Colloseum trading

Sorry for making a separate thread, but I can't find a Colloseum FAQ page.

What do you need to trade a pokemon from Colloseum to Ruby/FRLG/et al? I tried to plug my Gameboy Advanced linkup cable into the numerous empty slots on my GameCube, and probably damaged the darned cable. Is there some slot on the GameCube for linking up, or do I have to buy some special equipment? Please let me know, because I'm dying to trade my meganium over so I can get a chikorita.

That's very wrongly done.

In order to trade between Colosseum and the GBA carts, you need a special cable, which has a port to connect to the GCN Controller ports and the GBA Cable input. It's named GBA-GCN Cable. It's purple.

you need to have finished colosseum and have a GC-GBA cable specially made to link up the GBa to the GC. Just buy one!

Complete colosseum and then you and battle/trade with your GBA

Okay, thanks guys! I'll check at my local game stores and see if any of them have a cable for trading. I'm nowhere near the end right now, so I'm glad I asked beforehand.

This thread can be closed now. And now I see the Colloseum FAQ is under the subthreads, so I'll know where to post other questions that come up, but I'm grateful for the help.
