You will be missed:(
I'm in a bit of a dillema. After getting close to beating the Elite, only to get defeated, I figured I should change a few things and give them that final push they need. The current team can be found at http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=117193. The only change is taht Absol's Strenth is replaced with Shadow Ball

The thing is, I'm not sure which path to take. They way I see it, I have three choices:

1.Breed the pokemon on my team for good IV's, Natures, and movesets.

Upside: I'll have all the same pokemon in my team (or their children, at least). Also, I can keep TM's that I want my pokemon to keep, or gain new moves that would be helpful. And since the entire pokemon world is open to me, I can easily EV train the pokemon.

Downside: Breeding for good stats is an inexact science. And since I don't have a Ditto or another game, I need to catch 3 females to get the same pokemon. And then there's daycare costs and the amount of time it takes to breed something good. Plus, I have no idea of their IV's, except for Sceptile.

2.Get new pokemon to replace the current ones.

Upside: I'll be training untrained pokemon, meaning I could develop them in any direction. Also, I still have a lot of the TM's, so movesets may not be too much of a problem. Plus, the ones i pick will most likely have better stats.

Downside: What makes me think I'll do better with these pokemon? There's also the time that it takes to train the pokemon, and no guarentees that they'll do any better. And on top of that, if they have bad natures or IV's, I'll probably end up right back where I started.

3.Rearrange the movesets.

Upside:I'll keep the same pokemon, and they'll be stronger for a later time. And like I said before, I have a lot of the TM's still, so it'll be easy. And there's still a few moves they can learn by leveling up.

Downside:This won't change bad stats or natures, and if that's the problem, all I'm doing is waisting my time. Three of them are females, and I'm reluctant to use one-time TM's on a female. And some of the moves require leveling up to really high levels, which will take a whole lot of time. After investing over 60 hours in the game, I want to get the Elite 4 beaten.

So you see, it's not an easy choice. I was woondering what you think of the choices I have.

or D), which is just to level your guys up a little more. team should be OK to get through the league.

if you want to train something new, though, the best thing for beating the league is starmie. it's much better than azumarill. surf/TB/IB/recover.

yeah jus keep fighting them with your team and gaining levels, you'll get enough to crush them eventually

You should level up your pokemons and then you can sweep through them.

why dont you train a new set with correct evs then work out their ivs and breed to get perfect ivs. why are you thinking about daycare costs anyway when you can get money so easily!?!

If you have Emerald, you can get Ditto I think before the E4, but I'm not sure. Anyway, just train 'em up a few levels.

in emerald, ditto is found in the desert underpass, which only opens after you beat the E4.

besides, ditto isn't part of the hoenn dex, so you can't have it before getting the national dex, which only happens after the E4.

I'd just change the movesets you have. Unless you have alot of time and money on your hands, stay with your team. Rebreeding and training can take a long time and can be a pain.

I say train a new pokemon to help you beat the trainer youre having probs with... May i suggest training one with a super effective hit on the elite four member your having trouble wit.

breading holds back some of the pokemons stats it is better to find them in the wild and raise them trust me and people say to hold back evolution to learn a move very bad idea i did an experament on a slaking and held it back so it would get reversal and if i eveloved it the natural way it would have over 300 hit points than it does now but it would not get reversal and the pokemon has only 222 hit point right now

You don't need to do anything above you mentioned. All you have to do is level up some more. You're just fighting the E4,you don't need to care about the natures,EVs yet.I see that your pokemon can beat the E4.Skarmory has a resistant to most of Sidney's pokemon.Use Sceptile on Sharpdeo.
Absol and Skarmory can defeat Pheobe.
Sceptile and calm mind Garvedior can beat Glacia.
I suggest you replace Azurill for another water type,(like Starmie)if you can't,just level it up higher,it has above average defenses,it can withstand a few Salamence hits, and ice beam it back for a K.O.
Last, use all your remaining pokemon on Wallace, your thunderbolt Garveidor and Sceptile can take care of them.
Your main problem is the levels are too low.Train some more. And prepare some healing items.

So far your team is alright, except their level. Azumarill will clean up Sidney easily if he's on higher level. Phoebe can easily be sweep with Absol, with Shadow Ball. For Glacia, you may want to Brick Break them and Steel Wing for Glalie, to think that her pokemon is weak to Fight. The problem is on Drake. You can use Azumarill's Ice Beam, but I don't think he'll last long. You can use Rock Blast for Altaria, but Flygon and Salamence are something to be recon. For Wallace (Emerald) you can use higher level Sceptile to sweep them. Earthquake for Tentacruel,Fly for Ludicolo,Ice Beam for Gyarados and the others should go down easily with Leaf Blade. Well, that's all.

very nice high five!
Your team is ok. But the problem is the levels, like other people sayed.

Level up your pokemon to level 50-55/55-58. You don't need your whole team be equal in the levels.

The reason you should concetrate on Sceptile's training first is for one only reason- Wallase's Milotic.

It can really piss you off with its Ice Beam, so make sure yor Sceptile's speed and S.A. is high enough.

Also, give it Earthquack. If you sayed its Attack is really high, you will not have problems defeading its Tentacruel.

And the the MAJOUR thing you need to have with you is at least 15 Revivers and 20 Full Restore. If you don't have it with you you are toasted. I'm sure in this point of the game you are able to affort that.

If you found any Elixers and the other PP restores and haven't used it yet you will need those after batteling the 2nd elite( sory forgot the name) and after batteling Drake.

You should also evolve your Gravler. If you have a friend with R/S/E/ FR-LG [ that fixed the ganator thing already] then trade it to him/her and trade back to you.

And the last thing you should have with you is one the pokemon holding Amult Coin[ you can get from your mom in your house in Litellroot town after getting the 5th badge]. That way you can earn lots of money easily. I'm sure your team can survive withought a useful item^^.

I hope I helped you and good-luck defeading the E4!
