Concerning usage of the Report button

I'm a little confused, when you click "Report" a box comes up and asks for you message. Is this message a copied and pasted version of the bad post, or your own accusation to make things easier, a.k.a. so-and-so flamed so-and-so? Basically, what do you put in the report box once you click on it?

I believe it's your summary of the post. For example, earlier I reported a post that was advertising (and is still there, dammit) and merely typed 'Advertising post'.

You only have to put in the reason why your are reporting this, which rule it broke.
The mods will see which post has been reported so there is no point in copying it and putting it in there.
