THE MANNIS ARISES
Dragon:
Covered in scales that are resistant to water and fire but grow brittle in extreme cold. They avoid cold since their metabolism slows down but also tend to avoid other dragons that have the strength to inflict damage on them. They attack using fire and powerful physical attacks.

Fire:
Their body mostly consists of lava. The outer body cools off when exposed to the colder climate but the inner body remains hot. They can use this lava to attack others when needed. Holding them could result into burns on holder skin.

I don't think you know what scientifically plausible means...

STEEL.. steel type pokemon are born made out of steel (from head to toes) some including their inside's. Because of this, they tend to be very heavy, therefore slow. Steel can melt at very high temperature, that's why they are super effective to fire.

oh hai there
Poison is effective against grass because they poison their roots and slowly kill them, not effective against rock types because the poison doesn't effect things that don't have organs so it feels like a normal attack to rock types and no effect on steel because the sharp pin or whatever with poison cannot go in to the body of a steel type because it is hard thus no poison meaning it doesn't even feel anything. They are born with poison in their bodies, like snakes.

I'd love to hear someone explain Ghost and Psychic types :)

Challenge accepted, (·-·)(o_O).

Ghost types' bodies are made of thousands of tiny clone organisms which act as a hivemind, rather like siphonophores. They appear to pass through walls because the individual polyps can detach from one another and squirm their way through tiny gaps. Levitation is possible because certain polyps are adapted to contain methane gas produced from decaying food. Ghost-type attacks such as shadow ball are merely excretions of dead polyps coupled with a weak neurotoxin. The dead polyps obstruct other ghosts' polyp secretions, preventing the hivemind from functioning so well.

This neurotoxin is the reason why psychic types are so weak to ghosts' attacks, since it blocks many of their synapses and bonds to their neurotransmitters . Psychic types are able to manipulate matter due to their specialised coiled neurones, which can generate an electromagnetic field strong enough to counteract gravity. The neurones are coiled around iron deposits to increase their strength and travel far into their bodies.

The ghost and psychic types' weakness to dark type moves and the dark type's resistance and immunity to said types respectively are the result of dark types being able to not give a toss about scientific explanation.

Bug-
The world of Pokemon has purer, cleaner air, and more nutritious, enriching food. This caused the arthropod animals, from Wurple to Ariados, to grow, and grow, and grow. They shed their skin a lot more often compared to our bugs.

Flying- The clean air in the world-of-pokemon is thicker, and allows larger birds to fly. These flying types have follow bones, just like on Earth, and are very efficient hunters.

Well ice types have the ability to freeze the moisture in the air and convert it to ice or frost, which it then uses to throw at the opponent. Thus for example creating Ice Beam.

I think what contributes more to bug size is climate. Bugs are bigger in regions like Africa because during the winter, the temperature doesn't kill them (and the ground doesn't freeze), allowing them to grow and grow. (Meanwhile, most bugs in the US aren't so big because our winters freeze our ground.)

And I'm googling "insects die of pollution" and all I'm coming up with is artificial light-based pollution. I'm not sure how plausible this explanation is.

Well ice types have the ability to freeze the moisture in the air and convert it to ice or frost, which it then uses to throw at the opponent. Thus for example creating Ice Beam.

Yeah, but how do they freeze the moisture in the air? How do they convert it to ice? That's the scientific part, not the parts we already know about.

Looking for Mew, Celebi, Jirachi or Deoxys.

Trying to complete pokedex and I need any event legendary except for Arceus, Victini and Darkrai. Willing to trade Arceus and Darkrai for any event legendary, preferably mew or celebi though.

I have:
- Lv.100 Arceus, Multitype, Mild Nature (never been in battle)
- Lv.50 Darkrai, Bad Dreams, Relaxed Nature (never been in battle)
- Lv.50 Drakrai, Bad Dreams, Lonely Nature (never been in battle)

If you have another pokemon you would like me to offer instead just message me and I can breed for you. I have all pokemon from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th gen. (aside from ones mentioned)

Not looking for any specific nature or ability, i just need them to complete the dex, never gonna use them in battle anyways.
