Gamefreak has a long history of customizable Pokemon as early as Deoxys, and have since come to include Pokemon like Rotom, Sawsbuck, Vivillon, Florges, Furfrou, and Oricorio. Fast forward to gen 8 and we have a dessert Pokemon where you can customize everything from its flavor to its toppings. I also think it's nifty you have to evolve it by literally spinning yourself in the overworld.
And while Alcreamie's form may be purely cosmetic, its prowess in battle is anything but. Possessing great special attack and bulk, assess to Recover, a wide offensive and support movepool, and a gigantamax form that can heal damage and dish it out, this pile of whipped cream is anything but fluff.

Set Details:
A special tank set. Boost damage output and special defense with Calm Mind and heal off damage with Recover as you accumulate boosts. Your STAB is your choice as Dazzling Gleam has more power, but Draining Kiss and it's 75% drain rate can do wonders for keeping you in the battle while maintaining offensive pressure. Finally we have our coverage moves with Mystical Fire which has the widest neutral coverage, counters Steel types, and offers special attack drops making Alcreamie even harder to KO with special attacks. Psychic is an option too since it has more power and counters Poison types and Fire types better. Leftovers keeps your health up, invest everything into HP and defense to shore up your lower bulk stats, and ability choice is up to you since it is hard to pass up sleep immunity or move restriction immunity.
You can mix and match any of the afore mentioned six moves to best suit your needs really. You can drop Recover or Calm Mind to run both coverage moves, though dropping Recover means Draining Kiss is a must, and pairing it with Big Root as a held item can heal off impressive amounts nearly at near 100% drain efficiency.

A double wall tank set. Boost special attack and defense with Calm Mind and boost physical defense with Acid Armor. Heal off damage with Recover as you raise your defense stats, though Draining Kiss can work too. Finally your sole attacking move is down to either your reliable Dazzling Gleam STAB, or Stored Power which has massive damage potential once you have a few boosts under your belt. Same stats, ability, and held item as before in the previous set.
So don't pass on this devastating dessert. At the very least Alcreamie is deserving of a competitive taste test. Not literally though:
