Lol no. Electric is a pretty balanced type already. Back then, Psychic had virtually no weaknesses (Bug only had Pin Missile, learned by Jolteon and Beedrill, Twineedle, learned by Beedrill, and Leech Life) and no resistances (only themselves resisted it). Since day one, Electric had Grass resisting it and Ground being immune (and also super effective against it).

Hello??? Gengar says hi.

Gengar says hello but he didn't resist Psychic attacks. His poison part made him vulnerable. Plus, in the days of RBY, the only ghost type attacks were Confuse Ray and Night Shade. Neither of which were super effective against Psychics. Dont forget it wasn't until GSC that Lick became a Ghost type and they introduced other moves. Agatha really was wasted as a Ghost type specialist of the Elite Four.

I read it as he though that the NPC in the room was Wally :S might just be me reading it wrong, if so i apologise :D

Just for some clarification, there was a mistake in the programming that made psychic types immune to Ghost and and that Lick was always a Ghost type move

lol might be, its a confusing conversation XD

Either way, how could it be Wally? Even if Wally was in the 5th gen games, it doesn't really look like he would wear a bonnet lol

Personally i don't think it is him, sure it might resemble him quite a bit but with the possibility of there being a 5th gen remake of R/S which he would be in i would assume, there would be no real reason for Wally to apear in B&W (unless it's a small cameo to sort of hint at a remake) but i don't see him in the game in any other fashion other than that.

Lol what

Lick being Ghost-type wasn't a programming mistake, neither Psychic-types being immune to Ghost. Unless you mean Lick was actually super effective against Psychic-types in Stadium 1?

Hello??? Gengar says hi.

As already said, Lick was the only damaging Ghost-type move... and Psychics were immune to it.

Night shade?

And are you sure that in yellow version Psychics were imune to ghost??

I'm perfectly sure, I recall one of Agatha's pokémon tried to use Lick on my Mewtwo, only to fail miserably and die to Psychic. Even I was surprised by that.

And now that you mentioned Night Shade... Well, I *think* it used to work against Psychic-types, however, just as it is nowadays, Night Shade (and also Seismic Toss, Sonicboom, Dragon Rage, etc etc) are unable to do super effective or not very effective damage. Maybe they weren't affected by immunities, but I can assure you they didn't do super effective damage.

And that Psychic's only weakness were lame, lame Bug-type moves.

Just to lay this to rest and get back on topic..here..

Gen 1 Psychic resisted ghost.

No, it was immune. I guess you read the chart wrongly.

Is it just me, or do the Reshiram and Zekrom toys have the same unfinished and rubbery look that the green/yellow pokemon has? While Tsutaja and Mijumaru have a more shiny finished look.

Serebii doesn't want us to discuss rumors/speculations in the confirmed thread?

Why I never

Guys, can we please try and keep this thread to discussing confirmed things, not rumours and certainly not fakes.

That toy's nose is really big! That, I think, is also the ONLY flaw with Mijumaru, no matter what, I still choose you Mijumaru!

although they are rumors it does clarify who nezumimi is (the green guy) who isnt a rumor since serebii posted the finger puppets on the site
