It's Regidrago!

Competitive...kinda
Behold the newest of all the Regi Golems! Regidrago! Possessing absurd HP, reasonable defenses (In light of said HP), balanced physical and special attack, and a "comparatively" wide offensive movepool, given the choice between Regieleki and our dragon orb boi, I definitely recommend choosing the Dragon type Regi over the Electric one. Sure it doesn't have the blistering speed of Regieleki, in fact Regidrago's base 80 speed is its biggest turn off, but this Dragon Stone has better versatility that the other just can't compete with.

Drake of Dance
Ability: Dragon Maw (Dragon attack are boosted by 50%!)
Item: Life Orb/Dragon Fang
Nature: Jolly (+Speed -Sp.Attack)
EVs: (HP 4) (Attack 252) (Speed 252)

Moves
Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw/Outrage/Scale Shot
Fire Fang
Body Slam/Thunder Fang/Explosion/Dragon Energy

Set Details:
A straightforward Dragon Dance set that turns Regidrago into a physical sweeper. Dragon Dance shores up its physical attack while rectifying the average speed stat into something much more scary. And thanks to that large HP and workable defenses you might even be able to get in an extra Dragon Dance. Next comes the all important Dragon STAB, which thanks to its ability Dragon's Maw will get the equivalent of a Choice Band attack boost, and which option you go with is ultimately up to your playstyle. Dragon Claw has the most consistent power with no drawbacks or bonuses, Outrage has stupid amounts of power allowing you to decimate entire teams...until they send in their Fairy type and completely counter you (x_X), and Scale Shot while inconsistent in its power has the added bonus of boosting your speed while dealing damage (If you can get in at least 3 hits you are at about the same damage as a regular Dragon Claw). Fire Fang is a no-brainer for coverage since it handles the Steel types, most notably Ferrothorn and the Bug/Steels. And the last coverage move is a matter of preference. Body Slam has great all around neutral coverage with an added 30% chance of paralysis, Thunder Fang can surprise the surplus of Water and Flying types (Though usually your Dragon Maw STAB still does more damage), and Explosion is there as a last ditch effort to KO an opponent when you know you're about to go down, and sadly it's really your only option to handle Fairy types with any reasonable damage. Life Orb or Dragon Fang boosts your power even further, and your nature/EVs all go into attack but mostly speed.

Lindwurm Magic
Ability: Dragon's Maw
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid (+Speed -Attack)
EVs: (HP 4) (Sp.Attack 252) (Speed 252)

Moves:
Dragon Energy
Dragon Pulse
Ancient Power...
Round? (-_-)'

Set Details:
Okay, I'll be honest that this set kinda sucks. But it seems like a shame that we can't fully utilize Regidrago's signature move unless we focus on the special attack...with few other special attacking options. Dragon Energy is basically Water Spout only in Dragon type form. The Choice Scarf allows Regidrago to outspeed several threats, and thanks to the abysmal special movepool, restricting its other moves is not a heavy tradeoff. Between a base 150 STAB combined with a 50% boost from Dragon's Maw, this magical dragon orb can lay waste to anything that isn't a Fairy type or a specially defensive Steel type. Once your HP gets to around half you should shift to using Dragon Pulse instead to deal more damage. Sadly the offensive movepool is shallow here. Not as much as Regieleki, but still shallow. Ancient Power has a small chance of granting an omniboost, and Round...oh who am I kidding? Why the %$#& did GameFreak take out Hidden Power this generation!?

The addition of new Regi definitely reopens the door as to their origin story in the Pokemon mythos. Why did Regigigas create these golems? Was it serve serve as guardians? How did it create them? And if they originally came from Regigigas, does that mean...I wonder if...

Yeah because having a Pokemon with huge HP but lacking the defenses to actually use it is very reasonable... Laughs in Guzzlord, Emboar and Wailord.

Regidrago is a One Trick Pony: Slam stuff with hideously powerful Dragon moves. Its Base Offenses are far too low to be workable with anything else outside of Dragon moves. On the Defensive side, Regidrago is somewhat durable, only being 2HKOd by anything that isn't a dedicated Wallbreaker or packing a super effective move (when uninvested)... and that's about it. Regidrago's movepool is so sparse that its only Support moves are Dual Screens. Regidrago gains nothing alone by soaking up hits and lacks the effective recovery move to do so for long.

Breath and Claw
Regidrago
Ability
: Dragon's Maw
Item: Choice Scarf
-Dragon Energy
-Dragon Claw
-Crunch/Hammer Arm
-Facade/Explosion
EVs: 252 ATK/4 DEF/252 SPE
Nature: Hasty (+SPE, -DEF) or Lonely (+SPE, -DEF)

So the idea is simple, bluff a Special set early in the match with Dragon Energy, then later in the match, or when your opponent sends out a dedicated Special Wall, surprise them with a Dragon Claw. Even uninvested, a full Power Dragon Energy is stronger than an Invested Dragon Claw.

0 SpA Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 243-286 (60.1 - 70.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Claw vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 180-213 (44.5 - 52.7%) -- 21.5% chance to 2HKO

Choice Scarf is to get the most Mileage out of Dragon Energy, allowing a +SPE nature Regidrago to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame not named Regieleki, Accelgor or Ninjask, and a Neutral Nature Regidrago to outspeed positive nature Weavile and slower. Dragon Claw is backup STAB when Dragon Energy starts falling off and to take care of Blissey, Nihilego and most things with an Assault Vest. Crunch and Hammer Arm are for Steel types, depending on if you want to manage Hammer Arm's speed drop, while Facade prevents Regidrago from being fodder when Burned or going up against Fairies while Explosion is a nice desperation move.

An uninvested Dragon Energy will 2HKO most of the game (re: not a Sponge, Assault Vest, Fairy or Steel type) when Regidrago is at full health and will OHKO anything on the frail side:

0 SpA Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Obstagoon: 288-339 (88 - 103.6%) -- 25% chance to OHKO (93 HP/81 SDEF)

0 SpA Dragon's Maw Regidrago Dragon Energy (123 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Marowak-Alola: 237-280 (90.8 - 107.2%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO (60/80)
^after 1 layer of Spikes or Stealth Rock

Checks and Counters
Fairy types
Regidrago has no answer for fairy types beyond what normal move it is packing. And any fairy will cleanly 1-2HKO Regidrago or use it as setup fodder.
Steel types Can resist the bulk of Regidrago's offense, but they MUST be sturdy on both sides of the Spectrum, as even a resisted Full Health Dragon Energy will sting. Bisharp does good against any Regidrago not running Hammer Arm
Priority/Entry Hazards -Regidrago's biggest threat by far is Dragon Energy, so anything that can ruin its power is recommended. Stealth Rock takes a tiny bit of sting off it (reducing the base power from 150 to 123-124) and most priority will reduce that further still. Weavile does great in this regard, as its Banded Ice Shard is a Clean 2HKO. Be wary when using weaker priority moves however -if the Regidrago is running Dragon Dance, it could use the priority move to setup on you which will make dealing with it that much more difficult without a Fairy type.

Yeah because having a Pokemon with huge HP but lacking the defenses to actually use it is very reasonable... Laughs in Guzzlord, Emboar and Wailord.
The big difference between those Pokemon (potentially with the exception of Emboar, who is a bit of a sleeper wallbreaker itself as it hits like a truck with Reckless-boosted Flare Blitzes) is that they lack offensive potential. Regidrago only somewhat lacks offensive potential... Thanks to Dragon's Maw providing an impressive 50% boost to its Dragon-type moves, it actually hits reasonably hard with its Dragon STAB. The problem is, that's really the only thing it hits hard with. With weak coverage options like the elemental Fangs and unimpressive 100/100 offensive stats, anything even slightly bulky that resists or is immune to Dragon is generally going to have an easy time taking on Regidrago. This encompasses most Steel and Fairy types. As you alluded to, its massive HP stat is undermined by pathetic defenses and a lack of recovery options, meaning it isn't nearly as good at taking hits as one might expect if they were to judge it by its fantastic HP alone.

All in all, definitely not a top-tier threat, but I'd say he's the better of the two new Regis and possibly the best Regi overall. Dragon Dance is also kind of a sleeper threat as he's plenty bulky enough to take a hit from most Pokemon and just fast enough to potentially sweep after a boost, but again this relies on common Fairy and Steel-type answers being removed or significantly weakened.
