I hope so to. But by something spoilerific, do you probably mean the next opening which would feature the new Pokemons of Ash, Iris and Cilan (if it's happen) or a spoilers of an new special episode?

I really want a new opening, I don't like to completelly spoiled but I would love to get a new opening and it would feature Pignite/Dewott/Servine with Satoshi, I would jump out of my window go down the road and dive into the river out of happiness(jkg I actually did that when I was a kid, not out of happiness but because it was hot haha).

On a more serious note, I kinda wanted a opening like the DP ones, that would update as the teams are updated but could already contain 1 or 2 spoilers to keep people pumped.

I too would actually like a new opening, sure I like the japanese theme, but change is always good... I also like the idea of one or 2 spoilers, hopefully one of Ash starters has evolve or will evolve after spoiling

I agree. A new opening would be great, even with only a few spoilers, but not a whole load.

I'm pretty sure we'll have a new opening soon. The movie has aired already, so the opening can be changed. Remember we usually get a new opening or some sort of variation of it just several episodes after a movie has aired. Just for the hell of it and how it happened in the past, I don't expect it to change at least until after the 4th Gym. I believe that the first Japanese opening from Johto also changed after the Ecruteak Gym(4th).... Same with Hoenn, it changed right before Ash battled the 5th Gym, and we also got High Touch(2nd DP Opening) after the 4th Sinnoh Gym.... See a pattern there?

Since no one's Pokemon hasn't evolved yet, there isn't a need for a new opening. Maybe after the gym sounds better because then maybe Iris would have caught another Pokemon maybe or maybe someone evolves later or maybe N or Team Plasma will apprear. That would be a goo way to show spoilers. Not in the middle of a training tornament.

And I don't agree with someone saying that Iris fans will be mad at Ash if she loses. But Ash fans would be mad at Iris if he loses too. So it doesn't matter. What should matter is the way of how the battle will go. Will Emonga actually battle and not electro her way out, will Ash choose a good Pokemon against Excadrill or will Snivy finally lose? There is just so much to speculate.

Yeah I am expecting it to be released somewhere after the 4th gym too, maybe a month later or so, I hope the gym fight is still in August or atleast in September, not that I would whine if we get good non filler episodes instead but I still hope it is around that time.

Alot of Pokemon have been introduced already, so I'm not expecting too many filler episodes before the 4th gym battle. I can expect it to release at late August or early September.

If Ash faces Antonio(guy seems like a flying or normal type trainer) then I think Pikachu would be a good choice and then hopefully Pikachu won't face Excadrill. If Ash faces Dino, I still say use Pikachu just so Ash can use Snivy or Palpitoad in the finals(Ash isn't likey to use the same pokemon in a round, he had his chance against Pawniard with Palpitoad, but chose Snivy)

Evolutions probably don't dictate new ops. The marketability of the op does. How long since the last op, if the next op is special(like moeyo gizamimi pichu being released w/ m12, even if it was an ed its just an example) it may dictate when the previous one should end, and when the cds should be released, getting an artist&recording, will the single be released with an ed, and if so when is the ed debuting,etc.

Basically when in doubt, its all about the money!

I can easily see the scenario where Ash is given the option to choose first, and he'll say the "Taisho's" turn has finally come. Then Iris, will send out Excadrill. It'll be an uphill battle that's for sure, and Pikachu might not be able to pull if off given it's massive disadvantage. At this point, I just hope Pikachu put's up a decent fight, and there's no cheap stuff on either side.

I don't think there's any doubt that he will. It's just a matter of how the battle will go, and who the writers want to win at this point in the series. Will Pikachu pull off a cheap victory, or will Excadrill realistically come out the victor.

He's going to have to develop a strategy, given Pikachu's primary moves have no effect and his usually reliable counters (Iron Tail and Quick Attack) will have minimal effect, and I doubt with Electro Ball having recently been learnt I highly doubt Pikachu will learn a new move during the battle.

If it is Pikachu vs. Excadrill, I won't mind either way who comes out victorious. It'd be a good solid win for Iris and the confirmation of Excadrill going back to its former battling prowess and will teach Ash that sometimes there are just disadvantages that you cannot overcome.

On the flip side, if Ash wins it'd show his rivals (particularly Trip) and even Iris herself, just exactly what Ash can do with his Pokemon, no matter the situation.

If Pikachu's in the last round (which he most likely is), and he wins, then i think he should be the fall guy at the 4th Gym.
As for the third round, (if the 4th round is Pikachu), he should use Palpitoad/Snivy-preferably Palpitoad, since Snivy will of just been in a battle (vs. Pawniard)-though it's not unlike Ash to put Pikachu into both the 3rd and 4th round which i hope he doesn't do

It'll probably go like this:

Palpitoad vs (whichever Pokemon it is)-Palpitoad
Pikachu vs Excadrill-Pikachu

And to be honest, it's terrible that it's most probably only 1 on 1 for the finals, it would be better 3 on 3 :/

I'm starting to doubt that Ash will win against Iris. It'd be total irony if Iris wins with Excadrill but I think with Pikachu's given moves so far, Ash will DEFENITELY have ro come up with a strategy.

It's really gotten to the point where Iris is predicted to win against Atnonio(or the other guy) is it?
