    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

It would definitely depend on the Pokemon. Taking care of something like Eevee would be pretty easy, it's already dog-like. I don't think something like Hydreigon or really any fully evolved one would be practical to own, though.

I believe it would be like any other pet,
except it may have the ability to breath Fire/Ice/Water/Whatever.
and it would probably understand you, and not just look weird at you, before going off sleeping somewhere (Thank you, Petter the cat)

I'd actually love that. I could start as a grunt, and eventually overthrow the leader of the entire team. I'd like to spend time controlling the team as their leader as well.

And the good thing about owning a Water-Type, such as Vaporeon would be it teaching you how to swim! ^_^

Or another would be a Flareon! ^_^ Think about it: It's winter, you're under blankets but still freezing! But then who's there?! Flareon to warm you up! :) Plus, from what I've seen, it's extremely lazy and I'd want a lazy Flareon ^_^

It would be a really interesting concept - but one that'll probably never happen simply because Pokémon is a kid's game and Nintendo probably would not want to make a game about trying to take over the world via evil deeds.

I'd still like to see it though, especially Team Galactic. I think it'd be really interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes of all the villainous teams.

i have already fought anything like this,originally was for a pokemon online,but my idea was the pokemon with the bigest map ever,since you could start in any continent,at beggining you could chose betwen a starter trainer in the new continent,a member of team aqua,team magma at hoen,team galatic at shinoh,rocket at kanto and jhoto or police oficer,everyone with a single story and objectives that would make the storys betwen themselves and make the most epic pokemon adventure

Maybe it could end as you converting into a good guy. Maybe at the end after rising to the top you can turn on your leader and side with the 'Champion' and become good. Or choose to beat the 'Champion' and reign the entire team. Might be a really fun game if GameFreak puts a lot of efforts into it!

yep,back in past it would be impossible to do a game like this,but with the 3ds and the upcoming wiiu i think there is engough capacity to do a game like this,if they dont make big improovements and graphics and sound,that for me is unecessary since the CG pokemon were the most criticezed(colosseum and battle revolution)with beautiful ghrafics
