I'll admit that I didn't expect to see Kazuchi and his Prasle and Minun again so soon, although watching the pep squad's shenanigans was amusing. Sekidou being a scam artist was refreshing because it gave us an antagonist who wasn't the Rocket-dan trio. Overall, this was one of the Houen saga's better filler episodes.

I hated how he managed to escape despite him scamming the poor Plusle and Minun kid with his cheating drums. I wish we had seen him get arrested for what he did, but alas.

In hindsight, I would've loved if this episode had showcased more Double Battle mechanics since we had Prasle and Minun involved. Masato doing some snooping and discovering the scam was an amazing role for him, however.

This episode was basically a rehash of the Pelipper episode. And I find it hard to believe that Sheridan was the only one who knew what was in the drums. And they just let Sheridan get away.

Sekidou's scam did seem kind of ridiculous in retrospect since those huge drums seemed suspicious from the start, yet it took a while for others to notice that.

Brock's cheering on the female cheerleaders was very hilarious tho.
