Concerns about Wi-fi

Zora

perpetually tired
Wi-fi was great with MKDS, but it just felt too limited. You could only race up to four people on about half the courses. However when you link up, you can do anything avalible, on a team, up to eight people. However with Animal Crossing approaching, will the Wi-Fi there also be too "limited?"

Uh...maybe you should actually LOOK at all the online features available for AC:WW before making an "onoes! teh aminal kross gam is gunna b limitd" thread. You'd see that the online features are MANY. Mario Kart DS added the online stuff at the last minute, while Animal Crossing was going to be online from the very beginning, so of course the online features on Mario Kart would be much more limiting as they were just slapped on.

Plus they needed to keep Mario Kart at 60fps while online which is no easy feat so they removed the more processor unfriendly levels...again for the number of people playing at once (besides all previous Mario Kart games have been 4 player except the SNES which was two.

Animal Crossing is a much less taxing game and doesnt require 60fps...it can run perfectly fine on less as it isnt fast-paced & action packed
