The only good thing about Emboar is that his Reckless Head Smash is stronger than Tyranitar's Stone Edge. A Choice Band Reckless set hits harder than just about anything else (it compares to Specs Porygon Z).

Flare Blitz / (fighting move) / Head Smash / (electric Take Down). Not much can switch in on this. Even Physical Skarmory is 2HKOed by pretty much any move. Sure it won't last long but with a Jolly nature and 252 speed EVs you can at least outrun Tyranitar, Scizor and Nattorei.

Play him in a tier with team preview and predict well and it could very well wipe out several Pokemon before going down.

Why wasn't head smash mentoned even a single time? It has reckless and a huge HP to take the recoil, so why is it never used over stone edge?

Blame it on Reno? You have to give him credit though "The hoggles, they do nothing!" was a creative and funny reference.

I'll see if it can be added in at least as an option since its pretty much THE ONLY thing hog can do that the other fire/fighters can't.
