Chapter Seven ~ Winners​

Pure collapsed to the ground, unable to take the beating from his nemesis, Volteon. But the moment after he fell, Ho-Oh, Umbreon and Jolteon collapsed as well, very much hurt from the battle.

Octoboy and The Benmeister, though also in pain, emerged as the victors from the three-way duel.

They quickly untied Dramatic Melody from the pole, and the Mudkip quickly commended the two Pokemon for their bravery. Seeing the four fainted Pokemon, he quickly got his cellphone from the fainted Umbreon's pocket and dialed a number.

"SnoWing," he began, "I think we need your jet again. Can you pick me and my two possible replacements up?"

Dramatic Melody was welcomed with an applause.

"Thank you, thank you," he began, "now, I'm sorry if this will frustrate all of you, but I've already chosen the two finalists as my replacement."

Murmurs and groans were heard from the crowd, all obviously wondering why such an assumption has been made without a proper test.

"I'm sure all of you are asking why," the Mudkip continued, "well, it's because all of you were too ****ing scared to even try to rescue me. But these two, along with the others from their batch, didn't hesitate at all."

While still frustrated, the crowd began to understand where their previous leader was coming from.

"So here they are, Octoboy and The Benmeister!"

As the two Pokemon went up to their repsective platforms, a soft but well-deserved applause was heard from the audience. Even though all of them were very disappointed, they knew that they would soon be in good hands when either of them take the position.

"They'll each have their own quick speech on why they want to be the next Face-Off Moderator, and then all of you will have to vote which one you prefer more. So, Octoboy, please start."

"Well, uhmm," the anxious Octillery began, "I wanna prove myself, and everyone, that I can actually do something, that I can make a difference. And I think being a moderator would be a great opportunity to do so."

"Thank you," the Mudkip acknowledged, "and you, The Benmeister?"

"Well, of course it's for the experience," the equally nervous Magneton stated, "but also it's to serve my realm right. It would be a great honor, and I promise to follow the footsteps of the past Face-Off Moderators."

"So there you have it, folks," Dramatic Melody concluded, "who are you gonna vote?"

We're gonna use a variation of the Point Style (used in the previous Chorus) for this final. There are 120 voters, and each post you make consists of 5 votes. You have to assign votes to the two finalists. Whoever has the most after all 120 votes have been used up wins!

But, you cannot put all 5 votes on one contender - you have to split them to both of them. Yeah. =P

RULES FOR BOOK THREE, CHAPTER SEVEN

1. General Chorus rules apply.
2. Voting is once per hour.
3. You have five votes per post. You have to use all five votes, and you have to split them.
4. Keep a tally of how many votes are left in your post, regardless if you are a tallyist or not.
5. Whoever has the most votes after all 120 votes are used up wins!
