Pokemon Sunday is having a HGSS special on the 21st. This does not guarentee new information, but it's better than nothing :p Possibly quite a few short game clips :)

I could easily see it being a complete "recap" of all the CoroCoro information thus far+the few things Sunday had first.

I would think they'd restate a tiny bit, but the rest would be new. So far they've been very generous about not restating things. Every time they mentioned HGSS they would *** something new. So you can expect more than one game clip I'm sure.

In the picture from the official site of the inside of the Slowpoke Well, someone asked how you would get to the Strength boulder by the last Rocket Grunt in the Well.

I noticed that the smaller dark green/gray rocks look a lot like Rock Smash-able rocks, so that how you would get there.

The Team Rocket grunt is blocking the way, and they all leave after you beat them, giving you access to the Strength-boulder.

No, I'm saying that no one knows about National Dex pokemon until you get the National Dex, because, like Carlisle said, they've always existed, but they haven't been discovered. To keep it a remake and not a redo, they have to take us back to when we didn't know those pokemon existed, therefore, you have to wait for the National Dex.

Thank you finally someone understands my point of view. I never played FRLG but I think I read that you can not evolve Golbat into Crobat even if you have it at max happiness. And like many have said when Johto came out we never knew about Hoenn or Sinnoh. Kanto would be the same we never knew about Johto and it was next to Kanto. And for those saying that Kanto and Hoenn are in the same timeline and they should know about those pokemon does not make sense. Becasue in the original games Hoenn was even in a thought process.

And I know is not always good to compare the games to the anime and vice versa but I think it could apply here. For my example I will use Kanto and Johto. Ash went through the whole region of Kanto and meet all of the then known Pokemon, fast foward to Johto and Ash is bombarded with Pokemon he has never seen before but that in the anime's timeline have always existed. The same could be said about the main series games. In DPP every pokemon that is in the sinnoh dex is a sinnoh pokemon regardless if they originated in other regions. So the in-game player probably doesn't know that some of the Pokemon that are native to his/her region actually live in other regions. So when the main character get the national dex they would then be aware that these and other pokemon exist elsewhere. So the Johto players may not know that some of their pokemon could evolve further.

One last thing to the side the only main player that have no excuse of not knowing more pokemon is Brenden/May who are said to have moved from Johto to Hoenn.

Okay. There are plotholes in the games. Oh my god, a character should theoretically know about this already, and has no excuse of not knowing that already. Oh well, for some strange, convoluted, messed up reason, they don't. They're not going to change the games in anyway because they technically "SHOULD" know about this or that. The game has plot holes. Stop arguing about it.

After, looking at it again, I see what you're talking about. I didn't see that the first time, my mistake (I knew it was like that in the originals, but it looked like they had added that rock now).

Thank you for correcting me, though.

I still think those smaller rocks are Rock Smash-able though. It would be nice to have area specific colored rocks like real life instead of just generic brownish rocks.

I NEVER said that they should know about them, if your talking about the last sentence I wrote that was a joke I wasn't really serious about that sentence.

Oh, sorry if that came out wrong. The comment was mostly directed at that conversation in general, than at your specific post.
Other people were bringing up things like that... I thought it was evident by the "stop arguing about it", but... Eh.

I knew that Togekiss was not going to be included in the Johto dex neither are any of the other new evos. That because it wouldn't be a remake if they added the new evoultions at the beginning of the game.

With that logic though, these games aren't remakes because they have, among many things, a girl character and Pokemon following you around, neither of which happened in the original games.

Too bad that Pokemon like Togekiss aren't in the JohtoDex- I think having Pokemon like that one in it would've been a great way to differentiate itself from the original G/S games. (It shouldn't be a big deal negatively since they'd still be G/S remakes.)

There's still a chance they pull out a DPPt (at least partially, still not allowing 3rd/4th Gen pokémon not related to Kanto/Johto pokémon) instead of a FRLG this time, though. You may be able to have Togekiss before E4, but you'd have to evolve it in another game, or get a Shiny Stone by trading.

m190049, Blue Sea Dragoon already corrected me.

Thank you for being considerate though (rather than going all "OMG uR wRoNg!!1!!111!") and thank you for trying to show my erroneous assumption based on the image, because its generous to point out to someone that they made a mistake.

Its too early to shove off 4th gen evolutions out of the pokedex. They can easily be tacked on at the END of the 251 pokemon. Just like in Platinum where there was pokemon after Manaphy and still considered the Sinnoh Dex.

I can't tell. Are you being sarcastic? :p

The thing is though: There was already a plain Sinnoh Dex, and those were just additions added onto the end. But here, there's no reason they would need to add them onto the end. Though I can see your point.

...And also, isn't having MORE than 251 Pokemon kind of an overkill? That's already more than half of them in just a regional. dex. It would be seriously large....

Well maybe it could be shortened somehow? Take out the kanto starters etc.
