Clarification on transform...

I am well aware that the health of ditto doesn't change, but do the other stats reflect the opponents?

I mostly was just planning on putting ditto on my team as a novelty pokemon, but with those stats, he might not even be good at that...

All of its stats are transformed (except HP).

I think ditto cpoies the stats too.
Not EXACTLY as the pokemon but proportionate to it.
But I'm not really sure.

Good, I had an Idea of stalling for time against Deoxys (Timer Ball strategy) by transforming Ditto into Deoxys and walling his attacks. (on Leaf Green of course)

Smeargle has Slightly better HP, and a less awfull speed.

Ditto isn't the best choise. It has bad speed and probably would be beaten before transformation.

iirc if your ditto has metal/speed powder it keeps the boosts after it has transformed.

I think Ditto takes his opponent's base stats. And Ditto's stats are recalculated according to level and EV's

Nope.It does not keep the boost after transformation.

Say, what happens if a slow Pokemon uses Mimic (as it's only move, of course) on Ditto, and then uses Transform?

Everything, from stats, ivs, evs, catch rates, appearances. Except hit points.

But remember kids, Ditto has an item to x2 its speed.

Ditto used Transform!
Smeargle used Sketch! Smeargle copied Ditto's Transform!
Trainer withdraws Smeargle! Go! Charizard!
Ditto used Mach Punch!
Charizard uses Flamethrower! (For the sake of situation, Ditto's still alive)
Ditto used Sketch! Ditto copied Charizard's Flamethrower!

No idea if that's possible to make it permanent... probably not... but I do remember my Gallade getting KO'ed over and over again by a Ditto Transformed into Gallade. XD
