Cherish balls on the GTS

Alright heres the thing, I've gotten a few hacked pokemon in cherish balls before off the GTS, But recently I put a Raikou on asking for a Reggigigas, any would have done, but I got a japanese one, in a cherish ball that said it was from the pokemon 08 movie event, but then two things struck me as strange:
1. It didn't have a classic ribbon
2. I thought Cherish balls couldn't be traded over the GTS unless they were hacked.

I'm really confused, I had a look at numerous event things to reference it to, and found the same pokemon but with a classic ribbon, so I'll get to the point.

Is my pokemanz hacked? D:

Yep, that's why i don't use the GTS, WAY to many hacks

It is not hacked, that is the Regigigas unlocks the regis in Platinum, they do not come with classic ribbon in any region they were given away. I checked the main site and most of them are said to have the classic ribbon on them but that is wrong.

Umm, the Japanese Movie Theater Regigigas does NOT have Classic Ribbon attached, therefore they CAN be traded via GTS.
Apparently Serebii has it listed with Classic Ribbon, when in reality it doesn't have one. Bulbapedia listed it as having no ribbon.

In fact, I remember before Joe updated the EventDex to be like the one it is now, the Regigigas is listed as having no Classic Ribbon....
I remember because I checked it, as I got one from the GTS






Also, it's the Classic Ribbon that prevents trading via GTS, not the Cherish Ball.
