I was looking through random pokemon's Pokedex Entries on Serebii.net, and I clicked on Corosola, I noticed that it said for the silver pokedex entry, "Silver: In a south sea nation, the people live in communities that are built on groups of these Pokémon" In Ruby Saphire wasn't this Pacifidlog town? So, is there some clues in R/S/E Pokedex entries for D/P pokemon?

How I wish. I don't think so, though. Maybe, but I haven't committed the pokedex to memory yet, lol.

yeah well when they had mews entry on red where they said:
so rare that it is still said to be a mirage by many experts.

was that hinting that the fact they would make the da*m thing almost impossible to see in R/S/E/LG/FR?

Didn't they have that on the anime though? On that Master Quest episode, "A Corsola Caper".

Clearly we're great!
Didn't the person in Pacifidlog who says that also basicaly say they were lying? At least that's what I got out of "If I told you that, would you believe me?"

Or maybe the people who designed Pacificlog got the idea from the pokedex. (Like, the guy who wrote it got promoted to town-designing or something...) So it wasn't intended, but then it became true. Because it does seem like it's too perfect for coincidence, but also weird that they'd be thinking about the third game set while they made the second.

Which means...maybe the pokedex WILL have ideas for the next game. Wasn't Corphish invasive? Maybe it's a native of the newest region.

Izit cuz I is black?
It's more of a "town created from a previous concept in another game's pokedex" rather than a "make a pokedex entry and follow it up in our next game". They developed an old idea, while they may not have always intended on doing so. Besides, they were trying to be a lot more original with the towns in RSE- look at Sootopolis or Fortree.

I agree. In every game, they seem to develop more on the concepts introduced in the first- a great example is the happiness element, introduced with Pikachu in Yellow (and, to a lesser extent, the use of items to raise happiness- think the glitch where, if one repeatedly tried to feed a full-strength Pikachu a Potion, his happiness would increase.)

That said, it's an interesting concept that you bring up- what elements will Nintendo develop in the next games? I have the feeling that they'll be developing the breeding feature even more, with all of the newly-introduced baby forms, and perhaps also working with evolution (maybe Manyuura will evolve differently.) I'll run through the Pokedex and see if anything pops up at me. I would love to see them do more interesting things with the geography; I love the complications that were put into R/S/E's map. It was really a well-designed area with lots of different ecosystems, for lack of a better term- even down to the windward and leeward sides of the mountains, one the utopian Verdanturf and the other the rougher-edged Fallarbor. That was a great touch.
