Walking advertisement for Mostly by accident. This is Connor. Connor is psychic, hence the poorly drawn flames. Connor is the stereotypical 'uber-cool yet arrogant and aloof' rival character. He's got fire specialty psychic powers, a dark and mysterious past, a really gorgeous physique and (because I SO enjoy pointing and laughing at stereotypes) a Chimecho starter (seen here wrapped loosely around his left shoulder - that's HIS left, not yours).

Oh, and StellarWind (who draws and sprites really amazing stuff) was right about this one - no matter what the pose/expression, it's nigh IMPOSSIBLE to make Chimecho look cool. So I resorted to draping said wind chime around the well muscled shoulders of someone really cool. o_0 Does Chimecho look any cooler for it?

ARGH. HAVE TO LINK CAUSE IMAGE ISN'T WORKING. HELP? ANYONE? HOW ON EARTH DO I GET IT TO APPEAR IN THE POST?!

"poorly drawn flames" meaning "you probably wouldn't have guessed they were flames without already knowing what they were". They look kinda cool, but 'flame-like? Not particularly.

And 'silent pretty boy'? Mmm, not 'silent' as such - more 'doesn't reckon anyone around him is worth talking to'. Yeh know the 'better-than-thou-so-get-out-of-my-face' sort? Pretty much that. And yes, it IS rather a stereotype - but I'm of the opinion that one generally needs to 'know the rules and why they're there' afore being able to break them effectively. It's why he's got a Chimecho - it was basically THE most ignored/downtrodden psychic type I could find. Just to break the mould of 'uber rival-type with uber pokemon that stacks the odds so unfairly against the main character'. Meh, if Mba ever gets past the first few chapters, you can see for yourself.

^^ Whee! Concrit! Thanks muchly... yeh know, I either hadn't noticed about his arm or had decided to ignore it and consequently forgot the matter. Ah well. Heh, the head took me a while - especially the eyes. I'd wanted him looking a bit more malevolent that he does... meh. The general idea is seems to be there.

Wicked, love it! This picture is as flashy and showy as Conner himself, which make me like it doubly so. I love the texture in your shading. True, I didn't think they were flames but I did recken they were cool energy being throwing about nether the less. His costume is nifty too!
