just so we can stop some of the congestion...

I have seen people putting up offers for B, saying that they want A. Then, right above that post, someone puts up that they want B, and are offering A.

Come on people, look before you post. That way, we aren't so congested that people cannot get on and trade/battle/whatever.

Just a thought. Maybe a Mod could back me up?

well this is all well and good but wat would stop people doing this is restricting the amount of people who can get in, put like a 5 post limit on this part of the forum as many of the people psoting here are begginer trainers and I think that have created an account, spam tere trades and dont really check em.

Good point. I was just kinda throwing out that people just need to open there eyes, or heaven forbid, use the Search Forum function to look for what they want. I know that people will probably still do it, but hopefully not everyone. The less people we have doing it, the better it will become.

I have to agree with you Darkaj. Perhaps may be if it is ok with the mod is have thread created one a day just on trades or the creator of the thread after a trade is done to close it and say that this trade has been done? This is just an idea.

Then after they are closed they could go to some sort of archive? get deleted? something anyways....It is getting way to crowded around here. But thanks for your support,PiNgU.

i just use a general rule of thumb where i wait two or three days for a response to a trade offer. if i don't hear anything in that amount of time, i just assume that the offer was turned down and the pokemon is back on the market. that's what i suggest because some people stop answering their threads and then the people who offered are put in an awkward position. so i suggest just waiting a couple of days for a response and if you don't hear anything in that time, then it's open season for your pokemon again

Ok, i guess that I don't understand your point. You are saying that you are ok with people posting for, say a Munchlax looking for a Dialga, then someone right above it, they can see the other post, saying that they are looking for a Dialga and will trade their munchlax for it. It doesn't make any sense.

Onion?
I don't agree at all with these posts. I do agree that people should look at other threads before posting to see if there is an offer already available for them, but these other suggestions are terrible. The forums are already down all the time, we don't need limited posts, or limited threads per day. This is a trading forum, what do you expect from it? It has short posts and lots of noobs.

@ darkaj
i thought you meant that people are offering their pokemon that they only have one of two or more times.
