Colleseum or XD

i don't have XD but i have rented it and from what i have seen i like colo better so i would say colo but i haven't beat it yet and it can be challenging if you don't train one of your starter which i did to make it hard plus in colo you get two starters not just one

edit:in other words if you want a hard one colo if you want one that is a little easier

Vampiric Knight

Dance with the Devil
Advantages of Colosseum:
- Johto Pokemon (including Ho-oh :D)
- Rare berries
- Useful items

Advantages of XD:
- Almost twice the shadow Pokemon in Colosseum
- Wild Pokemon
- Johto starters
- Rare berries
- Rare & useful items
- Move tutor/relearner
- Ability to save anywhere instead at a PC

...might be missing some things, but anyway, XD wins.

Colloseum. I havn't really played either, but Colloseum has a far nicer range of Pokemon as opposed to XD's boring slew of Kanto krap. Delibird, Misdreavus, Quilava, Gligar, Ursaring, Heracross, Raikou, Ariados, and many other favourites of mine.
XD looks alot more complex, though....

^^^Yes you did. You forgot

-If you get mew in it, and you beat the game, see someone by MT. Battle, answer his questions, pay him 1,000 pokedollars, and he'll let you choose 4 moves to teach your Mew. Any move.

Ice Trainer
Well after looking at both of the lists of available pokemon Id say id go with Colloseum because Xd has alot of pokemon that you could easily obtain in the Advance games. But i think Xd looks better and I want that one personally.

Yeah, but most of those moves are move tutor moves, level up moves, and TM moves. The others are moves that he actually doesn't learn, but they're crap, anyway. ¬¬ Besides, I don't think anybody could get a Mew at the moment without a cheating device.

Not really. There is a lot more things to do, though, even after beating the game. The only thing I could think of that is complex in it is the Orre Colosseum.

More things to add:
- Unlearnable and egg moves shadow Pokemon learn (like psycho boost, extrasensory, etc.)
- 4th gen. Pokemon cameos

You are wrong. You are able to teach him EVERY single move. Even ones that aren't TMs or HMs.

Nope. These are the moves that Mew CAN'T learn:

- Faint attack
- Fake out
- Hypnosis
- Night shade
- Trick
- Zap cannon

Others are as I said; Move tutors, TMs, and level up.

You're wrong again. My brother's right here and he says that the guy'll teach him those, too. Plus I have the guide book which is where I got it first.

what Vampiric Knight means is, Mew can't learn those moves. With the move tutor however, they are mew's special moves, much like the special moves a shadow pokemon knows when purified.

I say that you should get Colo first. You need to know what happens first, right? Playing the sequel would just pretty much ruin it... and, you would want to have some reminders of Colo, since it sort of brings back memories in XD. So, I think Colo is what you should get first, and XD can be the continuing story.

Well, it depends on the games you already have. If you have RSE, then get XD, because many of the Shadow Pokemon are from Kanto. If you have FrLg, then get Colosseum, because many of the Shadow Pokemon from there are still available, but harder to get. If you hae both, well, let's look at the advantages:
Colosseum:
All Johto Starters easily available
Rare berries that are harder to get in other versions
Berries that can't be gotten in other versions
The only game Ho-oh can be captured in without a Mysticticket

XD:
Easier access to many "exclusive" Pokemon, such as Electabuzz, Magmar, Weepinbell, Scyther, and more
Rare berries that are harder to get in other versions
The only game Lugia can be captured in without a Mysticticket
All Shadow Pokemon have special moves they can't learn any other way
Move Tutors
More TM's than Colosseum

I may be forgetting some stuff, but that's basically the advantages of each. If I were you, I'd try to get both, and play Colloseum first, because XD has major spoilers for most of Colosseum's storyline.

Volteon

Back I guess??
Yes, Pokémon XD is many times better than colosseum, among all of my 4 game cube games (OOOHHHH so many games! ;_; ) pokémon colosseum is the worst and XD is the second best, just losing to SA2B.
