Ash and co. arrive in a town called Teal town. Ash and co. enter the pokemon center. While there they meet a trainer named Monte who loves fire pokemon. He collects them and is really intrested in Ash's Torkoal and May's Combuskin. They play together and have a nice dinner. While they are asleep, Monte sneaks into their rooms and takes combuskin but he cant find torkoal so he settles for one. When may awakes and discovers that her Pokemon is gone, she freaks out and wakes the whole place. They search for the Pokemon but have no luck. Than they see Monte with the combuskinbut he runs at the first sight of them. He runs into the woods where he meets team rocket. They con him into helping to take the restof the pokemon. When they arrive Monte uses his Quilava to fight them. His pokemon is extremely strong and to make things worse, it evolves into Typhlosion in the middle of the fight. Typhlosion knocks out Grovyle, Pikachu and Beutifly. Those are the only pokemon on pur heroes because the rest are still at the center. With both sides out of breath, Team rocket double crosses Monte and steals not only Grovyle, pikachu and beautifly but typhlosion and Combuskin too. Monte cries over this but may comforts him, promising to get his pokemon back. Timmy encouraged by May's words sends out his other Pokemon, Camerupt. Camerupt, uses eruption to burn up the balloon.(the meoth one) This releases th captured Pokemon. Than they all combine their attacks and it sends team rocket blasting away again. They return to the town. They have a meal, enjoy a good nights sleep. Than the next morning, they say farewell to Monte and he apoligies for all the trouble he caused. May forgives him and they wave goodbye as they go on to their next destination.
