Good places: About on par (Mostly the same)

Meh, Colosseum was better for its originality but I liked XD alot too.

I have both but IMO (yes, IMO), XD's better (even if I still like Colosseum) . IMO (yes, again), beter storyline, better trainers , better places and you can have WAY more pokemon in XD than in Colosseum.

I liked XD because it has more to the story mode, while Colosseum was mostly battle mode. But I've had good memories with Colosseum, so this was a tough poll.

It's very hard to choose, so I'm probably going to stay undecided. I loved both for many different reasons and both were awesome and original in their own ways ^_^

For the snagging part, I prefer XD but colo. was better for training. Greevil's team was (on average) lvl 48 but Evice had pokemon in the high fifties. I liked to use colo.'s story to train pokemon I usually would never in FR such as Ampharos and Spheal (XD)

That's because you started at Lv 25 in Colo, and there were less battles.

Trainers: XD. Some of them had references to Colo, some have other easter eggs, such as the woman from Mt Battle Area 4 mentioning James from the anime.

Story: XD. In Colosseum, it's known about Cipher a lot. In XD, people are back to their normal lives, when suddenly Cipher returns, kidnapping Prof Krane, then the story is about rescuing Krane. When he's rescued, we find out about what Cipher's return is about, then the story changes to snag all shadows and discover who's behind the plan.

Places: XD. The only place in XD not there from Colo is The Under, but that was really only a place there for Cipher's first attack. With places like Gateon Port, Pokespots and the HQ lab, it's made up for.

Overall, XD.

Even though the number of shadows was really annoying and greevil made me want to rip out my hair I like XD better.

I loove both almost equally. XD is a much better game overall, but Colosseum has better characters IMO.

I love everything that has to do with them, and I'm glad XD continued the Colosseum story. ^^

What you said there..

but really, most of the trainers in places from Colosseum are the same.. with just the age differing.

I suppose I could say I like XD more, but my primary reason is because of the save option, so it's not that much. The other stuff are still good, both Colosseum and XD, regardless if XD is a sequel only.

So, I choose to be neutral. :3

XD. Colleseum was good, but I don't like starting with semi-uber pokemon, especially when they're as high as 25. At least you start with a level 10 Eevee and can choose what it evolves into......and I like being able to save anywhere. I still don't like how everything is 2V2. Almost NO 1V1.

I definitely like XD better because Colosseum never had the Purification Chamber. Purifying Shadow Pokemon in XD is a whole lot faster than Colosseum because of the PC. Plus, the Battle Now in XD can be played with 2 players (although some of the pokemon in BN have somewhat lousy movesets).

I prefer Colosseum all the way. Most of XD's shadow pokemon were already available in other games, while most of colo's were not(at least at the time). Colo has better characters(especially Wes!), a better and longer storyline (I finished XD in 2 weeks, while colo took me about 2 months), better places(Why'd they get rid of the Under?), and better graphics in my opinion. XD had me excited at first when I saw XD001, but it disappointed me when I got the game. Sure it gave me the usual "thrill of the battle" and all, but it seemed like it was just a copy of colo. Nothing's as good as the original 3-D RPG.

EDIT: Also, I HATE THE PURIFICATION CHAMBER! I'm just one of those people that prefers the old method of shadow pokemon purification.

Colloseeum. They had the stadium mode I liked then XD got rid of it! My favorite of all pokemon games is Pokemon Stadium 2.
