Choice Band?

Hey there, I'm relatively new to the competive battling game, but I'm in no way a newbie around here, or video games in general.

Anyway I've been looking over some moveset/battle options for various pkmn (as I've just got Pokemon Emerald recently), and alot have the usual Leftovers, but some have this Choice Band one, which according to the main site is only found in the Battle Tower?

I'm pretty sure that all items found in the Battle Frontier Arenas can only be used there... So can u only use Choice Band there or is there a means of getting (at least) one elsewhere in RSE?

You can get one in Emerald by buying it with Battle Points in the Battle Frontier but it's hardly worth it in my opinion.

I think normans slacking has one the 5th time you battle him but I'm not sure. (use thief) but by then you would have made it to the BF

I wouldn't recomend it. Unless all your attacks are the same type.

choice band multiplies your physical attack by 1.5, but only lets you use the first move you choose until you switch out.

you get it by buying it for 64 battle points in the battle frontier in emerald, or as a random prize for winning through 42 battles without a loss in the battle tower in sapphire/ruby.

you can use it in any battle. you're thinking of the fact that if you use theif on your opponent, you don't get to keep their item afterward.

If you battle with a Furret in the Battle Factory, it should have one.

Right there are two types of battle that thief falls into:
1. In-game battles: if thief is used in one of these and an item is obtained then you keep that item permanently.
2. Link battles, battle frontier and secret bases: if thief is used in one of these battles, the item remains until the battle is finished at which point the item returns to it's owner (your opponent/s.)
