Here are some ideas of mine:
Venomoth@Leftovers
Trait: Color Glasses
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sleep Powder
- Poison Spikes
- Bug Upheavel
- Psychic/Energy Ball/Stun Spore/Toxic/Feather Rest
Venomoth is fairly speedy (90) and can force switches with Sleep Powder, so Poison Spikes could actually work with it. The threat of Bug Upheavel coming off a base 90 Special Attack could also scare some Grass and Dark types into switching, though most Psychic types would probably just attack poor Venomoth. A few options in the last slot, the choice depending on what your team lacks (or if you think Venomoth could actually get the turn in to heal itself). Sludge Bomb is fairly useless with Bug Upheavel there. Hopefully your Color Glasses will kick in on one of your attacking moves.
Ninetales@Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP/ 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Scheme
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball
Looks pretty good. Put them to sleep, Scheme on the switch, and attempt to sweep. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually worked.
Persian@Leftovers
Trait: Limber
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Scheme
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
Special Attacking Persian, always good for laughs. Another set that relies on sleep, but Hypnosis now has 70 accuracy, and combined with Persian's speed (and the fact that it can't be paralyzed), it could possibly work in the right situation (late game). Switch in on a T-Wave (or similar) and put them to sleep. Follow this up with Scheme and attempt to sweep. Its base 65 Sp. Atk is not unusable seeing as it gets Scheme (and a turn to use it in with Hypnosis), and it gets 2 good Special Attacking moves, Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball. It also get Power Gem if you really need a Rock move, and Dream Eater if you plan to battle idiots.
Seaking@Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rain Dance
- Aqua Tail
- Megahorn
- Flail
Switch it in on a Fire type and Rain Dance. As you do this they will switch to a counter, hopefully a Grass type that doesn't have a second typing that resists Bug. If it's something else then you better pray that you'll survive a hit and be able to Flail them (although the move is basically a filler). Again, this should probably be used in late game once any counters are dead (or at least severely weakened). It also gets Poison Stab, but the move is outclassed by Megahorn.
Xatu@Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Guard Swap
- Silver Wind
- Tail Wind
Xatu has so many options this gen. This set is best used by letting an opponent Curse/Calm Mind up and switching in when they Rest. Guard Swap the foe, then proceed to own. Silver Wind for Dark Types. Tail Wind for recovery (you can also use Wish if you need it).
Shuckle@Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy/Empty Axis (Unknown)
EVs: 252 HP / 127 Def / 126 Sp. Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Power Trick
- Rock Slide/Stone Edge
Lay down Spikes and poison things. When all physical attacking opponents are dead, bring Shuckle out, Power Trick, and attempt to own with a base 230 Attack stat. Beware of Mixed Sweepers. I'd love to see this set work.
Camerupt@Leftovers
Trait: Hard Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Land Power
- Flamethrower/Fire Blast
- Ancient Power/Will-o-Wisp/Stealth Rock/Explosion
- Ancient Power/Will-o-Wisp/Stealth Rock/Explosion
Camerupt is no longer forced into being a mixed sweeper, or perhaps even a useless Pokemon. His new ability seems to (partially?) negate SE hits, which really helps him, and he now has a powerful Special Attacking move for each of his types (plus the now special Ancient Power). Will-o-Wisp and Stealth Rock are very useful for the inevitable switch to a Water type, Ancient Power obviously for Flyers and similar. Explosion runs off his massive base Attack.
Beruberuto@Leftovers
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 126 Atk / 127 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Earthquake/Power Whip
- Return/Body Slam
- Rest
Gengar owns it, but oh well. After a few Curses, Beruberuto would be fairly hard to take down. Body Slam is good for Par (Return if you want a little more power), Earthquake or Power Whip depending on what your team needs.
Floatsel@Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Bulk Up
Ice Fang
Waterfall
Crunch/Baton Pass
Bring it out on something that will force a switch (Fire, Rock, Ground etc.) and Bulk Up on the switch. If it is a Grass type, you can Ice Fang it, if Electric you should probably switch out or BP (and repeat the process once the counter is fainted). As always, much more useful in later game.
Toritoidon@Leftovers
Trait: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Atk / 78 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Curse
Earthquake
Waterfall
Recover
Curse, Recover as needed, and attack.
