Virtual Console is the name of the "service" that allows you to download NES/SNES/N64/ and others onto the Wii.

so it's the service?hmmm...another question:around how much does it cost to download a game?

I'm pretty sure that it's just a few dollars for a NES game, 5 dollars for a SNES game, and 10 dollars for an N64 game. I'm not sure about Genesis and TGFX16, though.

thats a rumor. Not Confirmed FYI. Although Hudson did say that turbographx shouldnt be more than a dollar or two. Also there will be new games on the virtual console and more developers will offer classic games that they made according to Perrin Kaplan they have almost finalized plans on pricing and business structure and they will make a big anouncement about it soon.

Yeah, I remember IGN said that. It seems logical enough, but is still a rumor. I wouldn't expect any games to get over 20 dollars. The $20 games being AAA games on the 64, like OoT.

IIRC, it was said that the price of the game will be determined by the popularity or quality of the game. If it's a classic like Ocarina of Time, it will probably cost more than some game that no-one's heard about. I am unsure if this is entirely true though, but I hope it isn't.

N64 will probably cost much more than the others, as the original games themselves costed a lot. Plus, Nintendo probably want to encourage people to download their older games.

Nintendo will probably make them attractively priced, not going over 30 dollars, if even that much. I can't immagine any of the games costing the whole price they did when they originally came out.
