This is quite nice. I like how you've used the comic medium to express some deeper ideas than we usually see here. Being fond of Ho-oh, I'm glad to see you've really been showing us his(/her/its) character. :) I can see you're not a bad artist, either.

I wish it was a bit easier to read, though. That would really boost reader enjoyment. Anything you can do about that?

But like I said, you've done a great job with this. I'd love to see more comics in this vein! Keep up the good work!

I'd blame the scanner for the unreadable text. A solution to this is that you can scan it in at a higher resolution (your scanner settings might call it "dpi" or "d/cm"), then shrink it down with a non-Paint graphics program.

I'd also like to say that those aren't quite the ideal shape for speech balloons, especially when you intend to put that much text into each one. My advice: Write all the text normally, then draw the balloon, so you don't have to squeeze what you wanted into a space you might ahve accidentally made too small. (Too large is rarely a problem.)

Yeah, it is the scanner's falt. I don't know how to change it so I'll ask my dad when he gets home. I fairly new at comics not for 2nd graders. I had a younger kid based comic called "Davie Duck and Friends"...
Anyway, if you visit my art shop and click on the example of a dragon I'm very pleased with you can see it (duh) and that is probably one of my best drawings yet! I'm not trying to advertise, just show you my best drawing. Actually, here it is!
