So my laptop has been very slow for the past few months. I recently took it to a local computer shop, and they cleaned up everything, saying Norton Anti-Virus was taking up too much space/memory. They installed three other programs to keep my laptop clean of spyware/bugs/viruses. After that, my laptop was a whole lot faster, so I thought that the internet would work much faster. It didn't. We went back, again, and they added more RAM, and deleted this network that had weird characters in it. o_o; It was still slow. Now, I have no idea what to do. Some suggestions were that there's someone else connected to my router, or someone hacked into it. I don't know a whole lot about this type of stuff, and I'm afraid I'll never be able to fix the problem. Do I have to buy a new router? What should I do? Help or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ^_^
