Spiders Can Really bite...
Recommended Nature: Adamant
Ability: Swarm / Unnerve
Evs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Item: Life Orb / Muscle Band
-Wild Charge
-X Scissor
-Sucker Punch
-Screech / Agility / Thunder Wave

Ok, so, I know it's weird seeing a Physical Galvanutla, but I don't see why it couldn't work. Glavantula's attack is only 20 below its Special attack, so give it a Nature Increasing its attack, EVs increasing it attack, and an Item that increases its moves' power and you can overcome the lack of Stat boosting Moves in the Attacking department.
Screech is your only option for making Galvanutla a potential Sweeper, and It needs to be done on every Pokemon to work. I'd rather use Agility or Thunder Wave [The Latter really] so that Galvanutla is definitely going to be the speediest on the field.
Wild Charge and X-scissor are its STAB Physical moves, and Sucker Punch is Priority.

I. Hate. Spiders.
Recommended Nature: Modest / Timid
Ability: Unnerve / Compundeyes
Evs: 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Item: Wise Glasses / Life Orb
-Volt Switch
-Toxic / Thunder Wave
-Double Team
-Gastro Acid / Signal Beam

A lovely little Rage inducing set for Galvantula. Volt Switch allows a Switch out with damage attached, and STAB damage at that. Double Team increases evasiveness meaning it's nigh on impossible to hit Galvantula. Toxic induced a dooming status that takes out everything that isn't Poison or Steel, especially useful when combined with Double Team. or you could use Thunder Wave to make them slower ant to make them able to attack even less frequently.
Then you have one more slot open. You cna eitehr choose Gastro Acid to nullify abilities [Speed Boost Blaziken is stopped in his Tracks, Thundurus no longer has Priority, Excadrill, Kingdra and other Weather Abilities lose their usefulness] or Signal Beam for damage. Using Volt Switch on a Toxicated foe isn't always what you want. Signal beam, though weaker, also has the chance of confusion making three barriers between your opponent's attacks and Galvantula.

Target Locked. Fire.
Recommended Nature: Modest
Ability:
Evs: 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Item: Wide Lens
-Thunder
-Bug Buzz
-Energy Ball
-Gastro Acid / Thunder Wave / Charge beam

This is probably the most common set. Compoundeyes and Wide Lens combination to make Thunder Accurate and the other moves super-accurate.
Thunder is a Powerful STAB. Bug Buzz is another. Energy Ball takes out rock types which threaten Galvantula, as well as ground types.
Then you can either have Gastro Acid for making Abilities useless, Thunder Wave to lower Speed, or Charge beam, the only Special Attack raising move Galvantula knows, that also deals a little damage when it's used [sometimes].

OVERVIEW

Galvantula is definitely a formidable opponent. Great Speed allows it to tie with the Musketeers and Infernape, and a decent 97 base Special Attack can hurt. Combine this with a wide movepool and a fabled Compundeyes Thunder, Galvantula can wreak havoc on many foes.

However, he isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Incredible frailness makes it die to common attacks in one or two hits, and is quite outclassed by Thundurus, which is faster, has priority Nasty Plot, priority Taunt and more power. However, if you play the Elespider Pokemon to its strengths, you will not be disappointed.

Puttin' some glasses o'er those Compoundeyes

Galvantula@Choice Specs
Compoundeyes
Modest/Timid (+SpA, -Atk/+Spe, -Atk)
4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
Thunder
Bug Buzz
Energy Ball
HP Ice/HP Fire

One of the most formidable sets this bug can run. Thunder, when paired with Compoundeyes gives you a 91%, 120 BP STAB move with a 30% paralysis chance, further boosted by Specs. Bug Buzz is another STAB move, while Energy Ball and your choice of Hidden Power are coverage.

Certified Trapper

Galvantula@ Life Orb/Leftovers
Compoundeyes/Unnerve
Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
248 HP/8 SpA/252 Spe
Spider Web
Agility
Electro Ball
HP Ice/Energy Ball

This is certainly an odd set. Spider Web something that cannot harm you in any way, shape or form like Forretress, and start Agilitying. Once you hit max Speed, Electro Ball will maim any non-Ground switch-ins, while HP Ice or Energy Ball handles Ground ones.

He Will Not Spare Your Life (Orb)

Galvantula@Life Orb
Compoundeyes
Modest/Timid (+SpA, -Atk/+Spe, -Atk)
4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
Thunder
Bug Buzz
Energy Ball
HP Ice/HP Fire

This looks exactly like the Specs set, but runs completely differently. With the Life Orb, Galvantula becomes a formidable opponent that can systematicaly choose the appropriate move to eradicate its opponent. Thunder is its most powerful STAB attack, with more accuracy than Rock Slide. Bug Buzz hits Grasses (bar Ferrothorn). Energy Ball for those bulky Grounds, while your choice of Hidden Power is for coverage.

Other Options

Physical Set: Generally a poor idea, as Galvy only has 77 base Attack, but he has a wide physical movepool including X-Scissor, Pursuit, and Wild Charge, but this is better done by Scizor.
Scarf: Could work as a revenge killer with Thunder/Energy Ball/HP Ice/Volt Switch.
Expert Belt: Fairly good as a Choice feigner, but LO or Choice Specs/Scarf is actually a far better idea.

Countering Galvantula

Ferrothorn resists everything that Galvantula can throw at it bar the rare HP Fire. Blissey is a cold stop to Galvantula with her massive special bulk. In the sand, Excadrill laughs at it. Generally, any Steel type can handle it. He isn't that hard to beat due to lack of boosting moves (bar Agility) and no priority (bar Sucker Punch, which runs off of its low Attack stat). Latios is also faster and can OHKO with Draco Meteor. Anything faster than it will easily beat it. Hell, even Crobat can KO with Heat Wave.

Galvantula could be a good Choice item user, here are two sets with those items...

Galvantula @ Choice Specs
Trait: Compoundeyes
Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk)
EVs: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Energy Ball
- HP Ice

This set bases all about Sp. Attack.
Thunder and Bug Buzz are STABs, Energy Ball and HP Ice for coverage.

Galvantula @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Compoundeyes
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
- Electro Ball
- Bug Buzz
- Thunder Wave
- HP Ice

And this one is all about Speed.
Thunder Wave to be more faster, and do more damage with Electro Ball.
Bug Buzz gives secondary STAB, and HP Ice covers Dragon-types and Gliscor/Landorus.

And what about a Physical Galvantula?
77 Base Attack is nothing to laugh at, and has his good moves.

Galvantula @ Leftovers
Trait: Unnerve/Swarm
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 60 HP/252 Atk/196 Spe
- Wild Charge
- X-Scissor
- Sucker Punch
- Poison Jab

Compoundeyes is useless here, so use Unnerve (to avoid Berries usage) or Swarm (to power up X-Scissor). The first two are STABs, Sucker Punch is for priority, and Poison Jab for coverage. HP EVs to fit with Wild Charge's recoil.

Thunder...well, obviously too good to pass up. Bug Buzz, the same. Thief is for the pokemon who are sooo relying on an item. Volt Switch is to leave if none of the above apply.

I know this is for battling, but the in-game application of this set is phenomenal also.
Robbing the wee beasties nets a lot of useful berries, mental herbs, et al.

It's worth noting that Life Orb Galvantula's Thunder is more powerful than Choice Specs Jolteon's Thunderbolt. The only set that should be there should be this one:

Galvantula @ Life Orb
Trait: Compoundeyes
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power (Ice) / Volt Switch

The EVs and nature are obvious. Modest nature can be used but with the demand for Speed, it isn't advised. Thunder, Bug Buzz, and Energy Ball are obvious choices. As for the last slot, you could use Hidden Power (Ice) for coverage or for those too lazy to get it, Volt Switch is another solid option.

Bug Catcher
Galvantula
MY Overview:

I wanted this Pokémon as soon as I saw it in the pre release pictures, it's cool. There is a reason this bug goes on my UU and Bug Teams as well. Galvantula's typing is truly unique, Electric and Bug which eliminates the Flying and Ground Weaknesses and compliment each of their offensive capability nicely a win-win, And a base 97 SP ATK with 108 Speed is nothing to laugh at. However, Galvantula really goes downhill from there. Galvantula has a very poor move pool, though it gives you enough to work with but that comes at the cost of making Galvantula nothing but predicable. Oh please don't get me started on the spiders defenses, base70 Hp and 60 Defenses makes for a glass cannon. One hit and he/she is pretty much toast. Thus, landing it a firm spot in the UU tier.

Abilities:
¬
Swarm(PDW): Quite useful, if your holding focus sash. Other than that, go with compound eyes.
Unnerve: Although not useless, it does not give anything to Galvantula, Compound Eyes is the better choice
Compound Eyes: Overall a good ability. When you pair it with stabbed Thunders, it becomes a superb ability. This raises Thunders accuracy from a 70 to a 91. Then if you decide match it with Wide Lens and you got a Thunder with base 180 power and 101 accuracy. Go with Compound Eyes pretty much every time.

Move Sets:

Thorantula the Spider God of Thunder!!!
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Energy Ball
- Bug Buzz
Item Attached: Wide Lens/Choice Specs
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs and Nature
Modest Nature (+SP ATK, -ATK)
4HP 252SPATK 252SPD
This set is the set I recommend using, in fact it's the only set I will recommend. Compound Eyes-Stabbed-Thunders is the basis of the set taking out most water and flying types with ease, not to mention it will still do serious damage to types that don't resist it. Volt Switch allows you to switch out from any slower counter and at least do some damage. Energy Ball takes out the Ground types such as Rhyperior and Swampert. Bug Buzz is the filler here, it is Galvantula most powerful stab move other than thunder and thunderbolt, and can take out Grass, Dark and Psychic types such as Umbreon. Now if you can either use Wide Lens or Choice Specs, just remember if you miss with thunder you can pretty much kiss your Galvantula good bye.

Let's Not Go With The Flow
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power [Ground]
-Energy Ball
-Bug Buzz
Item Attached: Choice Specs/Focus Shash
Ability: Swarm/Unnerve
EVs And Nature:
Modest Nature (+SP ATK, -ATK)/ Timid (+Speed, -ATK)
4HP 252SPATK 252SPD
Same as above, with two exceptions. Thunderbolt and is way more accurate than thunder. Hidden Power [Ground] takes out most Electric types. Note, that i dont reccomend using this set.

Counters
Electrics, do crazy well at resisting Galvantula's Thunders, just make sure they carry a non-electric attack, such as the faster Jolteon and the especially the ground immune Eelektross. Fire types, such as Typhlosion and Infernape, will easily 1HKO Galvantula. Charizard will even murder it, just make sure you are faster to avoid the Thunders. With that said, lets cut to the simple basics. Any wall, such as Registeel, that can absorb hits can do well against Galvantula. Above all else faster sweepers, like Gangar, Archeops, Durant, Tauros, Aerodactyl, ect..., are probably most effective, considering Galvantula is a glass cannon, and once hit is in serious trouble.

NOTE: I stongly reccomend not using any hidden power othen than ice (which you still shouldnt use), on a compound eyes sets with thunder. nuetral thunders will do more than 2x supper-effective hidden power. nuetral Bug Buzz will do almost as much damage as a 2x supperefective max base-power ice HP. And honestly even if HP it will do more damage, odds are it might not 1hko it, in which case bye bye galvantula! So dont risk it volt switch out to a better counter.

Galvantula can be an awesome sweeper, but honestly he doesn't have that good of a move pool. Sadly enough, he can be walled by a good ground type. But that's where energy ball comes in.

Counters

An Excadrill can counter him being part ground type-well that is IF the Galvantula isn't holding Choice Specs. Any bulky ground and grass resistant type is good. my most recommended counter is Aggron/Gigalith because having sturdy really helps. also any rock or steel types would be good (that is if they have a rock-type move).

Ok, as seeing Galvantula is one of my favs :33 good desing, epic special set, acces to many thing to cripple the enemy and so on and so far :)
Maybe I would only repeat the same as above but really, I love this little Spider.

Abilities:
Compundeyes: A free 30% Boos on Accuracy, making Thunder hitting with 91%.
Unnerve: Your foe, can't use their berrys nice it, mmm for me, not really.
Swarm: x1.3 on Bug when you have 1/3 or less on HP, not a good idea, but maybe it can work :B.

» Energy Ball
~ Okei, here's the standart set of Galvantula, Thunder is just a monster, 180BP and 91% is just amazing, Galvantula has access to Grass-Electric combo making a treath agains almost every water type; Hidden Power Ice or Fire, is what you need, Ice for a Pseudo BoltBeam coverage or Fire to hit steels ;D.

~ Yes, Unnerve really you would hate your foe using their Chery Berry or their Lum Berry to say Jajaja your T-wave was nothing :BB , anyway T-wave reduce the speed of our enemies, making Galvantula into a good user of Electro Ball; Bugg Buzz covers Darks and Psychic who want to kill our little spider, and Hidden Power will help us to get a Pseudo BoltBeam coverage, or deal agains annoying steel who would want to wall our moves.

Galvantula @Life Orb / Muscle Band
Trait: Unnerve / Swarm
Nature: Adamant / Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed

» Poison Jab / Cross Poison
~ I see this set above, and I really like it ;D so maybe I'm only copypasting it n.nU anyway, this set is simple and effective and well it covers a lot of thing, sorry for being too lazy to explain -O-

Well, Galvantula has a big problem, is too fragil (70/60/60) and weak to SR S: so, using a Spinner is a nice help to our spider :33

Set name: Obvious, specially offensive is obvious!
Item: Life Orb/Choice Specs/Expert Belt
Nature: Timid/Modest
Ability: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 SpAtk, 252 Spe, 4 SpDef
-Thunder
-Bug Buzz
-Volt Switch/Charge Beam/Hidden Power [Ice/Fire]
-Energy Ball/Hidden Power [Ice/Fire]
The most obvious set, very simple. Thunder is better than Thunderbolt due to 91 accuracy and 30% chance of paralisys. Bug Buzz is you secondary STAB and reliable finishing move. Also gets great coverage alongside Thunder. Volt Switch is a good scouting/finishing move, expecially since ground types won't switch in too often due to Bug Buzz and Energy Ball/HP [Ice]. Charge Beam can boost your Special Attack and allow you to sweep, just don't use it with specs. Energy Ball is great for bulky grounds capable of taking a Bug Buzz. HP [Ice] is for dragons and Gliscor, HP [Fire] is used to hit Ferrothorn, Steelix, Magnezone and Excadrill. Remember that you need 30 or lower IVs in Speed to get HP [Fire], so you won't speed tie with Infernape, Terrakion, Cobalion and Virizion. Life Orb gives you power and versatility, Choice Specs more power but you're Stealth Rock weak, so is not advisable, while Expert Belt can bluff a choice set and surprise an opponent. With Energy Ball and HP [Fire] you hit for super effective damage 10 out of 17 types, so it's a good option overall.
Timid nature is recomended because you will outspeed many more opponents. EV spread is obvious, just remember to put the last 4 EVs in SpDef to get an odd HP number and to prevent opponent pokemon with the ability Download from getting +1 Special Attack, as they are usually specially based.
Other options
I guess nothing... pretty much all its movepool is listed. Maybe Hidden Power [Water] if Camerupt is your worst nightmare ever... :-D
Partners
Rapid Spinner to get rid of Stealth Rock. Fast and frail sweepers to abuse Volt Switch more. Fire/Ice types kill bulky grass and bulky ground, while Galvantula kills waters in return. Powerful phisical attackers for special wall.
Counters
Try to guess... yep, Blissey/Chansey! Also Snorlax. Special walls in general assuming they aren't weak to electric/bug. Lightingrod Zapdos (if released) walls you forever unless you pack HP [ice] and easilly kills you. Camerupt does the same without HP [water]. Gliscor needs HP [ice].

Set name: WTF? Phisical spider?
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Hasty/Lonely
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 SpAtk
-Wild Charge
-X-Scissor
-Pursuit
-Energy Ball/Sucker Punch
This thing doesn't work, so don't use it. Just kidding, but really, the only good points of this set are the surprise value and some unespected pursuit kills. Wild Charge and X-Scissor are obvious, Pursuit is very nice for Psichics: you pack the Bug STAB so they will probably switch out, thus getting smacked by a boosted super effective Pursuit. Energy ball hits ground types and is usable with Life Orb. Sucker Punch gives you priority and comboes well with Pursuit. Item, EVs, Nature and Ability are obvious.
Other Options
Well, not much... Leech Life to gain some HP back frome the likes of Exeggutor and co... Pin Missle because it MIGHT break substitutes, sashes, sturdy... Cross Poison because cool and high crit rate and poison chance... Giga Impact bacause powerful and noob... seriously, Bug Bite to eat pinch berries is the only other move viable.
Partners
Same stuff listed before. At least common phisical walls are weak to one of your STABs (Skarmory, Waters, Cresselia, Claydol etc.)
Counters
Bulky opponents not weak to its STABS, and many more guys than the other set. 77 base attack isn't much...

Galvantula makes a good RU attacker. Great speed, interesting typing, good special attack, and CompoundThunder give it some options to work with.

Timid
Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Moves:
-Thunder
-Bug Buzz
-Energy Ball/Volt Switch
-HP Ice/Volt Switch/HP Fire

Pretty much all the good Galvantula sets are going to look like a variant of this. Thunder's horrible accuracy is mended quite well with Compound Eyes, making for a powerful STAB attack. Bug Buzz hits a few things in the RU tier like Cresselia for significant damage. Energy Ball is a good move for Galvantula, as it can have useful Grass coverage without relying on HP Grass. That in mind, HP Ice is now an option to hit a few Pokemon like Altaria harder than the other moves. Volt Switch is a good option over one of the coverage moves for a powerful hit-and-run attack, and is even more useful on the powerful Choice Specs version. HP Fire doesn't have too much meritt to my knowledge in RU and is mainly useful for hitting Ferrothorn in OU, where Galvantula is pretty much outclassed. It can still be an option, though, if you're scared to death of Parasect or something.

Abilities:
Compoundeyes: An excellent ability boosting up 1.3 accuracy which is useful for Thunder mostly.
Unnerve: Unnerve has some use, mostly for stopping berries like Sitrus or those ones like Yache that weaken moves.
Swarm: Swarm helps boosts up some of Galvantula's weaker bug moves but other than that its pretty not helpful since you need a third of your HP left.

Speedy Creeper
Nature: Modest/Timid
EV: 252 Sp. Att/ 252 Spd
Ability: Compundeyes
Item: Choice Scarf/Salac Berry
-Agility
-Electro Ball
-Thunder Wave/Electroweb
-Bug Buzz/ Gastro Acid

This set is designed for hitting fast and using Electro ball. Agility boosts up your speed by two levels and then Thunder Wave slows them down while paralyzing them but Electroweb does damage and lowers speed but both help lower the foes's speed. Bug Buzz is more of a filler move but has STAB which is useful, Gastro Acid nullifies Magic Guard Pokemon which don't get slowed down by Thunder Wave but these moves be replaced.

Crawling Around
Ability: Compoundeyes
Nature: Timid
EV: 252 Sp Att/ 252 Spd/ 4HP
Item: Choice Specs

-Volt Switch
-Bug Buzz
-Thunder
-Energy Ball/Hidden Power (Fire)

This set is used as Galvantula to scout and revenge kill foes and is nice since it is fast and has solid Sp. Attack. Volt Switch is there for Galvantula to scout and it gets STAB. Bug Buzz is a nice solid STAB move to add in with Volt Switch. Thunder is there because of the 91% Accuracy and to finish off strong foes like Dragonite and etc. The final moves are Hidden Power (Fire) which is there to hurt Ferrothorn, Magnezone and other steel types. Energy Ball is an option as well to defeat ground and rock types who are a threat to Galvantula.

Probably the most effective sweeping set. Thunder and Bug Buzz for the STAB move. Energy Ball to handle Rock types. Volt Switch is a must for a Choice Scarf set. Thunder Wave to cripple other Scarfers and useful with a Modest Nature for extra power. Substitute for a Sub and 3 Attacks set. Hidden Power [Fire] to kill Steels especially Ferrothorn and Forretress. Hidden Power [Ice] to hit Dragons and other shenanigans.

Personally, there's not alot to go with.

Unnerve w/ Life Orb/King's Rock/Wide Lens
Electroweb/Thunderbolt/Thunder/Wild Charge
Signal Beam/Bug Bite/X-Scissor
Faint Attack
Hidden Power [Fire/Fighting]

Fighting-Type HP is for Rock-Types; while Fire-Type HP is for Steel-Types. If you have someone with Rain Dance, you can use Thunder while equiped with Damp Rock.

Countering: A Fire/Rock-Type with High Attack, Sp Defence, and maybe Speed with Physical attacks. Bug, Dragon, Electric, Fighting, Ghost, Poison, or Steel-Types could also be used. Infernape and Zebstrika are some examples. Gallade, Dusknoir, Muk, Ninetails, Venusaur, Spiritomb, Hitmontop, Flareon, and Ferrothorn require Trick Room espically in Double and Triple battles.

Overview

Galvantula is a great Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Black and White. Now I know what you're thinking, "Great. Not another spider Pokemon!" But don't think that. Why? Because Galvantula is a LOT better than Ariados. Sure his defense is down, but look at everything else! It's not perfect, or good. It's... great? Yeah, you could call it great.

Abilities

Compoundeyes: Raises accuracy by 30%. Great with Thunder.
Unnerve: Prevents the opponent from eating berries. Meh, probally Galvan's worst ability.
Swarm: Increase's bug moves in a pinch. Stronger STAB basically.

Movesets

Spiders don't bite. They destroy.
Ability: Compoundeyes
Nature: Jolly
Signal Beam
Thunder
Energy Ball
Agility
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 health, 4 speed
Signal Beam takes out Psychics (Plus gives STAB). Thunder can take out everything now that it can hit. Energy Ball kills pesky Water and Ground types. Need some Speed? Then Agility is here for you!

Partners

Galvantula works well with a lot of Mons. Firstly, you can form an electric wall with Magnezone. Water types like Swampert can take out the stuff Galvantula is vulnerable to. Great buds. Also, a bulky Rock type like Rhyperior is great because when teamed up with Galvantula, they resist everything in the game.

Countering

Galvantula, like almost everything else, has counters. Rock/Steel and Ground types together will resist everything a Galvantula can throw at you, so Ryperior and Steelix work great. Those are the best.

Feel free to edit this information as much as you like, Reno.

GALVATULA! Beast! Seriously though, I own one.

The great thing about this guy is that it can perform 2 scary combos. One is the ever-popular screech-and-pursuit, which gets rid of bulky phsychics and ghosts. Another is it's own special combo, compound eyes and thunder, which I have. The worst part about the second combo is that it can induce paralysis, meaning that switching Blissey in may turn for the worse.

Thunder. One of the most powerful electric type moves, and this guy can easily spam it down on foes as if it were rain. Then add Bug buzz and energy ball for coverage. Not to mention Bug buzz is stab. Volt switch is for scouting, but can cut a good slice of hp if the foe is either weak to it, or if it has a low special defense in general. Hidden power is great... I suppose, but it requires more special defense IVs for higher power, and this thing should have more special attack.

This is interesting. Wild charge is great, and with Unnerve, it overcomes a Gyrados' Wacan berry, which can be pretty annoying. X-scizzor is mainly for power, but Bug bite is useful for eating a helpful berry, like a Liechi berry. Cross poison is a filler, but a nasty one at that. Poisoning, and a high crit rate? I know some frown at crits, but its still awesome. Then theres your other fillers, pursuit for when a foe switches, sucker punch against an attack, screech to possibly cause switches, and as mentioned, great with pursuit. And then, finally, U-turn for scouting.

Ps. I typed all of this via IPod touch. Took me 3 hours. And I am text savvy, lol. So I hope some of this will be on the potw page for Gavlatula. Or, at the least, the Cross poison part.

Yea im pretty sure Galv is an NU that is possible playability in OU like Gastro! So anyway, Thunder abuses the accuracy boost really well in which case wide lens can be used for perfect accuracy over LOs extra power. Bug Buzz is STAB that gets good coverage on Psychics and Darks etc. The last 2 are a toss up depending on what you want Galvantula to do, Energy Ball is for the oh so common bulky waters that are now in UU/NU *cough* Gastro, Quag, Swampert *cough* and bulky grounds and rocks in OU *cough* Hippowdon, Terrakion *cough*. Volt Switch scouts if you predict a switch. Hidden Power [Ice] is pretty much solely for OU, it hits dragons and others really well, I'm looking at you Gliscor and Lando. Hidden Power [Fire] is really only for OU as well, for hitting Ferro and Forretress, as well as Scizor and such.
