close call

it was thursday and me and my mom went to wal-mart.

I looked at there pokemon cards and I saw a package that said there was 12 packs for only $20 bucks, I figured I was getting 6 card packs for free and told my mom and she said I could but when I went back to look at it again even closer I saw where it said *trading card pack* it said *trading card pack* IN A DIFFRENT LANAUGE. (they were like in german,spannish and some other)

I was releaved and sad at the same time >.<

and it had 3 fossil,3 basic,1 dragon,2 hidden legends,2 sandstorm and a team rocket.

only 6 were in english.

I told my mom and she said thats why there so cheap.

have you had any close calls like this with pokemon cards?

I have seen those at wal-mart and target, where all the cards are promos >.<

Yup,I was at Wal-Mart and I sighed when someone else bought it and complained,so I knew they were fake,yes they were promos

there is a store I go to it called book and toy, anyways they had the old packs and they have this weird symbol that I've never seen before.

I LIKE the foreign packs. I have a bunch of cards in different languages.

As long as they're not fakes, they're interesting to have, and you can still use them in a deck as long as you print out the card text from the Card-Dex as a reference.

Some,I think in Japenese stores or a local stationary store that sells cards do

have u tried KingsPlaza,they have one or more storesthat takes all kinds of cards,I was there

I live in a place that is boreing.

but the closest place that has that stuff would probly be jeff city?

I don't know if they even have card shops there.

but, I do know of a store that has 100% REAL old pokemon cards.

thats how I got to needing 50 old cards to like 10
