Chronicles Of Mewtwo & The Glitch Attack!

Chronicles Of Mewtwo & The Glitch Attack
Episode 1 - The Quest Begins!

The next day in a region called Quazto, a young 14 year old girl called Sophie, a young girl who could talk Pokemon-tongue, was watching the news. Apparently, a legendary species of Pokemon called Articuno was resting on the haunted mountain called Mt Pyre in Hoenn. She was talking about this to a small boy she refers to as 'the Brat'

"Betcha you're too scared to see the Pokemon!" he sneered

"No way! Pokemon are a hundred times stronger than humans. If Pokemon and humans didn't share a unique bond, the whole world would be destroyed!" replied Sophie.

"Well why are they dumb enough to listen to humans...?" 'The Brat' snorted.

"Because they respect the trainer! I bet you wouldn't be able to command a level 100 Tyranitar now, would you? The badges from gyms are to show your Pokemon you respect them!" she sighed and frowned. She explained this yesterday, and last week, and everytime she saw him.

'The Brat' just boasted "Well I'm gonna start my Pokemon journey right now! I'm gonna travel to Hoenn and catch that Pokemon!"

"That Pokemon is probably just sleeping. Then some brat like you comes up with a few crappy Pokemon that won't even listen to you, and you'll probably get wiped out in five seconds. Well, good luck to you." Sophie snapped. 'The Brat' shrugged and went off to Professor Sycamore's lab. Professor Sycamore was quite young for a Pokemon professor, and taught Sophie all she knew about Pokemon. She went in after 'The Brat' ran out with a Pokeball.

"Hello professor!" Sophie said.

"Hello Sophie. Could you do me a favour?" the professor asked.

"Sure!" replied Sophie.

"Please could you take this Charmander & follow that boy to Mt Pyre? You can keep it."

"WOAH! A Charmander? Thanks!" Sophie grinned eagerly as she took the Charmander in the Pokeball. She went outside and let the Pokemon out.

"Hi." greeted the Charmander. "I guess I'm your Pokemon now. My name is Ashura." he grinned, bowing to his new trainer and stretching his arms out.

"Oh. Hi then. My name's Sophie." said Sophie. "We've gotta go to this place called Mt Pyre in Hoenn. Bad thing is, I dunno where it is!"

"Oh I do! Anyway, aren't you meant to be following him?" asked Ashura, poining to the Brat running off.

"You're right Ashura let's go!" Sophie agreed. They took the train in Sliver City to Hoenn.
When they got to Mt Pyre, the Articuno was gone! In her place was the lab experiment Mewtwo! Although it looked pretty small & much younger.

"Attack it, Chic!" stormed the Brat. Chic, a little Chikorita, was frightened stiff of the Mewtwo. A person in a cloak brushed past Sophie.

"Huh?" It appeared that no one else saw it, so she ignored it.
Suddenly, the Mewtwo simply raised his paws and the little Chikorita just jumped back into the Brat's Pokeball in fear.

"HEY! GET OUT HERE & FIGHT!" commanded the Brat, tapping the Pokeball. Ashura glared at the weird boy with interest. Sophie meanwhile consulted her 'Legendary Pokemon That Don't Exist' book. Eventually she came across a page about Mewtwo and Mew.

"Mewtwo, a laboratory experiment created by Team Rocket. Mewtwo was created by obtaining DNA within an eyelash of Mew. However, this only gave Mewtwo some similarities in abiliies so Alakazam DNA was later added to make the creature complete. This has led some people to believe that Mewtwo is not a clone of Mew, because it has enough Alakazam DNA to be a completely different creature. Mew is said to be a mirage, although the creation of Mewtwo has proved otherwise."

"Errr... should we trust him or her?" Ashura asked.

"Hmmm... I dunno..." pondered Sophie.

"Hello? Another trainer?" sighed the Mewtwo. He

"Well, yeah... but I'm not really a trainer." protested Sophie

"Let's make a deal. You beat me, I join your team." the Mewtwo said, preparing for battle.

'How the hell am I supposed to win with only a Charmander? My first time battling?' Thought Sophie 'But this cat - Mewtwo is it, doesn't look very experienced in battles... but then again, neither am I...'

"Alright, you're on!" Sophie agreed.

'Cool, my first ever battle!' thought the Mewtwo. First off, the Mewtwo tried to use Confusion, which missed. Ashura retaliated with Ember. The Ember inflicted a burn on Mewtwo. After a few rounds of fighting, the Mewtwo collapsed with tiredness.

"Hey, are you OK? I'm sorry if Ashura hurt you!" apologised Sophie

"No I'm fine. You and the Charmander won fair and square. Even if it was only because I got burnt." admitted the Mewtwo. "My name is Demension. I was looking for a long lost friend - a female Articuno named Breezy. She flew away just as I arrived because I was protecting her from something." Demension, the Mewtwo, blushed when he said Breezy's name.

"Well maybe we'll find her!" Sophie exclaimed.

"Well, this begins a long adventure..." said Ashura

"Why?" asked Sophie

"Well you're gonna be a Pokemon Master, duh!" he stated

"Huh? Me in the Pokemon League Challenge!" Sophie questioned. "Which reigion should we start in?"

"In Quazto. You live there, right." Demension answered.

"Hey, how'd you know?" asked Ashura & Sophie.

"Well I just seen you come from there. Are we going or what?"

---Meanwhile---

"Boss, our prize Pokemon lost to a level 5 CHARMANDER! Are you sure we have to catch it when it's that weak?" asked the shadowy figure Sophie saw before. He revealed himself to be wearing a black uniform with the initials 'T.G' written as a logo on it.

"This Pokemon is VERY strong, it just hasn't gained the abilities yet... it is only young. Anyway, make sure you get that Mewtwo! Spread the word round! I cannot let his father or mother escape this time. Maybe the baby shall lead me to them! Infact... this Pokemon might be all we need to lure our prize... I hear they have more than friendship between them... heh heh..." hissed someone hidden in the shadows, reffering to a crying Pokemon in a cage.

"Yes boss." droned the boss's lackey as he hastily ran down the corridor...

"So, which is the nearest gym?" asked Sophie

"Buffpufftuff Town." replied Ashura

"What a weird name!" Demension stated

"Yeah everyone who lives there has a Igglybuff, Jigglypuff or Wigglytuff."

"Ooooook..."

Eventually, they got to the town. A man in a similar uniform to as the person before stopped in front of Sophie, Ashura and Demension and snapped,

"Hand over that Mewtwo or you'll regret it!"

"Yeah right!" Sophie simply said and she stuck out her tongue.

"It's a Team Glitch member!" panicked Demension

"Who?" asked Ashura. Demension didn't reply, he just snarled bitterly at the Team Glitch member who sent out his Pokemon... if it was a Pokemon! It was just a scramble of blocks, with two black slits for seeing with. Sophie and Ashura gasped when Demension stepped near the block, because it looked like Demension had split into blocks! Demension however, didn't seem surprised.

"A 'M'... one of their Glitch Projects..." Demension growled. "Don't worry, I'm fine. This is just a 'Glitch Illusion'." Instantly, he raised a paw, unleashing a Confusion attack on this 'M' Pokemon. The blocks slided all over the place as Demension easliy defeated the glitch. The Team Glitch grunt ran away.

"Who are these Team Glitch people? Why are they after you?" asked Sophie

"I'm too tired, it's getting late." yawned Demension "I'll tell you tomorrow." The trio decided to rest at Sophie's house (after Sophie explained to her very shocked parents & ringing up her friends to tell them that she was going to be a Pokemon trainer) so that they could travel to Buffpufftuff Town the next day.

Meanwhile, Ashura sat in Sophie's back garden, looking at the night sky littered with stars. He blinked and he could've sworn he'd seen a pink cat flying in the sky. He nearly fainted when the pink cat flew up to him!

"H-huh? Who are you?" he stammered. Although he had never met the pink cat, she looked very familiar. He noticed a picture in Sophie's 'Legendary Pokemon That Don't Exist' book before. This was the mirage Pokemon, Mew.

"Please make sure my son, Demension, comes to no harm. His father was worried sick when we heard that he presented himself to humans." Mew explained.

"Is Demension's father the original Mewtwo?" Ashura asked cautiously, hoping not to offend the mirage Pokemon. She nodded her head, bid farewell and smiled before disappearing in a shower of stars. Ashura went back inside, and fell asleep instantly.

POKEMON LEVELS:
Ashura: Level 6
Demension: Level 2
END OF CHAPTER 1! Good? Or Rubbish? All intellengent comments welcome. Oh, I'm sorry Sophie gained a Mewtwo on her first day, but I really wanted Demension to be in early & Mewtwo is my favourite Pokemon. Demension isn't all that tough as you can see anyways because he's an ickle cute young Mewtwo!

Kutie Pie

"It is my destiny."
Meh. It's not too bad, but what did I say about using '&' instead of the whole word? Remember?

Not too bad, but you may need more description. (Can't believe you put yourself in it.) And "the brat" is your brother I bet. Needs more description. Demension is Mew and Mewtwo's kid?! You weren't kidding about being a Mewshipper!

I'll keep my eye on this to see how it turns out. Well see you later!

The Great Butler

Hush, keep it down
It's a decent start, but not without its flaws. It needs more description and the story seems a bit all over the place. In general, it needs some more polish on it and then it could be great.

You may want to read some other fics and try to develop your style some more, then continue on. It isn't bad, but it could be much better.

Hmm. Very, very interesting. Got a lot of potential here! But you're also running a big risk by playing on some of the stereotypical plot devices/explanations.

For example, why wouldn't Professor Sycamore go after 'The Brat' himself? He's older than Sophie, actually knows how to care for and battle pokemon and with an adult mind, he'd probably be more able to cope with complex situations. So why doesn't he go? It can get really annoying to see professors as incapable of anything more than handing out pokemon, knowing a lot of stuff and screaming to little kids for help as soon as something goes wrong.

Also, there's several points in this quote that might lead to contention.

How can the badges show a trainer respects their pokemon? Isn't it possible for a trainer with a genius for battling but a truly terrible personality to win battles? Even on the anime, trainers didn't have to be 'nice' to win battles, so I don't really see how badges - a symbol of victory over a Gym Leader - could demonstrate a trainer's respect for their pokemon.

Still, at least you're trying to deal with why pokemon listen to humans. It's a very important but highly debatable and tricky issue... and it probably can't be answered universally (e.g. different pokemon would have different reasons for listening to humans).

Another of those contentious points is why Demension would allow himself to be caught. Why would a free pokemon with a caring family suddenly decide to hand himself over in captivity to a human he's never met before? That's not to say that it's an impossible situation, but I would advise a LOT of caution in the way you answer that question. People generally see Legendary pokemon as 'ultimate' and 'undefeatable'. If you make them weak, it doesn't sit easily with the canon and your readers can become ... disagreeable. People around here are tend to cry 'Sue!' if you give a newbie trainer a legendary pokemon with no believable reason provided.

I DO understand that Demension is young. But if he's so young, wouldn't his parents be keeping him by their side until they've taught him enough that he can survive on his own? And Mew and Mewtwo are so 'human-like' it's almost predicatable that they act like humans. Meaning Demension might live with them until his teen years, regardless of when he was able to fend for himself. So why is he, a supposed baby, out on his own?

Also, try not to refer to 'levels'. The general assumption on these forums is that the levels only exist in the game as a tangible measure of how strong one's pokemon are and to make it easier for the programming by putting a mathematical value on things. In 'real pokemon life', 'levels' probably wouldn't exist. Or, if they do, probably only as a name for certain stages in a pokemon's growth. Kind of like 'childhood', 'teenage years' and 'adulthood' - those things don't actually exist except as names that humans picked to refer to certain stages in development. And the stages aren't always separate (e.g. a particular child might be a lot smarter than a particular adult) - it depends on the nature and nurture of the individual. So whilst the labels are roughly helpful, they can't be counted as definite in the way a computer would treat them.

Next - Demension as a character. Here, you might run into trouble. Especially in the first half of the story (before I realised Demension was a younger and different Mewtwo) I found myself squirming a bit at the notion of the original Mewtwo acting that way. Generally, people see the word 'Mewtwo' and think 'Mewtwo of the anime/manga'. And since Demension is clearly not that sort of person, your readers might find it unsettling and laughable to see a 'Mewtwo' behaving in such a 'non-Mewtwo' manner.

Now, I have these sort of problems myself - trying to stop my readers from seeing the 'Ash' of my story as the 'Ash of the anime'. Yah, they're the same 'person' but they're also two extremely different characters. Methinks it's the same with Mewtwo and Demension. Yah, they're both Mewtwos, but they're completely different characters and to think of them as two parts of the same person ruins the story. So I suggest you try to show as much as possible the distinction between their personas. And don't be obvious about this - straight out stating that the two are different is clumsy and merely highlights the fact that they are similar. I recommend the subtlety of mannerisms, behaviour, speech and choices. Try and show the way Demension moves, speaks and acts. Bits like

'Cool, my first ever battle!' thought the Mewtwo.

do a lot to help show what Demension is like as a person. Eager and childlike. ^^ Slick work there. Actually, throughout the story, you've put in little sections like the one above that really help to depict your characters as people. Congrats! That's normally something really hard to do. Well, since you've got that under control, perhaps you could move on to describing the way your characters move and speak? Little bits of body language like stance, the way of walking, waving a hand, shrugging, hand gestures (like waving or tapping/drumming/flicking/snapping fingers) and facial expressions can be really powerful ways of showing a character's emotions. And the way characters speak (wryly, eagerly, mournfully, quietly, mumbling, bellowing, laughing, whining, moaning) helps as well.

Another thing, I really liked this bit:

Ashura glared at the weird boy with interest. Sophie meanwhile consulted her 'Legendary Pokemon That Don't Exist' book.

^^ Having pokemon function separately from their trainers and acting without their trainers' commands helps to show their own character and personality. Muchly congrats for getting that down so smoothly in the first chapter!

Well, rant on numerous aspects of writing aside, I think you've shown a high amount of skill so far (though be careful of technical (spelling/grammer/punctuation) errors too!). Part of the reason this review was so long and critical is cause a lot of these things kind of nitpicky. I've put them in cause I reckon that with the start you've got you both need and are able to cope with more advanced criticism. That's a form of compliment, so, uh, take it as one? I'm really not meaning to be harsh or cruel here and if I was, please let me know where and how so I can avoid it in future.

If you want anything else in your story critiqued/commented on or if you want anything in this review expanded upon/explained, let me know! Best of luck and fun to you!

Ooops, sorry about the '&' problem... *sweatdrops* I really will remember next time. Ehehe, 'The Brat' is my smelly sort of 'cousin' you could say... to be honest I haven't seen him in ages...

Oh yes, I am a Mewshipper!

OK, I guess my description isn't very good. I really need to work on it... thanks for the advice!

Chronicles Of Mewtwo & The Glitch Attack
Episode 2 - Pinkie's Balloon Badge!

"Today's the day; I'm finally going to start collecting Pokemon!"

This was the first thing Sophie said when she woke up. Roughly pushing on her glasses, she jumped out of her bed straight away excitedly while sending Ashura and Demension out of their Pokeballs. She then grabbed a brush and brushed her hair, while Ashura yawned lazily while Demension rubbed his big, bright blue eyes he inherited from his mother and looked at Sophie eagerly, ready to start the adventure.

"Sophie... it's 6am... can't we get back to sleep...?" Ashura moaned, swaying from side to side because of tiredness. He let out a another huge yawn. After all, he had been up talking to Mew last night.

"Lance probably got up this early when he started his Pokemon training!" protested Sophie angrily, pointing to a poster on the wall of the 'Dragon Master'.

"Is he your boyfriend or something?" Ashura scoffed.

"LANCE? The world's strongest Pokemon trainer? No way! I love someone else, but he is my idol. He collects dragon Pokemon for Ho-Oh's sake they are very hard to train!"

The two Pokemon decided not to answer back. They watched the TV in Sophie's bedroom, which showed the world's Pokemon Masters including one of Sophie's best friend, Becki. Suddenly, the TV showed Lance upon his Dragonite. Ashura muttered something under his breath and thought Lance was a show-off. Demension however, watched the television trying to gain useful battle techniques and ideas.

"Hey, look, is that Lance is on TV? The one with the red hair?" Demension asked, pointing to the television.

"Yeah that's him. Cool isn't he, like Chad Kroeger!" grinned Sophie, holding up a CD.

"Who?" asked the two Pokemon with interest.

"He's a singer. Lead singer of Nickelback." answered Sophie. Demension looked at the CD, wanting to know more. Ashura sat on the bed and yawned yet again.

"They're my favourite band. Anyway, let's go to Puff-whatever-it's called Town." said Sophie. The other two Pokemon agreed and returned to their Pokeballs for a while to catch up on their well deserved sleep while Sophie bid farewell to her parents and Professor Sycamore and headed out to Buffpufftuff Town. On the way there, Sophie saw a Swampert zip past her. Her mouth dropped open as she thought it was too good to be true.

"NO WAY!?" she said excitedly in disbelief. "HE'S HERE?! HE'S BACK FROM KANTO ALREADY!?" Demension and Ashura looked confused as Sophie shuffled and jumped around, full of excitement and hyperness. "OH MY GOD! IT IS HIM!" She squealed, running into a bush and hugging a boy with ginger hair, black t-shirt and blue trousers. The boy's Swampert laughed at him.

"Owwwww... what was that for? GET OFF ME!" He moaned angrily. Sophie had gone a bright shade of a shade of a Mew coloured pink and finally let go of Luke, the boy who was actually five months younger than Sophie.

"This must be the guy Sophie has fallen in love with..." Demension told Ashura, and the two Pokemon snickered. Sophie glared at her two cheeky laughing Pokemon and they fell silent straight away.

"Demension, Ashura, meet the awesome LUKE, Champion of Quazto! Luke, meet Demension the Mewtwo and Ashura the Charmander. How come you're back from Kanto so early?" Sophie asked Luke.

"Have you ever been to Kanto? All the Pokemon Masters live there! Even Swampert had no chance." Luke explained, petting his Swampert. Sophie explained to Luke that she would be Pokemon training too. Luke smirked as he tried to hide a laugh and told Sophie that he would travel with them too, for training.

When the two humans and their Pokemon got to Buffpufftuff Town, after urging Demension and Ashura to practise on Rattatas, Sentrets and Zigzagoons so that they were both slightly stronger, they found that the town had balloons of Igglybuff, Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff floating around, all the buildings had paintings of the Pokemon on them, and all the flowers were bright pink too. Ashura began to look shifty and tried to make sure they didn't notice the gym.

"What's going on?" Sophie asked, slightly nervous at the fact that the whole town had gone pink, and wondered if there was anyone sane or male apart from Luke around here.

"It's the annual festival. The day that the town was founded." replied Luke, with a bored sound in his voice. He'd already seen it all last year.

"What's everyone on is more like the question." Ashura commented while Demension stared at him with a look of confusion. Sophie had just remembered what she was going to ask the young Mewtwo.

"Oh yeah I forgot to ask you Demension, why are those Team Gli-"

"Oh look, there's the gym! Ready for our first test?" exclaimed Demension. Everyone was very suspicious at this point, but they just shook it off and went inside. Ashura had to be forced into his Pokeball so he could go inside since he refused.

The gym was bright pink too. This made the group slightly scared, hoping that the gym leader wasn't a giant Barbie or something. Suddenly a little girl clad in the same shade of bright Jigglypuff pink clothes skipped towards Sophie.

"Big girl wanna Pokemon battle? Tee-hee! Your Pokemon look funny!" giggled the little girl, jumping up and down.

"Errr... are you the gym leader?" Sophie asked, surprised at the fact that a such a little girl could become a gym leader.

"Big girl funny too! Yep gym leader Pinkie! Four years old and ready for battle, that's me!" the little girl giggled with excitement once more.

"GET ME OUT OF HERE!" screamed Ashura, bursting out of his Pokeball in horror and running over to the door as fast as his little stocky Charmander legs would carry him, only to find he couldn't get out because he couldn't reach the handle. His jumps for freedom were in vain.

"Orange Pokemon funny! Let's battle now! Gooo Iggly!" Pinkie said, releasing an Igglybuff from her Pokeball. The battle had begun. Sophie ordered Ashura to attack, only to realise he was at the door trying to get out. Luke tutted and mumbled something about Sophie's poor attempts at a trainer. Sophie heard him and blushed again.

"Ashura, you're up! Use Scratch!" commanded Sophie, grabbing the Charmander and dumping him in front of the Igglybuff.

"Alright, alright I'm on it." Ashura reluctantly answered while trying to scratch the small pink Pokemon. Igglybuff was knocked for six and had obviously lost.

"Aww, poor Iggly. Now it's your turn Jiggly!" Pinkie had sent out a Jigglypuff with a green bow. Ashura screamed again.

"ASHURA! THERE YOU ARE! WHY DID YOU DUMP ME? HOW DARE YOU!? Well now look I have a gym leader for a trainer!" Jiggly the Jigglypuff sneered, puffing herself up until she was twice Ashura's size. Ashura stopped and fainted of sheer shock! Luke looked at the Pokemon with confusion, wondering what the Jigglypuff had said, but he decided it was better not to ask Sophie after seeing the shocked look on her face. Demension had to beat Jiggly by himself. Using a Confusion attack, he easily disposed of Jiggly though.

"Wha-? Now it's Wiggly's time!" Pinkie's last Pokemon was a Wigglytuff. "Wiggly, ATTRACT!" The Wigglytuff sent hearts, prodding Demension, trying to seduce him, but he just smirked and said,

"There's no point in trying that on Legendary Pokemon!"

Sophie was just about to ask who his parents were, but she decided to leave it until later. She just told Demension to dispose of the Wigglytuff in style. The young Mewtwo was really eager all the way through.

"Big girl mean, but big girl strong! Big girl gets a Balloon Badge!" squeaked Pinkie and handed the Balloon Badge to Sophie.

"WOAH! Our first ever badge!" grinned Sophie. Luke frowned and reminded Sophie that he already had all eight from Quazto.

"Neato! So where to next?" asked Demension as they stepped out of the gym.

"Death..." mumbled another Team Glitch member. Luke agreed to take Ashura to the Pokemon Centre while Sophie dealed with the Team Glitch member.

"It's one of those again..." Sophie commented. "What do you want with this Mewtwo anyway?"

"Oh, we cannot tell you, buisness matters, but if you don't come with us, look what happens to the precious Articuno..." smirked the Team Glitch member, showing Sophie, Luke, Demension and Ashura a video of an Articuno getting tortured. This made Demension's blood boil.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER? I'LL KILL YOU! YOU VILE EVIL..."

"...Geniuses?" the Team Glitch member smirked once more. "I'd love to see your powers, little kitty."

Demension just snarled bitterly at the insane, grinning, evil Team Glitch member. He was shaking with a fury that burned inside him, longing to break free. His father has warned him about controlling his powers, he was different to the others except from his mother at home, he had been born. Still a clone, but the others were man-made except from a few Rhyhorns & Nidoqueens who were born like him. His father protected him, but now it was his turn to protect his father... his mother... & Breezy... they all were right... it was all going to happen... this year...

Everyone stopped to look at Demension. He was hovering in the air, his eyes were deep blood-red. He boomed,

"You release the innocent, NOW!"

"Oh no... the stone tablet... I've got to report this to Boss..." mumbled the Glitch member. He turned and ran away. Luke darted out of the Pokemon Centre after hearing the noise, throwing Ashura in his Pokeball to Sophie.

"Hey, you coward, come back here!" shouted Sophie. Luke and Sophie began running after the man, but they couldn't catch up to him.
Demension fell onto the ground.

"Breezy! We've got to save Breezy!" he yelled, tears falling fast from his eyes. the other three tried to cheer Demension up. After an hour or so, he hovered in the air like he normally did.

"They're after me, because it's part of a Prophecy." he explained with a feeble voice. He explained that he joined Sophie because he reconized her from somewhere, even though they had never met, he had seen her in a dream. He also explained that he ran away from his home when he heard that his old childhood friend, Breezy the Articuno, was targeted by Team Glitch. Ashura never met Demension before meeting Sophie, but he knew that he was on about something that will change their previously simple lives...

The subject of the prophecy wasn't mentioned to make sure Demension didn't go in a blind rage again. Luke explained that the next badge would be the Leaf Badge in Greeniville Town. Sophie managed to capture a Chinchou called Star. When they got about halfway through Enigma Forest, they saw a yet another Team Glitch member torturing a little boy and her Pokemon, Sentret.

"Heh heh heh. Your Pokemon love to squirm don't they?" laughed the Team Glitch member, whose Muk was toturing the little Sentret.

"Stop it! Leave my Sentret alone!" the little boy cried, trying to reach his Pokemon. The Sentret was on the verge of death until Sophie decided to help.

"Go Dememsion, Ashura and Star!" she shouted, releasing the three Pokemon from their Pokeballs. Ashura used Ember, Demension used Confusion, and Star used her newly learnt Water Gun on the Team Glitch member's Koffing and Muk. The Pokemon instantly lost and the TG member ran away, claiming that he wouldn't have lost if he had a Glitch Pokemon. Luke smiled at Sophie, impressed that she had gotten better than he expected in the short time span of two days. Sophie nervously smiled back and went up to the little boy.

"Are you alright?" Sophie asked the boy and her Sentret.

"W-w-we will be fine." The boy replied, shaking. "Th-thank you so much!"

"Hey guys, look what's happening to Ashura!" Star said. The others turned to face Ashura who started to glow and change shape. Luke was expecting this.

"He's evolving into a Charmeleon." He said matter-of-factly. Ashura stopped glowing and saw that he was a Charmeleon.

"Hey great, I'm looking cool now!" the newly evolved Charmeleon grinned, looking at his new shape. The little boy mentioned that it was time for him to go home so he did, closely followed by his Sentret, while the heroes put out the tent and sleeping bags.

"Well you three you'd better get into your Pokeballs it's getting late." she said. The Pokemon obeyed & jumped into their Pokeballs to sleep. Sophie and Luke got into their sleeping bags and they both fell to sleep quite quickly. Sophie was lucky to go to sleep quickly, because the Leaf Badge would be a lot harder to get than the Balloon Badge, but not just by battling for it...

Not bad. You got a bit better, but you should've made the battle longer. And a Jigglypuff liking Ashura? What the...? AUGH! PINK HURT'S MY EYES NOW! Though I am wearing pink...And a four-year-old girl?!

Yay! Demension has blue eyes! Like me!! It would've been funny was he yellow (Aryan!), but it's impossible. And glasses. And longer fur. *imagines* GACK! 8D And you used "&" again. *horrified gasps* I don't care for Articuno, but yeah, let them live. AND MEWTWO! Nickelback? DRAGONS! POKEMON! WHEE! And evil Team Glitch. Would be funny were they big and dumb, but oh well.

Question: Would we be able to see Mew (again) and Mewtwo? (Wonder whose Breezy's father is...)

Well keep it up! Here's a, uh, Pikachu!

;025; - NNOOO!
*throws to Sophie* SO LONG CLONE!

Chronicles Of Mewtwo & The Glitch Attack
Episode 3 - The Shadow Articuno

In a faraway region, in a secret base deep underground, down a menacing corridor, was a room with a 'Do Not Enter Without Knocking' sign on the door. In the room, making sure there was no humans around, an Articuno desperately tried to escape from her cage.

"Don't be pathetic. You'll never escape." came a voice. A short, podgy insane-looking man with red eyes, grey hair and an evil grin briskly stode across the room, smirking at the hurt Pokemon with glee. "You will be a Shadow Pokemon soon enough so then you can obey all my commands!" He jumped up and down, and the room shook under his weight.

"You're sick!" The Articuno yelled angrily, but the man obviously couldn't understand what she was saying. She bashed against the cage but everytime she did, she recived a powerful electric shock. The Articuno cried in vain as the Shadowfying Machine was brought in by a man with similar eyes and the same insane look on his face, but this man's grey hair stuck out and was tall and thin.

"This won't hurt a bit..." smirked the man who had just walked in.

"Hurry up, Nascour. We haven't got time to play around with the thing, the boss is waiting for us!" snapped the first man, Evice, the old mayor of Phenac City in Orre. Nascour began setting up the dangerous, lethal machine while Evice picked up a phone that began to ring.

"Yep. We're making the Articuno a Shadow Pokemon now. No we haven't seen a Mewtwo or Mew yet, but we are still searching. OK. Bye." He put the phone down and turned to Nascour. Nascour gripped the Articuno, who was now too tired to fight back, by her neck and dumped her in the machine...

---In Greeniville Forest---
Sophie and Luke continued through the forest. The Pokemon were still in their Pokeballs sleeping when suddenly, an Espeon appeared out of nowhere and jumped in front of the two humans.

"Hey... an Espeon? I'm going to catch it! I saw it first!" Luke smirked, getting a Pokeball out and ready to battle. Sophie grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"HEY?! What's the big idea?!" snapped Luke. "Just because you can't get it!"

"Luke, NO!" Sophie yelled. "Espeons don't live in the wild, and I know that one, anyway."

"Well the only person who has an Espeon I know is Becki!" frowned Luke.

"Of course it's Becki's Espeon!" tutted Sophie and Luke mumbled something about Johto under his breath. Sophie was right though because shortly after she said this, Becki, a brown haired girl, jumped from a tree.

"Sophie? You finally got real Pokemon instead of playing on that Nintendo DS all the time? Yay! Why don't we have a battle!?" Becki said eagerly.

"Err... I dunno... OK." Sophie agreed reluctantly. Luke knew who was going to win and why Sophie was reluctant to battle. Becki had been a trainer longer than even he had. Her family ran a gym. Becki didn't need a Legendary Pokemon to win because she was way too experienced.

"Hey Sophie, I only need to use one Pokemon for now." smirked Becki. "But you can use as many as you want!" she added. Sophie sent out Star the Chinchou while Becki chose her Espeon.

"Ok Star, use Thundershock!" Sophie ordered.

"Espeon, you know what to do." Becki grinned. The Espeon gracefully lept out of the way and totally wiped out a crying Star, a nervous Ashura and even Demension! The young Mewtwo frowned, claiming that Espeon can predict the enemy's next move using it's tail. Becki laughed.

"Looks like your Pokemon need a LOT of training!" she said. Sophie sweatdropped while her three Pokemon frowned. Luke stood up looking bored and the three trainers began to walk again. Becki decided to travel with Sophie and Luke, claiming that she had nothing better to do. They nearly got out of the forest without trouble, with the exception of another Team Glitch trainer, but this one was plain barmy. He had a huge, Pokeball afro and was draped in gold.

"Yeah, like, hand over that Mewtwo now little girls and little boy!" The weird man demanded.

"Who the hell are you?" asked Becki.

"I am Miror B! I'm the greatest guy ever here!" said the man. "I was in Cipher, but I got kicked out, and now I'm in Team Glitch!"

"Hmm... Cipher disbanded three years ago." Sophie commented.

"Yeah all the big evil Pokemon organizations are disbanding these days. Team Rocket split a year ago." explained Luke. "This Team Glitch will just get stopped by some Pokemon Master as well."

"No, you don't understand." Demension piped in. "They're after me and my parents!" he panicked. "They are using dead Pokemon spirits called 'Missingno' and controlling them to their own uses. That horrible team are also cloning them to create mutant, or 'Glitch' Pokemon like 'M' and 'PpkmnP' that are evil!"

"Well let's just stop this guy and get it over with." Becki replied, sending out Espeon. Luke sent out a Togetic while Sophie told Demension and Ashura to get ready to fight and also sent out Star.

"Let the music play!" Miror B exclaimed, sending out two Ludicolo. Suddenly a weird song could be heard. "I wrote this myself!" He added, grinning as he admired his own song. The Ludicolo used Rain Dance and replenshed some health.

"Great, I HATE rain!" Ashura moaned. Demension sighed and Star started singing. After Demension knocked some sense into Star, they joined in with fighting the two Ludicolo. The heroes's Pokemon used all their best techniques to stop Miror B. Once Miror B lost, he ran away dropping a disc. Becki picked it up and looked at it.

"It's a TM. One I already have, Return. Do you want it Sophie?" asked Becki. Sophie nodded and decided to teach it to Demension. The young Mewtwo practised on a tree, but it barely left a scratch.

"Your Pokemon need to have liked you for a long time for that to be strong." Luke replied, getting his Togetic to demonstrate. The Togetic fired disc-like hearts a tree, completely chopping it down.

"Ooops." mumbled Togetic, edging away from the fallen tree. An angry female Hoothoot popped her head out and prepared to attack. Sophie got Star to paralyze it, and threw a Pokeball at the Hoothoot. It shook three times and then stayed still. The Hoothoot was caught!

"Yay!" cheered Sophie. Star, who was giggling, Ashura and Demension, looking bored, went back into their Pokeballs.

"I guess we need to get to a Pokemon Centre fast!" she said, breaking into a run. Luke and Becki followed, and soon they managed to get out of the forest and into Greenivillie Town Pokemon Centre.

"OK, may I see your Pokemon?" The nurse asked. Sophie, Luke and Becki gave their Pokemon to the nurse. After they got the Pokemon back, they sat outside on a wall, talking about what had been going on for the past few months. Becki had become champion of Johto and beat Red, but hasn't seen him since and Luke tried to conquer Kanto but got lost in Saffron City Gym and had to be rescued. Sophie explained about Demension's appearence until a very fat, orange Pikachu appeared, holding two packets of crisps.

"Airwhoargh!" the Pikachu said, mouth full of food. He swollowed and said, "I said, there you are!"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" roared Becki. "YOU FAT TALKING PIKACHU!"

"HEY!" the Pikachu shouted back, waving his paws in the air. "I AM THE ONLY FIRE TYPE PIKACHU IN EXISTANCE! HOW DARE YOU CALL ME FAT! I WAS ONE OF YOUR FIRST POKEMON! I AM THE GREAT BOB!" Instead of sparks erupting from the Pikachu, Bob's, cheeks, smoke formed. Luke looked confused while Sophie sweatdropped. Becki stormed over to Bob snatched the crisps from him so the fat Pikachu tried jumping for them, desperate for food.

"This is how you lose weight. Your defense won't be as good but everything else will be much better!" she smirked. Bob stopped jumping, sulked, and stormed off. Becki breathed a sigh of relief as the Pikachu left and looked towards a building surrounded by plants and trees.

"That's the gym, Sophie. The gym leaders are two twins called Fluera and Flora. They're pretty easy I mean your Charmeleon could beat them easily because they train grass Pokemon!" Becki explained.

"Yeah, the hardest part is getting them to battle you." frowned Luke. "They spend more time in their flower shop than in the gym." He fell silent as two girls came out of the flower shop in question. One flicked her short blonde hair while another adjusted her green hair clips, with their matching Bellossom skirts blowing in the wind. They noticed Luke and Becki, and instantly frowned.

"They also get mad when beaten too, I take it." Sophie concluded. Luke and Becki nodded just as Sophie began to run up to the twins.

"What do you want?"Asked the twin with the hair clips, Flora.

"How about a battle?!" Sophie asked eagerly. She glared at the twins, who just laughed in her face.

"HAHAHA! What on Earth?! You?! You wouldn't last two seconds!" they giggled. Sophie clutched her Pokeball containing Ashura tightly, still glaring at the giggling gym leaders. They stopped and looked at the fuming young trainer. "You're serious, aren't you..." they eventually said, "So I guess we had better take you to the gym, but it's closed! Come back tomorrow!" they laughed, and slammed the gym door behind them shut, locking it straight away.

"Woah! Sophie look at the time!" exclaimed Becki, looking at her Johto Pokegear. "We'd better find somewhere to stay!" They decided to stop at the Pokemon Centre. When they were there, the three of them let their Pokemon, including Sophie's new Hoothoot, Cookie, out of their Pokeballs to have a stretch. Ashura decided to tell Sophie about Demension's parents so she promised not to mention anything to Demension, who was cheerfully playing Tig with Star and Cookie.

---Meanwhile---

"Ok, let's see your pathetic Pokemon survive this!" smirked Nascour. The Shadow Articuno stood before a young trainer's Vulpix, ready for a fatal blow.

"Bu-but sh-she's already fainted a-a-and y-you've already w-won! Let me recall her!" sobbed the trainer, a ten-year old girl with blonde hair. She thought all hope had been lost, until suddenly, an Espeon and an Umbreon knocked Articuno back. The Articuno felt no emotions because she was a Shadow Pokemon.

"Great work Espeon and Umbreon!" said a deep voice. The girl turned around to see a trainer wearing a blue cape and a strange machine on his arm. Another girl with ginger hair in pigtails followed him.

"Argh! It's Wes and Rui! They're back to mess up my plans!" Nascour snapped. He recalled the Articuno and disappeared.

"That was a Shadow Pokemon... we missed our chance Wes..." frowned the ginger girl, Rui. She walked up to the little girl's Vulpix and healed it instantly with a Max Revive. Wes, the trainer, recalled Espeon and Umbreon and stayed silent. The younger girl was frozen with fear. She didn't know whether to run away or stay. Eventually, she thanked Wes and Rui and they let her stay with them for a while. Wes used his PDA to check his messages. Someone annoymously had sent him a picture of Sophie, Luke and Becki fighting Miror B from earlier.

"Ah..." Wes said, "This is exactly what we're looking for..."

"Why?" asked Rui. "How can they help us?"

"Well, the brown haired girl is champion of Johto and Kanto... and I think the boy is the champion of this reigion, Quazto. The blonde girl with glasses is... very interesting though. She has a Mewtwo... I never thought it existed..." Wes replied, a smirk appearing on his face very similar to the one when he forced Team Snagem and Team Cipher. The young girl asked politely if she could have a look at the picture, and instantly reconized Sophie, Becki and Luke.

"Hey, I know them, especially Sophie! I think I know where they are heading to as well!" The girl exclaimed excitedly. Wes asked if she would like to travel with Wes and Rui for a while. The girl nodded happily.

"Please call me Jodie. My dream is to catch the Legendary Pokemon, Entei." she said. Wes handed her a Pokeball.

"If you help us, I will let you keep my Entei I snagged from Dakim thirteen years ago. You can borrow it for now so I can get Suicune from the PC." Wes explained briefly. Jodie's eyes opened wide in astonishment and thanked Wes again.

"I guess we had better go..." he murmured, looking up at the Charmander coloured sky. As Wes turned to leave, with Rui and Jodie running behind him, he came across another Team Glitch member who sent out a Glitch Pokemon, 'M'.

"What? What sort of Pokemon is that?!" he cried out in surprise.

"I sense a strange aurora around that Pokemon, like the Shadow Pokemon, but this feels like that the Pokemon wants to be evil. Wes, make sure you beat it! Don't try to snag it!" Rui exclaimed. Wes confidently sent out a Tyranitar, which defeated the Glitch easily despite the 'Glitch Illusions'. After the battle, Wes checked his items. To his astonishment, the Time Flute he had in his bag has multiplied to past 100! Jodie's Pokeballs had also multiplied! Rui figured out that Glitch Pokemon have the power to multiply the sixth item in a Pokemon trainer's bag. It was lucky that Wes had a Time Flute as the sixth item after all. After lots of shock, panic and confusion, the three travellers set their sights on a new mission - to find Becki, Luke and Sophie...

END OF CHAPTER 3! The last bit sucked, I know... >.< Nascour and Evice are horrible! >.< And they have a boss?! Will Miror B get kicked out again?! What are the motives of Team Glitch anyway? Only I hold the answers! All comments welcomed as usual!
Note: This story is set 13 years after Colosseum if you didn't notice.

Eternally hating D/P
I dislike this story, I really do.

Face it: if logic existed in this story, the hero would have been downright MURDERED by both Mew and Mewtwo for even approaching their child. Also, Demmension (or whatever he's called) is a stupid pokebot who stays in his Pokeball and obey orders.

I won't even make comments on the Legendary Pokemon being owned or this will turn to flame.

In a nutshell, the fic phails. There are tons of things about the characters that is just... wrong. But I'll elaborate when I have the time.

My advice: this is awful. Please give up and restart from the very beginning.

Yes, I am harsh... but apart from lenght and description, you got nearly nothing right. Sorry.

Kutie Pie

"It is my destiny."
It's not too bad, but the battle's NEED to be longer. Remember that now.

NOT BREEZY! NNOOOOO! *kills evil dudes* And a fat Pikachu. A fire-type Pikachu. HA HA HA! And Missingno. a dead Pokemon... Guess that's your opinion though it's sort of a glitch.

Now, if you really need good marks, you MUST put more description and longer battles. Okay? Don't worry, you'll get better in time. Have fun with chapter four! (Description!)

Uhhh... sorry episode four is taking so long... just to prove I'm still working on it, here's a little spoiler...

[SPOIL]"Huh? What was that?" Becki thought to herself as a black Pokemon whizzed by. It stopped, looked to see if there was any humans around, and took a drink out of the pond across from the flower shop. "Oh cool, it looks like a black Espeon crossed with a Mew! I want it!" she smirked to herself, chasing after the black Pokemon. As she raised her arm to throw a Master Ball at the Pokemon, it looked at her with it's bright bluish purple eyes and with a flash, disappeared, causing Becki to trip up.[/SPOIL]
