    Mestorn Wandering Battler

When Mismagius was first introduced, it was a terrifying foe. Above average Speed and SATK, access to Nasty Plot and 3 immunities to provide setup opportunities made Mismagius a frightful sweeper in which an opening could have it tear holes in the opposing team. Fast forward 3 generations and the environment has changed drastically. Not only are many pokémon faster, stronger and more bulky, but Mismagius' below average HP and DEF make it vulnerable to the many Dark type moves (Pursuit, Sucker Punch, Knock Off) infesting the game. Even its decent SDEF is failed by its poor HP. However, Mismagius is a ghost type, which means it possesses are large grab bag of moves that can keep people guessing what its going to throw out next.

    A Witch's Boon or Curse
    Mismagius
    Ability: Levitate
    Item: Focus Sash
    -Heal Bell
    -Taunt
    -Foul Play
    -Destiny Bond/Memento
    EVs: 252 HP/4 DEF/252 SPE
Nature: Bold (+DEF, -ATK), Impish (+DEF, -SATK), Timid (+SPE, -ATK) or Jolly (+SPE,-SATK)

Support Mismagius. Heal Bell is a great clerical move, Taunt shuts down any opposing setup sweepers or tanks. Since Mismagius draws Physical Attackers, Foul Play can turn that around and makes it viable to run without attack Investment. Last move is up to preference. Destiny Bond can be a great for taking an opposing foe down with you but is easy to play around. Memento sacks Mismagius, but gives a setup opportunity to the Pokémon coming in after it. This set is a gimmick

    Other Options
Nasty Plot -Fantastic setup move and still a staple on Mismagius to this day. Mismagius has fantastic Neutral coverage in Shadow Ball and Dazzling gleam, enabling it to hit a wide variety of threats.
Mean Look+Perish Song/Curse -Trap and Perish Song is a common gimmick. Curse is worth a mention too. While the timer is longer than Perish Song, it is chunking an opponent each turn it is effect, meaning even if Mismagius is downed does not mean the opponent's worries are over.
Status + Hex -Debilitate opponent than hit them with a super power STAB. What's not to like?
